The Braid Bestie 2.0 || Unboxing & Assembly || Every Braider Needs This !

I feel this way what's up, y'all welcome back to my channel on behalf of free. If you're new here welcome, i'm brittany and today is clearly pajama day. We are snowed in today here in atlanta, i'll show y'all in just a minute, but typically on sundays. I'M booked it's the day before the work week starts the day before the school week starts and people if they can't get in friday. There sunday like to come in friday or saturday like to come in on sunday, but my clients can't stop, because we don't generally get snow like that in atlanta, so they were nervous about driving in this kind of weather and they rescheduled for tomorrow. So that left me with a full day to do absolutely nothing which was perfect, because i've been sitting on this christmas gift for a month. I know y'all, tired of hearing me talk about it, ready to see what it is. So in today's video i will be building my christmas gift that was from my friend jennifer, oh, but the company is called twisted, pretty haircare y'all and the item. That'S inside this box, i'll put it on the screen now so you'll see before we start building it. What it's supposed to look like, but it's called a braid bestie if you're a braider and you are subscribed to like any like greater tick top pages or any like um greater facebook groups. You'Ve seen this before it's like a braiding rack, slash, storage, slash shelving on wheels, it's very convenient and i've been talking about getting it since it came out just running my mouth about it, but i was being cheap and didn't want to pay the price for it. I think when it first came out it was 300, then it went down to 250 and i was not willing to pay 250., so i was talking to my friend jen about it and i also believe my mom was there too. I was just talking like saying that i wanted a braid bestie, really really bad, but i was waiting for the price to go down or i was going to figure out the tools that the lady used to make it and just go, get them and try to Make it myself build it myself, but christmas day i received this and i was blown away. So, thank you so much jen, i might say it a million times in this video, but i really appreciate you for one supporting me to listening and through refer back to want to support me. I really do appreciate my gift, i'm very, very thankful for this. So today is a day that trail and i both have time and we're going to build the braid bestie. I cannot do any type of building without trail, because i just don't have the patience or the like technical skill, so i'm so glad that the snow gave us the opportunity today to build this. I'M going to remove this storage right here, this little cubby shop that i've had the past couple years out here, i'm going to move this to my room and then the braid and recover replace this. The braid bestie, i meant to say, will replace this and this space right here, so i'm so excited about that. The pictures that i'm going to show on the screen right now are the ones that i did find that people assemble on the um ladies page, and they come in white and black, those that are the main colors that they come in, but they also have these Little sheets that you can put in on the compartments around like the windows of it and my friend got them in purple. Y'All know the colors, for my business are black purple and 14 karat gold, so the braiding rack is going to be black and purple and then once i decorate it y'all i want to try to get like led lights to put under the roof of the shelf. So that, if it's like dull in this area, dark gym whatever i can like um cut on my led lights in there and have my whole shopping system lit up, i need to go to five below or somewhere and grab those probably later today or tomorrow, when The weather is better, but yeah we're going to build this, i'm going to show y'all the snow, it's so pretty outside and i'll come back. So this is what it's looking like now: y'all the snow storm or the snow probably started about an hour hour and a half ago, so still trying to pile up. Look at the playground, i'm unboxing the pieces, and these are the sheets that are supposed to go around the frame of it that i told y'all you can get in different colors of my friend got in purple for my business. Why they crack down in the basement down under all of them? I ain't gon na lie, i'm very disappointed about that. The purple was was really gon na set it off. It was gon na set it off for me, because y'all know how i feel about purple and then my colors and stuff um. I could talk to jen about sending it back, but i don't even want to go through that. I'Ve been so excited about having this. So i'm not going to worry about the cracks. What i'm going to do is try to go to office, snacks or um staples and try to get it wrapped, like with my logo or something build it and then go get like a label. That'S something i can peel and stick on here with my logo and it'll have the 14 karat gold lettering and stuff, or i can go on amazon. I'M gon na figure out something to kind of like accent it and decorate it nice to cover up these blemishes, because i've been wanting this for so long, i'm not gon na wait any longer. So this is the sheet that they give you. This is how you're supposed to put it together. These are the slots right here that are cracked, these three slots and then that opening right there and they don't give you a fourth slot, because this is where you insert your stuff from in so there's three. So one of those slots will actually be facing the back of my wall, my wall, and then these are the two slots on the side. I'Ll probably just get my logo on each side or just order some peel and stick lettering. 14 karat gold lettering to put out braids by britney or something on the side of each one. This is how it looks. You get two shelves and then all around each side you have the braiding racks, where you'll hang the hair so cute, and these are all the pieces. It comes with jim. We pack up snow and send it to you. Jen, i'm building a braid, bestie, say hey to my vlog, oh hold on. Let me take you, oh you got your airpods hold on. She wants you to say, hey she been telling everybody that you got it yeah, i'm um, i'm vlogging and i just mentioned it. Jen so tell the vlog, tell my vlog, hey, i'm finally building the christmas gift. You got me girl. Look though, look the darn that i put on lip gloss. Why the darn things came crack the panel's in it? Are you serious yeah? It came with a receipt, but i was just telling my vlog i'mma get my logo printed on top of it to cover this crack. Okay, but i know you spent your money, so i don't know how you feel about it, but i'm just i'm gon na decorate. It up so they don't see. This part, take pictures and complain about it and see and see what they can do, but i'm so excited to have it jane. I don't want to wait for that. I don't know i'mma still. They could give you a couple of dollars for it or something, and then just um, okay and then see how they can