Another Braided Ponytail.. But Blonde

You also got a video where she she did a whole little like switch from here. She went like this hey guys. What'S up welcome back to my channel, my name is abby. Hair and good content over here says: okay, so, yes, i did go on another hiatus, but with good reasoning. This time and honestly, i'm working on stopping this apologetic thing where i apologize for something saying that i'm going to fix it, and then i don't because i end up going on another hiatus by the time i'm able to apologize anyways. So i love y'all and that's what matters and i'm here to stay, i'm just i'm just i'm working it out. Okay, i decided i wanted to film today, i'm on this journey of like trying to figure out what to film, and so now. I'M at this point, where i'm just like i'm just gon na film everything and show y'all everything and stop thinking so much about it. Because then i go through like this imposter syndrome, type of thing, where i'm like. Okay, this video is not good enough and this other person is doing something really well blah blah. But that's not why y'all follow me. Y'All follow me because i'm abby abby brings a different perspective, her own perspective, and that's all that matters and i'm ranting, so we're gon na continue. Today'S video is going to be focused on a sleek bag ponytail, as you can see from the title and our cover picture and all that our youtube thumbnail, i'm already losing the youtube lingo. But i'm doing this ponytail because my hair has been acting up and i feel like i'm just ready to put it away for at least two to three days until i figure out what i can do to fix it before i dive into this actual ponytail. I did go ahead and blow dry, my hair, it was a very light blow dry, as you can see like my hair is not flat, but it is straight enough to be able to be put back to blow dry, my hair. What i do is out of the shower. Well, in the shower. I have my hair twisted up in at least eight to ten twists. Then i get out of the shower and i let it air dry and once it's about eighty percent dry, i go ahead and in each section i blow dry, my hair enough, so that it is manageable. I want to show you guys how i go about mixing the hair that i have together to get this really nice blend that matches almost perfectly to the color of my hair. I have this outre expressions hair, so i have it in the number 27 up 27 and then i also have the number four. So basically, what i do is that i have the two pieces and i kind of pile one on top of the other and i split it in half. It doesn't have to be perfect and i like to work in smaller sections like this. So i'm going to put this away and then all i'm doing is dividing that hair and then stacking it and repeating this process. So i divide and i stack divide and i stack and the key to this is to hold the hair. Can you guys see that hold the hair like this, and then i put my thumb over it because my thumb's aligning is what tells me that the hair is in like a middle piece or like equal state. So i stack it where the thumbs meet divide again and then i kind of like check right stack again so here boom thumbs stack. You guys see that, like some parts are a little dark, but when it's in the braid you're not going to see it as much and i feel like it goes really well with my hair color, then once i have my entire section of hair already mixed what I'M going to do is start dividing it on my rack and i'm going to do bigger pieces into the smaller pieces. So i have my first two pieces. I'M actually gon na split this one in half again all right. So now that my hair is prepped. Let'S go through the products that i'm going to be using to do this ponytail the first product is shining jam, and this is pretty much going to work as my mold mold that doesn't sound good. This is going to mold my hair into the ponytail and make it stay okay, and then i'm going to follow up with got to be glue spray, and this is going to really hold this shine and jam in place to make sure that you know. I don't have any flyaways or anything like that with neither product. Do i go crazy. It'S just a temporary hairstyle, so i don't use a ton of it. Okay, so the first thing i'm gon na do is try to figure out where i want this ponytail to lay somewhere here right. I'M going to take a good amount of this, and i'm going to just put it all over: try not to like hit the baby hairs too much, because i am going to pull those out in a little bit. Make sure you put some back here. All that, and now i'm going to take this out and actually brush through boom, i may need my mirror, we're just gon na trust that the lord is with us. Okay, unfortunately, the lord was with us, but this sound for this portion of the video was not good at all. So here i am doing a voiceover for you guys. I do have a video that explains in more detail and like in a slower way how i go about doing the braid, but basically what i'm doing is feeding in that kangalon hair into my ponytail. I'M actually linking that video, where i explain a little bit better. Above so go ahead and check that out after you have finished this video, and it's also going to be in the description box for you, guys, okay and i'm gon na be a little extra today and i'm gon na go a little long. Oh my god! It'S looking so good, so here is where i'll add more yeah i like to stop around here, so i have enough hair so that i can add a perm rod or two and add some curls for me. That just makes it look a little bit more natural than it typically would. If i just left this hair straight, i'm actually extremely impressed at the fact that i was able to do this in one take. Usually, i have to start this braid over at least twice because it doesn't work, but you know the good lord was with us good. Lord was with us because look look a cute long! Extreme braid is giving tomb raider it's giving um. I was it's giving beyonce what don't be honest. I got a video where she she did a whole little like switch from here. She went like this and i'm just going to swoop them. However, i like them, so it's giving thanksgiving and then the last step before i add my perm rods to the end of my hair, is i'm going to take that got to be spray and i'm going to spray i'm going to be a little generous. Braid is complete, curls are intact. All i did was take a perm rod, well, two perm rods and i curled the ends of that hair around that dipped it in some hot water and then when it was dry, i removed them, and i have these results. I'M not gon na lie. I'M really impressed with the way my hair blends so well with these colors, and you can't even tell where my hair stops like. I know that number 27 and number four are my colors, but like like they're, my colors, you know what i'm saying. I hope that this video was really helpful for you guys, and i hope you enjoyed that.
