Hi guys welcome back to my channel and if you are new hi my name is shani. Thank you so much for clicking to watch this video. What'S up, what's good with you, thank you for being here so in today's video, i'm going to be showing you guys how i lay my wigs without any bow hold any glue, we're not doing that over here, any tape, um and without braiding down your hair, because I didn't break down my hair, so if you guys are interested in how i laid this wig and made it look like a sew-in, let's just go ahead and hop into this video, but before we hop into this video just go ahead and subscribe all right. I'M going to start off by wetting, my hair, so that i can lay it down. I have to add a lot of water to my hair in order to like be able to manage it, so i'm just splitting it in half and adding some more water and then i'm going to start to detangle by section. So i'm going to clip this part out of the way and i'm going to start off by detangling with this brush that i got from rpg show. It really didn't take me a long time to detangle my hair, but it did take me a minute to lay my hair all down, so i detangled that part and now i'm just twisting it and putting it in a bantu knot. So it will stay stretched and out of the way, while i detangle the top section of my hair, as you guys can see, i already did the other side of my hair off camera. So that is what it's going to look like when i'm done with everything. I'M supposed to be doing so, i'm just detangling with that same brush all right now, once this back section is laid down, i'm going to take the clip off of the top section and put it into a low pigtail or braided pigtail, whatever you want to call It i'm just laying my hair down, so i can put the wig right on top of it and i'm going to keep brushing it until i get it as smooth as possible and pull some baby hairs out, because i'm going to need this to make the wig Look more like a sew-in and more natural. Now i'm going to take a hair tie and just put my hair in a pigtail or whatever you want to call it and braid it out of the way, and i'm using these hair ties to keep my hair stretched and flat and then once i feel like It'S set down into place, i'm going to take the bows out and put the wig on, so i'm just going to keep braiding this until i am done and then i'm going to wrap it up with my hair tie and do my eye makeup in the meantime. So it can kind of set and mold into place and then i'll move on to putting the wig and styling it and doing everything i need to do all right, so the wig that i'm going to be wearing is from my first wigs shout out to my First, wigs for sponsoring this video, so that's the wig i'm going to be wearing. This is how it looks right out of the box. This is the inside. It has two combs in it and it also has a comb at the bottom of the wig at the nape of your neck, and this wig already comes pre-made with adjustable straps in it. So you can make the wig tighter okay. So with this wig, my first wig provided me with a wig stand whatever you call this to put my wig on and then in your box. I also got a wig cap, a pouch that has instructions in it. It comes with two clamps bobby pins fly away. Tamer and this elastic band, which is what i'm going to use to make my wig, lay really really flat. Alright, so i'm taking the elastic band and i'm pulling it taut and i'm going to measure it from ear to ear and that's how long the elastic band should be so just make sure you pull it taut. So the band does what it needs to do once you sew it onto your wig and now i'm just going to cut the excess off and sew this onto my wig, all right y'all. So i went ahead and did my eye makeup and brows, as you guys can see, to give my hair time to like mold and get flatter and dry a little bit, because i did put a lot of water in it. So that just gave me time to do my eye makeup. Okay, so the unit that i got is named mfs002. The texture that i got is silky the length that i got is 20 inches. The hair color that i got is natural is a natural hair color. The cap size that i got is size. One in the circumference is 21.5 inches through 22 inches. I literally measured my head to make sure i got the right size wig, because sometimes when i get wigs, it's a little too big in the back be flapping and when all that stuff, so i made sure i measured my head and then the cap construction. I got a six