The Perfect Wig To Wear During Cancer Treatment? Wig Review

Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel. My name is Magda lebakowski and I finally get to say it. I am a cancer survivor today, I'm doing a pretty exciting video. I'M doing my first wig review the brand. You know inks was kind enough to send me a wig and I'm gon na tell you exactly what I think about it. So the reason why I'm really excited to do this wig review is because I am doing it from the perspective of someone who has undergone cancer treatment and who has lost all of their hair. So from the perspective of somebody who wants a wig that looks very similar to real hair, so you can feel like yourself again and also from the perspective of someone who has a sensitive, scalp someone, even though I have a little bit of hair right now. It'S still not much, and I also probably be wearing a wig for quite some time, so I just want to do a wig review to show others undergoing treatment about potentially good places to buy your wigs. I'Ve also really been on the hunt for a good place to buy wigs online. As most of you know, if you've watched my previous video, the wig that I have been wearing since I got diagnosed with cancer was bought at a local salon and unfortunately they do not sell online. So I've kind of been stumped when people have asked me for advice about where to go for wigs, I'm kind of like you know I don't know so. Hopefully I have some luck with this and we'll be able to recommend you know what so I'm not gon na lie. I have peaked in the box. I was way too excited when they sent this to me huge. Thank you to you know eggs for the wig. Look at this box, it's so darn cute, like so shiny okay. So when you first open the box, this is the wig. From what I saw on the website looks super similar to my hair. Before I lost it, so I'm very excited to try it on and they also come with a little booklet, so it just has like care instructions and how to style to make it look more natural. Can I swim with my hair, just like a little booklet on explaining everything with the wig? It comes with a returned little easy return paper. I guess it also comes with a wig cap. I'Ve heard that's pretty standard for usually when you order a wig on line. Comes with this little tag, so that has like care instructions inside on slope paper as well, and then, like the style number of your wig, also has extra straps and clips for your wake as well. We need to replace or add more, and the last thing it has is a strap, so I'm not too familiar with wigs when you have hair, because I've never had to go through that, and obviously this is not much used to me at the moment. But you can probably like fasten the straps and he'll on the way, so I just unpackaged the wig and first impressions are so soft, so this is really humiliating, like I've missed that hair so dearly - and this is honestly super similar - it even has like little baby Hairs to make it look more natural and she is a lace front, so why not try to put it close up there? If you look, it looks super natural because, even if I put my hair in here, there's like a hairline and if I flip her inside out, you can see that there is lace, meaning you can part her. However, you want - and this to me when I saw this was like a game-changer, because for some reason on my wig that I've been wearing, I can't change the part, but with this one you can change the part and that's what I'm super excited for. So one thing that I did notice is that it does have clips on the sides. This is obviously meant for people who have hair and wear this, so I will see I'm worried that that might be a little painful for people who don't have here, but we'll see I don't have very much hair right now. So if it was annoying, I would feel it so I'll. Let you know, and then over here on the back, we do have adjustable straps. If it's a little too big to make it more snug, you can easily adjust it. So, just to give you some information about her, I have it all written down here. Her name is Charlotte. So as a charlotte remy human hair, lace wig, she is a 150 percent in density, so I think regular. Wigs are 130 percent density, meaning she has a little bit more hair than the average wig, but I think for long hair. That'S what you want to have a little bit more hair. However, like my biggest problem with my wigs, is that they're like poofy at the top, which is not something that I was used to, but she doesn't look very poufy at the top. The exact color is a mixture of ice blonde and beige blonde with natural-looking dark roots. So I think that's also a huge thing for a wig. If it has dark, it looks much more natural than a wig. That is just one call it all around already. So for those of you who aren't familiar with wigs, usually when you get a wig sent to you, it doesn't have its lace type. So you can see here she has a bunch of extra lace on the front and on the sides, and this is really meant for you to kind of cut it on your own. Based on your hairline. Some people have different kinds of hairline, so you can cut them differently from all the tutorials that I've watched you're supposed to cut it on your own head, but I don't feel comfortable doing that, just because I don't think I'm experienced enough to cut it on my Own head, so I'm gon na put it on my mannequin because I think I'll do a better job cutting her that way so I'll cut, Billy's friend and then I'll show you what she looks like on. Rit laces cut. Let'S give her. Let'S go goodness. I definitely don't look good when I'm trying to look down hold on. I just I just take a quick peek here: oh wow, okay Wow, so it's crazy. How, like just a wig, can make me feel like my old self again. I have not looked in the mirror and looked like this in a very long time, and I mean granted it's not exact, but it is so similar and okay. So one thing I really do have to say about this wig is: it is so light my big problem with my older. It is that it was much heavier, and so when I would wear it for a couple hours straight, I just couldn't wait to take it off like it was so heavy you'd. Give me a headache, and this wig is so lightweight, and it just is so snug on my head. I feel like I could do gymnastics and I would stay. I have personally had very little experience with doing that and doing there's no problem, not sure. If I could say the same for doing it on my head, but maybe on the next week I'll let you know so these are still the curls that the wig came in originally and they are absolutely beautiful. But if you stay tuned for my next video, I'm gon na show you how I style her and speaking of the clips, I don't feel them at all. I have the wig very, very snug on my head: have a pretty small head, so I make the wig super tight for my head and I don't feel them at all. So the good thing about that is once you do start growing your hair back. You can continue to wear your awake, as I said, even though my hair is growing back, I will probably still be wearing away for quite a while, especially since winter is coming.
