and today we're going to start off today so let me bring my daughter on and we're going to start showing you what we'll be doing for this back to school hairstyle so come on so just introducing my my daughter and she is this is our hair right now right now our hair is in cornrows and this cornrows we actually did this cornrows a while back right so um the cornrows are not freshly done but of course i'm going to tell you how we came up with this cornrows how we did this cornrows so the first thing that we did was we used i have a ton of things that i'm going to show you right here so the hair that we're going to use today so the hair we're going to use today is we're going to use it's from authentic jumbo so this is authentic 2 x jumbo senegalese twist i've selected it on the castle you can look and see uh where to find it it's on the castle on amazon just click that image to 24h authentic now this 24 inch um jumbo senegalese twist is natural it's versatile is indispensable and it's a crochet braid so i'm going to show you what it looks like its eyes comes in different colors eyelashes you can style it in different ways you see how it's styled in different ways and this comes in different colors so this is what this one looks like right so you can see what it looks like it has a nice natural shine to it and it's well done and twisted well done the ends of it look like this okay and it's not going to unravel and the crochet hook it's a natural kinky hair material now in addition they also come in different sizes as i showed you this one is the 24 inches right to do the hair and as you see our hair has already been done so the first thing that i did when i did our hair was to section off our hair and i'm going to when you see my what i show you i'm gonna eyeline it so this is a great sectioning comb before when you want to do the hair and you want to get clean parts for any hair please please you can use this um that's beautiful i love the color it's beautiful okay so you want a good sectioning comb and this sectional comb is how i get clean parts for her this has been she's been wearing this for two weeks now about two weeks now three weeks almost three weeks almost three weeks so we're saying that we're just gonna put that crochet she's gonna wait for two more weeks and then we're done this year we usually would do six weeks but because we're doing back to school a lot of videos that's what we're going to do more so the first thing i want to do is i want to moisturize our hair and to moisturize our hair i'm going to be spraying the texas in san antonio texas state university um texas a m and rice university yeah so um yeah so those are the ones that she has been to and we are so glad if you look at the um information that i'm i was saying the first thing that we do is we're going to moisturize our hair whenever you're going to put the hair to protect your style you want to start off by moisturizing and i'm using the euro natural hair milk this is a very very moisturizing hair milk so you want to spray it really really good okay so that the hair will be and oh wow thank you vanessa vanessa i'm going to give you some flowers wow we have a whole bunch of people joining us right now thank you since here you can see i have moisturizer here with the hair milk and um thank you uh a white head i appreciate you lanita thank you so much okay so do close up now after using the hair milk i'll proceed to use the oil we're going to take the oil this is the uhuru natural oil and this oil is very very moisturizing so i'm going to put this all on a scalp just put it through the scalp because when you wear crochet hairstyle it can be very um if you're not taking care of your scalp initially sometimes it can be hard to be able to fit in your scalp wow thank you melissa i appreciate you melissa is like this is the fourth time yeah this is the first time you've been on my life this week thank you so much melissa also savorinka annie says what are you going to study biomedical engineering yep and then after that what are you studying dentistry yeah so she's studying we are looking forward to i am tired um we went to all these colleges and they were he didn't even try what i said i'm tired she said what did you say i said you didn't even drive you drove yeah yeah yesterday you drove she drove the whole way from and back i am telling her to drive because i wanted to learn how to drive and um be able to drive back and forth from college so she's like complaining no no actually you know what to be honest let me just be honest with you she never complained once and it was raining i didn't complain yesterday she didn't complain yesterday and stuff oh melissa i'm glad you got your book i'm so glad she didn't complain at all she was so good remember let's get the edges this is my favorite part yeah this is your favorite part i know so she didn't complain one bit and when went to visit university of texas san antonio three hours drive she didn't complain she drove coming back but i drove um going to so she didn't complain at all this is a favorite part so you guys can just use oils if you okay good so if you want to add something so what i usually do is at the ends of the hair i will add the hair grease okay so this is the hair grease you can also add the hair grease to the scalp it's okay it works great but i'm gonna add it to the ends of the hair and the ends of the i'm going to