inch deep part line because sometimes when i get wigs, i don't like when the parting is like just this much nah. That'S not that's not gon na work for me, so i want the parting to come back like a little bit more i'll. Show you guys when i take um this off my head, but i like the parting to be deep and then i have a glueless lace, cap wig and the lace color is light brown taking this off yes waves. Yes, this is how the braids are. Looking. My hair is still wet, but it's okay, um, i'm just going to take these bows out of my head. I put them there to kind of keep my hair stretched, but right now i got to take them out because i want this wig to lay flat. Okay, now i'm taking some bobby pins and i'm going to pin these braids off to the side. Pin it over like this just so it lays flat, and then i'm going to take this one and pin it over and just pin it and it should stay secure. So i think we're good all right, so i probably should put the wig cap on, but i don't want to put the wig cap on that's extra steps that i don't feel like taking all right. So now i'm just putting the wig on my head just to see where the lace is going to fall and then i'm going to cut the lace off all right. Now, i'm just going to sew the elastic band. I'M going to try to show you all this. On camera, but girl it's about to be hard, so these are like the flaps right by your sideburns and that's where you need to place your band okay. So i went ahead and sewed one piece of the elastic band onto the wig and now i'm going to sew the other piece on on camera, even though this is kind of difficult to do on camera, because i got ta hold it up, but i'm pretty sure You guys will appreciate me showing you guys this part, because this is how your wig is going to lay without the glue and without all that extra stuff, so i'm gon na lay it flat right on the wig like this. I really hope y'all can see this. Oh, my gosh, and once you get this elastic band on you're, pretty much good, so i'm just gon na keep looping it over this video is a whole mess all right, so i'm at the end of it, and now i'm just going to loop it one more Time through the elastic band and the wig and then tie it around three times and then knot it, so it won't go nowhere and now i'm just going to cut the excess thread off all right. So this is how the wig is looking with the elastic band. On it all right, so now i'm just going to put this on my head, i'm going to start off with the elastic band and then i'm going to pull the rest of the wig over my head and i'm just going to pull the wig back behind my Hairline and pull some of my edges out and then lay them down with some eco styler gel. Now, i'm just going to straighten this wig out. Lay this part a little bit more. I don't feel like. I need to pluck the parting, because it just looks really good already and i don't want to like touch it and mess it up. So i just want to leave it like this. My flat iron is heating up. So now i'm just going to plug the wand. In because the wand that i'm using, which i got from tj maxx, is what i'm going to use to like lay the parting. Now i'm just going to straighten this out, because i want it to be straight. Yes, inches yeah all right, so i'm really not doing too much to straighten this hair out. I just want it to be straight all right. So, moving on to the top of this wig, i'm taking my curling wand, which is really hot - i don't know how hot it gets, but it gets really hot and i'm just going to use this go over the parting. You can also do this with a hot comb. I don't have my hot comb right now. It actually broke, but either or you can use a hot comb or you can do what i'm doing in this video and i'm just going to repeat that process. On the other side of my head - hopefully i didn't confuse you guys too much like, especially when i was trying to sew it on and show y'all that was a whole mess. It'S really not hard at all. It'S not really time consuming at all. The only thing that was time consuming was laying my hair down other than that, once you get the elastic band onto the wig and put it on your head, you're literally good, so yeah, i'm done talking y'all heads off. I really hope you guys like this video. If you did go ahead and give me a thumbs up, comment down below and also subscribe to, my channel, if you haven't already - and i will see y'all in my next upload - okay

