Wow, that's really retro, hey guys, it's your girl, lexi and welcome back to my channel. I am so happy to say that i am officially back here on youtube. Okay. Yes, this is not a farce or farce. This is not a fast alarm. I am now back here on youtube. I know that you guys have lots and lots of questions, but i already recorded my q a video, but i didn't like how i came out. You already know virgo perfectionist me if i don't like something: i'm not gon na post it so that video will be coming soon, uh, just an update on my life and answering some of you guys questions what to expect on my channel. I'M gon na be posting hair. Tutorials vlogs get ready with me, um, pranks, anything that you guys want to see. I will do and i will be doing you know just a little bit of everything, so you guys stay tuned for that. You guys, i'm honestly just so excited to be back here on youtube, because i love just sitting down and talking to you guys and, as you guys can tell, i have a camera period. So you know the video is just going to be bomb okay, but i'm super excited to be back on here. Like i was saying - and you know you guys are about to watch me struggle to do these easy braids, but before we get into this video make sure you guys are subscribing and turn on the post notifications. Looking like fresh out the shower, i did kind of binge watch a little bit of a tv show. So that's why my hair is looking a little dry, so we're going to detangle my hair. So this is my hair care products which you guys support me and we're going to detangle my our hair with this detangler, and this is like a leave-in conditioner, slash, detangler and then, of course, we're going to put some oil in our hair because we need to Make sure that our hair is protected and moisturized under your braids, because it's a protective style so we're going to go ahead and do that right now. So i'm just gon na split my hair down the middle and always putting your hair in four sections. Four sections makes everything easier, so i'm just gon na start back here and sorry. If i'm looking right here, because my vanity is right in front of me, so i'm looking in the mirror, so i'm gon na take my con. I'M gon na take my detangler and get like a nice little bit on there. That'S probably too much but hey you can never have too much. Am i right? Am i right and then i'm going to use? Where did the brushes go, because i was just using it excuse the hair in the brush? Okay, but i'm going to be using my i'm going to be using my krillin easter brush. My curling is a detangling brush. This is a this is available on my website, and this honestly makes the detangling process 10 times easier. I need some of this on my ends. Hello. You got ta get the ends. Girl got two okay. If you do not know how to detangle your hair, you start from the ends and work your way up. Please i hate when i see people start like this, because you're pulling your hair so just start by detangling, and i don't know if i'm gon na turn this into a tutorial or just bring you guys along with me. While i'm doing my hair, i don't know what it's getting see, how easy i'm just like gliding through my hair, like period uh yeah, do not sleep in my hair products because excuse me, hello, do not sleep in my hair care products because they are the bomb Dignity, so i think i have some ah yeah. I do okay, so i'm gon na put some olive oil on my hair. You can never go wrong with olive oil and i'm gon na just really make sure that i focus this on my ends because baby the ends where did that just come from yo what the heck? Where did this just come from? Look ciao. I don't know this is too it's we're getting real good about here. Let me just wipe my hand off. I think that might be hair. Oh, it is hair dye. Oh my gosh! That'S that's! Hair dye that i just spill everywhere. That'S so cute! We love it now, i'm just going to take some oil and really just start from my ends and work. My way up always make sure that you put some type of hydrating product in your hair before you put it in a protective style, whether that is braiding or wigs, because having your hair really dry is never the way to go. So i'm just going to do this the same thing that i've been doing on same thing. I'Ve been doing i'm just going to do the same thing to the rest of the sections and i'm going to come back when i'm done, because i'm pretty sure you guys don't want to just sit here and see me detangle my hair, okay y'all. So now that we have our hair, nice and detangled and then of course i had to put some type of oil in it now we're going to start to blow dry, so i'm just going to do the same thing and work in four sections. I have a lot of hair, so this definitely helps a lot and we're just going to begin blow drying. Now you don't have to get your hair as straight as possible, but you just want your hair to be blown out and i'm using this crusty dusty busted. Okay um, i was about to say flat iron. What is this called a blow dryer? Oh my gosh, we're gon na be using this crusty dusty blow. Dryer, okay and i'm just gon na - be using this comb to kind of help me blow out my hair and yeah. Let'S get this started y'all. My hair is real dude stuck in the flat iron. If i see flat arm one more time, i'mma hurt myself. No, i'm not guys, but you you guys see this. My hair is literally stuck in there. I don't know how that do. Y'All see the hair that is cut. Wait. Is that my mirror, or does the camera, look like that? Okay, that was just my mirror. I had to think look down. Do y'all see that hair that it took golden hot? I'M suing you because you're just trying to take off my hair, and that was rude. Okay y'all. So we got one section done, that's what it's looking like and go. My hair is getting long. Okay, um i've been keeping up with trimming my ends, so that really does help with. Let me guys, let me know if you guys want a video on how to have healthy hair and long hair does not mean healthy hair. So let me know if you guys want a video on that, but i'm gon na just do the same thing to the rest of my sections of my hair and then we're going to start braiding. Oh okay, you guys. So this is what my hair looks. Like all blown out, and can we say the shrinkage is really real. You guys because look at how long my hair has gotten - and i literally just cut it, i'm so sorry i got too caught up in my show, so i didn't get any extra clips of me