switch around the ends of the hair i'm going to actually flip it so let me show you what i did here because i don't want our hair to pull back here i added individuals right there okay so added individuals as you can see right there so what we're gonna do now is we're going to start off um i see melanie melanie says does the blend really assist with hair growth yes it does it does because it keeps the hair from drying out and breaking so it's very important for you to know that it keeps it from drying out and breaking so let me show you i want to show you something some people that don't know how to conroll i'm going to take one out and i'm going to detangle the hair and i'm going to quickly show you how to conroe for those that don't know how to conroll so we're going to come like that if you don't know how to congo you can also proceed to twisting the hair so you can see it's so easy the hair as long as you keep the air moisturized you see how the hair doesn't tangle and even after you do your crochet hairstyle it's very easy for you to go ahead and do a braid out and with our hair we only use this product and i'll show you what a braid out would look if we take it down like this okay so you can see it's nice and curly okay nice and curly so just the cornrow i'm gonna start midway it's so simple you just take three okay let's move close it okay you're just taking three strands like that make sure that if you need to detangle i'll show you what you can use to detangle the detangling brush and then when you get to the very end it's you can twist it up i usually don't braid the ends because when i braid the ends i don't like tangles so all i just do is that i just braid it up like this very easy or i just twist it up now bring it up i just twist it off like this very easy that keeps the hair from breaking and stuff and you can wear this stuff for a long time and as we are doing um we're weighing this out for a long time and then we're just gonna put crochet on it so what do i use when it comes to detangling the hair this is what we use we can use a detangling brush a detangling brush works really really well um they come in different colors this is just one of the colors that we have very cute and it comes in his own pouch like this so all the products you can see them um on the screen down and the list and stuff so now after you've taken care of the hair the next thing is what do you do with the ends of the hair get your crochet hook okay so you have this crochet hook i also have this crochet hook um because the hair is thicker you can use this one but because my hair is thicker what is the name on amazon my name on amazon is discovery natural um the name of the of the detangling brush is called studio limited studio limited detangling brush so studio limited detangling brush so what i'm going to do is i'm going to take our hair look closer okay so i'm going to take her hair and i will take the ends of the hair and i'm going to swoop it underneath okay thank you so much rebecca we have another rebecca that just joined us so let me turn around and show you all so we just take the hair from one end one end sweep it around and then i'm gonna hook it up on top over here okay you can hook it up right here okay just hook it up right there because my hair is longer that's why i'm doing this if i was shorter i'll just i'll not need to do that but i hear it's longer that's why i'm doing um this kind of action okay okay so now i'm gonna take it on the other side connect it and just hook it at the ends we're gonna repeat that hi mavis how are you doing i'm just repeating that alternating on both side okay so i'm going to be swinging around a lot i'm just gonna alternate this and look it like this okay just to secure it you could also braid it up and then tuck it in so if you want you do want to do that you can also take it you can also braid this if the person is wearing it down you could braid it but because if she's going to wear it upwards and stuff you might want to not do that okay so i'm just gonna take a couple and swing it over like that thank you donna watching all the way from california thank you so much so our hair is very very thick so that's why i have to be very strategic the way i do it just because of the thickness of our hair take that i'm gonna just put that in and pull that through how do you get our hair oh i want to give rebecca our flowers let's give a bit of flowers um can you use it okay i'm going to answer your questions thank you everybody for saying your question uh let me first answer melanie's said our hair is very soft and healthy thank you so much melanie and vern vernee says can you use it on braided hair yes you can use it on bread you can use the hair products on braided hair um how do i get her hair this way we do protective styles um we don't over manipulate our hair and i'm answering tisha's question we try not to over manipulate our hair which means we're not constantly combing and stuff she tries to eat as healthy as she can she's a teenager so she tries to eat as healthy as she can and stuff so um you can see how i'm saying it actually it starts to bunch up so you have to be very mindful when it starts to bunch up like this then you want to flatten it and then you're gonna you see i'm rotating it underneath so that it doesn't bunch up and that's because she has very very thick hair so we have to very strategic with it um