Brown Skin, Kinky Hair: Just FYI as a response to some of the comments. You can have fine 4c hair as well. Fine hair does not depend on the curl pattern, it's the thickness of the individual strands. You can also have thick hair with low density.. meaning the actual hair strand is thick, but you don't have many strands on your head. The porosity is also a factor and even if the hair shrinks when coming into contact with water or extending. I have 4c hair with medium thickness and high density that shrinks when washing loose. I have learned the hard way that just because someone is 4c, doesn't mean my style will look anything like theirs. She's not being misleading, she does have type 4 hair, this style is just easier for her combination of hair features.

Kultured: So I had an emergency today and someone cancelled on me to braid my hair , so I found your video and I’m too happy right now lmao. Thank u , thank u! And we have the same hair type so I’m excited to try this in the next 20mins .

Char Ward: love it!! I’m definitely trying this method for my wigs!!! To get my hair flat under my wigs is a STRUGGLE!!! Thank you thank you thank you lol

Namira Walker: I tried it, I have very thick hair. Instead I wet it in the shower, detangled it, applied hella gel on 2 sections, slicked back each section with a brush and put each in a pony tail. Braided the ends then put hair ties to hold it. Pinned them on the back of my head. Then put the wig cap on. It worked!!!!

Karima Shabazz: This was such a life saver! Thank you, love!

Nene Ahsain: Okay, I definitely need to try this method. Ain't nobody got time for all the glue and blow drying... and don't even get me started on the stocking cap method lmao --- sidenote: at 10:28 when one side of your hair was over your shoulder, it kind of looked like a sleek bob and girl! I feel like that would be a LEWK on you :)

Valerie: I can't wait to try this when I buy my first wig next month!

Melanin Gemini: This is the exact video I needed. Thank you! ❤️❤️

Kamaria M: This is great I have been looking for someone who actually has hair and edges (no offence) but has a natural look to their wig

Monica Soyemi: Your hair is also kinda fine, I don’t know any 4C naturals that’s are getting their hair that flat for a wig. I think this is a great hack for people with finer hair

Journeythrough3: I agree nice hack for softer finer hair. 4c here and I can’t begin to slick or two pony my wet hair..not gonna happen too thick. Again thanks for your time

Tatiana Davidson: Looks very natural n beautiful luv ur videos hun

LifeWIthZeniya: Imma try this Bc I can’t scalp braid and hate taking them braids out lol

Tania P: I have done this. Very easy I love it!!!

Ify Nweke: I wish my baby hairs were that compliant

Latoya Andrews: Great job you look Beautiful ✅

kait dorsey: aight so i definitely do not have 4c hair lmao obviously but this is a life saver since im growing out my keratin treated hair, my natural curls are 2c-3a but of course “temporary” keratin isnt so temporary thank u sm girl, i aint got time to go buy a wig cap with all these finals

Ify Nweke: But as always looking gorgeous

Nichole P: Well done love!!!!

Teara Peeples: so prettyyy!

Angie Rose: You’re stunning !!

Emily Jane: How long does this stay on throughout the day do u think x

mahoganyc miles: Y’all 4c hair CAN lay down you’ll just have to do it in smaller sections if your hair is thick! Stop saying you can’t do it because you can it just takes more time and effort.

GGKittyXO: Would this work with thick, still fine, but thick and long curls?

Danielle S: Dumb question do you have to slick it back everyday or how longes does pony tails last ?

They Love Sara: What kinda clips are those that you used to keep your hair outa the way while you were molding it down for the two braids?

Kayla Nashaee: I love this method ... but your makeup tho

Poohbaby44: I really enjoyed the video

HAIR OBSESSION: I'm new to wig but I am in love with them but do you have any nasty flake dry materials white stuffs all over your scalp from the wig? I don't have any dandruff but I believe the wig make my hair look more different full of white little pieces from the wig. That what I thought because my hair always been so clean

Kimiah Cargill: Your natural hair is so pretty mine is just naughty so I don't know if I have the same type of hair is yours I don't think so cuz yours is so stretchy and elastic looking mine is just thick is thick it would have took me forever to do this to my regular hair so I have to braid it up really tiny going back I wish my hair wasn't thick

2cutenva: Nice video, ty:)

Montachay Wallace: Great video

Kristin Dabney: You’re so beautiful

Danni F: same here... these youtubers have ppl doing too much. like who has that time before work?

Avery: I think she has 4c coily hair

Kimiah Cargill: I didn't get no elastic bands I didn't get no bobby pins or nothing like that I got a free brush in my wig and the instructions and that's it

Emily Jane: Do u have to use gel ? Or is that because of your hair texture ? I am white see x

Uniquely_Chyy ~: Does your hair grow like this?

vanessa rodriguez: Hahah would the hair like fly off during strong winds ? And is that no damage to like the front part of ur hair / edges?

Jwal M: this is possible for 4c hair, I did it

Helen Lucka: She is able to lay her hair like that because her hair is short and she has a very low density. People like me can’t.

iFruit96: My hair way too thick for this

MEELIY: Can we do a side part whithout glue or got2b ?