accommodate me right. Okay, that's what okay y'all, so we got that set um set up with jen. I just sent her the pictures and she don't handle it, so wait what these oh, they sent extra black ones and the black one's, not cracked. It just so happened that the purple ones ordered those separately. Oh, so this is the ones that came with it and she went and got up and ordered no dang, but why the black ones perfect, because they haven't secured yeah differently, were they both in the same kind of package? They were all in this box together yeah. They were the purple ones, just in a little shade, and maybe she ordered a different color too. I add on order because you can swap them out if you want oh yeah yeah, so that's good at those we'll start with those first yeah we will and then, when the purple ones get here, maybe we can slide those in okay, yeah, we'll just do that. There'S a lot of stuff that comes out of the packaging y'all know the little styrofoam so be prepared for that you're gon na have to vacuum. But here are the four wheels i told y'all. It operates like a cart kind of, so you can move it around. As you're working on the client's head, you can um roll it around um. They give you a ziplock bag, full of the nails and screws. These are all of the racks for the braiding wrap and the shelfing. Those are the panels and the two different colors, more shelving and the frames of the show. So that's everything y'all and when trailers ready we'll get to work and y'all, there's no like worded instructions at all, there's no step-by-step detailed instruction. They just give you picture photos, picture photos, photos of the tools and photos of how it looks when it's done. So you watch the steps and kind of like eye it. I guess everything is illustrated. Nothing is written out for you. I just grabbed this and i placed it over the holes like this and then trailer showed me how to screw it in all oh time. So this is the short little tv stand. I was telling y'all about that. I have in here now and i'm gon na, replace that with the little cubby shelf, that's in my salon space and bring it in my bedroom, so yeah we just got ta get her to the bedroom, and this is how it looks now that the shelf is On there i got to center it and do something about those cords and stuff, but i swapped everything out. I ended up putting my books up here, which makes more sense by my desk and stuff, don't mind my desk. It'S a mess by the way this was on my little nightstand. It'S dusty. I don't know what i'm gon na do with it, but i loved it um. It went right under my tv. My best friend got it from me. I believe for my 26 or 27th birthday i forget the company she ordered it from, but it was a real, thoughtful gift for all the our little throwbacks. This was the year we met in ninth grade. Look at me with my mp3 player: purple headphones journaling ain't! Nothing changed my college graduation, such a cute little girl - i don't know what i might do with it. I think i'm gon na go through those glittery um little cubby things these right here and get rid of a lot of that hair that i'm not gon na use ever again and kind of like remove those from the cubby shelf and put like magazines and miscellaneous Stuff and those open slots, like kind of like take this out, don't look in here: y'all got to go through it, but then just decorate this with different stuff that matches my bedroom decor. So, as you can see, i literally just took it out of the living room and put it in here. It still has to be sorted out to um hold on my bedroom stuff and then the hair stuff has to be put in it put in other containers to go out back in the salon: space, hey y'all. So this is the outcome. I need to move it. Um from against a lot to show y'all how it stands, but i just put racks on each side. It also has slots in the back for you to print the racks on the back, but i want to be able to push it against the wall. So i didn't assemble the racks on the back just on each side and that's more than enough that'll get me through one or two appointments, depending on the size and length but yeah. I just went ahead and put a few things in there to show y'all how you can feel the spade. It'S going to be completely different than this. I'M ordering some organization trays like this one off of amazon. I got this from five below so, if you're looking for the miniature ones, they're um on five below something acrylic like my organization stuff in my bathroom, so i'm gon na get some shelving in here. I also told y'all in the beginning of the video i want to get like led lights off amazon and you can change the colors. I can make it so when i'm working, i can kind of press the button and the light will come on because it's kind of dim right now the sun went down, so it's dark and if i'm looking for something going in my drawers going in my cups, I have extra lighting in here, so this is just the assembly video my review pretty much telling y'all showing y'all how we put it together, telling y'all how i like it and stuff, and finally like just getting it up and going for my packages to come in And i'm gon na finish the project completely, but yeah we're gon na deck it out some more so definitely stay tuned. For that also what i want to mention is we went ahead and went with the black inserts that originally came with the braid bestie um and the purple ones jen is going to contact the owner and have the purple ones replaced so right now. Luckily, i have black to go ahead and close it off, but the purple ones are on the way and um, because when i thought about it actually, if i was to get my logo, i still get the logo here, because the racks are removable. I mean i'll still think about it, but for right now it just looks clean and crisp with a plain leg yeah. So i have some hair right here that was purchased off of amazon. It'S like the um brown to platinum blonde ombre, so it has like a brownish dirty blonde at the top, a honey blind in the middle. Hopefully, i can see it in a platinum blonde at the bottom. So what i'll do is i'll, just spin it around and just start pulling pieces. You start from the bottom up. I didn't fully wrap it again, just to show y'all how to make use of it, but this is how it would look. So when a client first comes or prior to the client coming, if i already have the hair, they need i'll just go ahead and rack it and then, as i'm braiding, i'm just pulling pieces off and braiding it in pulling pieces off and breaking it in. And it's already separated for me. If i'm on the opposite side of the client's head, this has wheels. I can roll it over to where this is closer to me. I can spin it around get my braiding wax out of here edge control. My combs, like it's just a whole machine that can help me zip through my appointment, so i'm really really really excited to put it to you, so so excited um. This is a huge blessing, i'm thankful but yeah. This is my brother, that's literally my best friend, and that is it for today's video. I love you all and thank you for watching.