okay so i'm just gonna take this and i'm gonna swing this over and pass this through okay so i'm passing it through i'm not pulling it through i'm just going to keep it like this then the other one i'm going to braid this down and just tuck this in underneath okay because she's gonna wear this um down and stuff so the key thing is showing you guys how the hair looks right let me put this one through also how are you doing you're doing good okay so we have braid we have packaged everything together i'm gonna grab the edge brush that's the egg brush what it looks like just to clean up our edges before i do that uh there's a product this is our brazilian remy 24 hour hold anti-static you can use this to hold down the hair so i'm gonna use this for our edges just gonna spray it and that just kind of holds down everything okay brush our edges real good okay and then we'll still lay our edges and stuff after we're done okay so we have done the care of the hair itself the next thing is now to start using the hair extension so as i said this is the authentic jumbo senegalese twist hair it is very a very good hair to use very very durable um hundred percent human hair so you're gonna give it to me when i want this is what it looks like you'll see very beautiful very nice so this is the loop you guys can see the loop is quite big like that okay wow sandman says hello sister we're from benton michigan harbour michigan what my daughters love doing here they are paying close attention not available if you have thick hair i would advise you not to do all back like i did trust me um i'll advise you to braid from this area to the middle and then braid from the back to the top and then braid everything going this way so that you don't have so much bunching up that's my advice to you now when it comes to installing the crochet hair all you have to do is take the hook i'm gonna use this hook pass it through like that take it through the hair this here is very very soft and then we're just gonna pass it like this okay and then pull it now you can see it's not too tight on my hair i'm going to repeat it again so i'm going to put it on this one so um let's get the hair you guys see how nice and fluffy this hair is this hair is very amazing find a hole for the hook and the hole is so easy to locate it's not tight at all thank you saint here oh they're from brooklyn and i'm gonna show you what it looks like so we're gonna take the crochet hook pass it underneath like this take it you see i'm gonna hook it up connect it like that close it pull it through like this and then i'm going to get the ends of it pass it through like that easily and this is jumbo and as i said you can get it in a smaller size this is like 12 inches for children um or if you want a shorter look to it and you can always unravel this if you want to to create that twist out look so i'm gonna do a couple more over here i'm leaving a finger with gap so i'm taking my finger leaving a finger with gap and i'm gonna put the crochet hook right over there connect it does it feel heavy i like how soft it is it's very very soft but you know sometimes some of the crow yeah some crochet here they'll they'll be hard and then if you buy crochet hair that is not soft like this and you use it on your hair what happens is that the fiber is going to dry out your own hair and we have experienced that before when we bought say you want to reuse it again just take it out and i'll show you i'll demonstrate at the end how we take how you can take it out and we preserve it and we use it so we just take out one or so so you you guys you guys really need to go and get you some trust me you will not regret it yeah i've used so many different hair um i love another thing i love about this hair is that number one it's very natural um they also have it so that you could do it yourself you don't have to go to the saloon to do it you could pretty much create this style yourself that's how easy they make it so it's not complicated at all um i think the most complicated part would be just creating your breathing pattern right yeah and even yeah even you know what even if you want to do the material which one is it if you want to do the um rubber band method where you section off your hair individually you could still use this hair this hair will work well i'm going to show you how to do that right we'll do that at we went grocery shopping this morning and how much was eggs like those 36 crates of eggs was like nearly ten dollars ten dollars with taxes it's crazy crazy she likes middle parts so we're probably gonna do middle parts and i'll show you how to create a middle part even though you did not create a middle part in here okay if you're going to do middle part you should probably x this braided pattern right here but we didn't because you want to wear this style for a while and then put crochet on top of it and wait for a while so that is another thing you can do to make your hairstyles more versatile is to create a breathing pattern that you can um they can wear out for a little bit maybe like two weeks and then put the extension and wait in for another two or three weeks or four weeks get six weeks of it of it when you're in college or in school you don't want to be you don't have time to be doing your hair all the time and we went to visit um college station university of texas no tex is the university of texas texas a m texas a m yesterday it was such a nice visit we saw so many parts of the school and this is our last year as a senior in high school when last year in high school last year in high school i lulika from britain hey i my my um nieces they live in britain too yes yeah we're getting to go to we will get to see them next week i'm so excited yes so they come dancing okay so um okay so we're just gonna continue with this um how do you care for your hair when it's in crochet so what is some things you do um oil the scalp definitely okay tell them what you're using so usually and i'm not gonna lie you have to spray oh yeah yeah yeah spray okay so i've been using a couple products and you know like sometimes i get lazy like i mean we all get lazy sometimes but usually if i want to quickly moisturize my hair it's feeling a little dry or a little you know dead um i use the quebec hair milk literally the only spray i've been using for the past couple months i use that spray on my hair then i use their oil too so i use that and then i oil it i massage it all in and i'm good you know like not too much not too little just doing what i need to make sure my hair is moisturized yeah because this summer what did you do this this one apart from us traveling see i was in summer school so why were you did you do it did you get bad grades you know because when you tell people why someone school they were like oh i was taking a bad grade i was taking college classes so you know i wouldn't have to do it once i get to college so i was taking a college course for government and economics for six weeks and um i didn't have a lot of time you know because college is like it takes a lot of time so usually after i take a shower or whatever i would quickly moisturize my hair because usually like i don't know why but whenever i take a shower and like it's steamy i feel like it dries out my hair so i take both of these yes the power duo and i just apply it on my hair and i'm all good yeah so i try not to like mess around with my hair a lot because then i start like shedding and stuff like that yeah this is looking really nice yeah i need to get a scissors or something okay i will get this yeah yes you guys look at that it's looking so nice wow i love it wow you guys look and if you get it in another color so this is the other color that we have okay so this is the other color that you we have and um and then we also have this blue color okay so i'm just gonna and this is a middle part right here so what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna start working with this part and stuff so this summer was and then on top of that she was also doing um applying to colleges applying to scholarships and stuff there's just so much stuff when i didn't go i went to college in this country but i was an international student so all the requirements that she is doing now i didn't even i didn't do any of it my dad just paid the money you know american american universities they like international people because we pay a lot oh my goodness they even get me started on how much i didn't pay my dad paid it thank god oh i'll share with love says you like the hair oh thank you sheridan you should get it for your daughters i know you have two little daughters is your youngest one i know your oldest one is she going to high school i think she's going to high school so we have a question um do you mix the colors by brenda brenda says do i mix oh i want to say hi to empress first first empress from washington dc thank you so much do you mix the colors i can um i can mix the colors and stuff um right now i i'm not going to mix the colors just because it's not the same length and it's going to look awkward so but if you have the same length you can mix the colors so you can mix it in different ways so this hair itself let me tell you more about the hair right so this hair comes in different colors and i'm going to show you right really nice no it looks you like that color yeah yeah yeah she likes all these gold gold colors um here's 30. 30 doesn't look too bad either i think i had a hairstyle with this color before yeah um here's an 33 which is like a light brown here's red 350 here is four and then there's 44 which is it has like a great like that i want that i want that because if you guys under your grain can you little bit of red ginger it sounds like ginger to it like a reddish tint of radishes like my friend she actually likes that kind of color so i'm gonna get it for her so she likes those kind of colors and here's the blue very vibrant here's burgundy which is all red yeah here's m1b30 and that one looks nice yeah that one looks nice oh purple oh i like the purple i really like the purple and the like so turned out she's more of like a deep brown yeah that's nice and they're really running out three left in stock yeah wow okay so i'm gonna fill this create our parts initial parts um look at you driving so we have done half of the hair in front so i've never done the back the back i'm gonna let it flow this way but we've done the side um i'm gonna do this other one uh like this so this one i'm gonna start it the same way if you notice we're doing we're hooking it in in the same direction so that it falls in this direction um location says please share the link to buy the hair when you guys this wooden braiding rack hair rack so this is a wooden braiding hair rack it comes in this case very durable so what you can do is that instead of telling the person that you're doing the hair for instead of saying oh can you um um can you i'm trying to remove it can you hold it can you do this can you i mean yes can you hold this can you take it out okay let me get you you want to see this i'm strong you're stronger can you get it out can you do this can you do that all you just do is just arrange all the hair on that wooden hair rack so she's going to show you right now i always see stylists with these yeah so here it is yeah and then you can hook it up to the wall if you're a stylist you can hook it up to the wall it has this connecting thing right here or you can also let it stay let it stand so it does have a standing and nearly hit your face girlfriend and so all the hair just take it you're just gonna hook the hair okay let's demonstrate that okay next time just click on it so it opens up and stops okay yeah okay so this is the hair itself very beautiful beautiful beautiful and all you just do is just take the hair remove it from the um thing and then we start hooking it up so let me do this and that makes it so much easier and faster when you are doing the hair so much easier and faster so she's going to show you how she does it while i keep on doing forgiving and you can space it out as much as you want just make sure you space it out according accordingly right so i don't have too much gap if you have fine hair this jumbo will work best for you time how many times did you say time okay so i'm gonna show you guys how i am connecting doing the back and stuff so we're pretty much done with the front so my daughter and i were at the same height so looks like i can't even see the top of my head okay yeah duck so we're gonna bend down so you see this is the part you see how full and nice this hair is you can almost never see her so what i'm going to do is that i'm going to take this hair so i'm going to move up forward so that you all can see i'm going to take this here now this is where i want to create the part right so i'm going to take this here i'm going to take this side that's why you don't do when you do crochet you don't make it so tight i'm going to take this here i'm going to connect it together like this i'm going to start from the middle part of this area connect it with the middle braid okay hopefully you guys can catch it so i connected to the middle part of this one see two braids the high you can see it now we're connecting the middle braid and the middle braid and we're taking the hair i'm going upwards okay connecting the braid and then i'm sweeping this to the back so i'm standing behind her why am i standing behind that because i want the hair to fall behind in the middle and i pull it that creates the part so if she brings up her head like this okay you can see you see how that creates the part you won't know that there's um actually this one runs all the way down like that you will not know okay so we're gonna do the back we're gonna start working on the back right now i think i'm gonna do more to the side a little bit more to the side and then we'll start walking on the back but that is how you do a middle part when there's no when we forgot to do a middle part um thank you and for example princess the hair looks so good the hair is good i'm not gonna lie it's it's good it's good hair soft hair very durable very light gives you that volume you want especially if you have like thin hair or if you just want volume if you just want to be a queen for a day a quick a queen a queen for a day so i'm gonna start walking on the back section okay let's just i'm just going to connect my back so i'm going to swing that around and you guys can see what i'm doing with the back so remember as i told you if you have thick hair you can you can even see me if you have thicker hair it's best for you to create your braids going to the middle of your head and then connect that way okay so let me get the hair extension so we're gonna do the back i'm gonna swing that around and i'm gonna show you how i do the back so for the back this area right here i'm going to do that last but what you just want to do is just want to take the hair and we're just going upwards like this and swinging it swinging it through and this is very even if your hook gets messed up you can just take your hand like this and just pull it through see how easy it is it's so easy to do and you see how the hair falls down so the key thing is you want the hair to fall in the direction so for this one i want i want it to fall going down so i'm just going to go here going diagonally like this you see i'm going okay i'm no longer going this way i'm gonna pull it through like this connect that and go like this and it's gonna fall down so we just repeat the same thing just keep on going and because it's so it's much bulky and um jumbo it's very forgiving um even if you make a mistake um and your braiding pattern is gonna hide all those mistakes and stuff okay this is beautiful so you can get this in diff this hair extension you can get in different colors um the colors are going fast as my daughter showed you guys there was one that was just four left so get it don't say oh i think i'm gonna get it tomorrow no get it today um also you have the shorter ones if you don't like long hair um you can get the shutter 12 inches those ones are also available in similar colors and vibrant colors very