blow drying my hair, but i mean it's just me: blow-drying, my Hair so now i'm going to show you guys how i part my hair and then we can get right into the tutorial cut okay. So i'm going to show you guys what i use to do my hair when i do braids. So, of course, you need to invest in one of these combs. You see how the top one is like really for parting, and i oh, what is that? It was some dried up gel in here anyways. This is really good for braiding um. Of course you have to have clips, i just got these from. I just bought a wig, so these came with the wig and of course you guys know that you guys can get this from the beauty supply store. I like to use shine and jam, not um. Yeah, i'm really tired of myself. I don't even know what i'm trying to say, but this is the um jam that i use it. It'S okay, it's not really order. I'M trying to find out which jam is the best. So i made my i might make my own jam. You know stay tuned guys and the hair that i use is this hair right here. I don't know how many packs i'm gon na end up using, and this is what um the little rods that i'm going to be using. This is the 11 16 and, if you like to braid or if you braid your hair, a lot, please invest in a braiding rack, because, honestly, it makes it so much easier to just have your braid. I mean your hair on the little thing and yeah get it just in that it's ten dollars on amazon go get you once this okay, so you guys we're gon na get right into the tutorial. So for how i braid the back of my hair, i take two mirrors and i put them against each other. I know that you're not supposed to do that, because people say it creates a portal or whatever the case may be the babes. How else am i gon na part, my hair cuz, my mom can't do it my grandma can't do it. My dad can't do what my brother can't do it. My sister can't do it my cousin can't do it. My auntie can't do it. So that's just what it's gon na be yeah! Okay, so i'm gon na i'm gon na go get the mirror and then we're gon na be back okay, you guys! So we got our mirror and i don't even know exactly how many braids i'm going to do or want to do so. I'M going to just let y'all see the back of my head. Okay, so all i do well, depending on how big you want your braids. That'S how you would depend on your parting. I want to have large braids, but you know not too big. I can't even really see the back of my head like that. Okay, now i can see okay, i definitely want the parts bigger than this okay y'all. I don't think it's gon na work see, i don't think, that's gon na work, because this is too much and i'm making a video okay. So, to part my hair, what i'm gon na do is i'm gon na put half of my hair up, not in a tight ponytail. So that way, if i need to take care of out of it, i won't be pulling on my hair. Yes, i know i have a big head. Do not tell me any comments, so i'm taking my little comb that i mentioned earlier and i'm just going to start parting. My hair parting is really like self-explanatory, depending on how big you want your braids. That'S how big you do your parts and whatever have you. I don't really know how it's, how else to explain that. But as you guys see off my mirror right here - and this is how i'm able to part the back of my head - because i can really see like this, so i want my braids to be big, but not too big. So we're just going to see what it do and i'm gon na come back when i'm done parting, my hair and i'm gon na show you guys how i do my braids okay, you guys so i know it looks ghetto because it is. Can you please focus on what you need to be focusing on babe? I know it looks ghetto because it is, but that is what the hair looks like and now we're going to start braiding. I know that the line doesn't look too even, but, as i braid i'm going to make it look better, please excuse if you hear yelling, my family is crazy. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to section off my first braid, which is going to be right here and then i'm going to clip the rest of this hair up right here and i'm going to put a little bit of gel of that shining. Gem, i'm gon na put it on my hair and, of course, on the part you got to and put it around your hair as well and i'ma just comb through this section. One time - and i also put a little bit of gel on my ends as well. Just the way they don't be, oh, that is way too much just so that way they won't be poking out in the braid, because that is never cute guys, i'm just going to comb through my hair one last time and then we're going to start braiding. So what i'm going to do is take two pieces. I don't know if y'all can even see i'm gon na take two pieces and then i'm gon na take two pieces braid down once and then with my middle finger right here can y'all see. I don't know if y'all can see, i can't really tell in the mirror and then i'm gon na, take my piece of hair and i grab it with my middle finger and then i just continue braiding down i'm gon na take another piece of hair. With my middle finger and then braid down just checking in it's two hours later and guess what i only have three braids done after all that time, i only have three braids done. It'S really just departing for me, honestly, braiding! Your hair is not that hard. It'S just the parting, but i'm struggling so we're just gon na keep going. My back is hurting so bad, but we gon na keep going now. Okay, guys so do not mind the outfit change, but i'm gon na show you guys real quick, how i do it while i'm doing like the front part of my hair. So, of course, you got ta, get your gel and put it around the area that you're gon na be braiding. Of course, we're gon na take some baby hairs out, because baby baby hair is gon na be light. Okay, after the gel is everywhere. I like to take my curling set a tangling brush and just go through my hair one time, and then i'm gon na put a little bit more gel on here. Okay, so i just put a little bit more gel, and now i'm just gon na take my comb and comb through again gon na make sure your hair is nice and slick because we're giving the girls beneath the game. Okay. So now that we have that um got ta, make sure got ta make sure cause baby one thing about it. Can you focus on my face? Please one thing about it: when them edges get caught up in that braid they ain't coming out, you can. You can just forget about it: it's not coming out sis okay, so i just put my hair in half and then i take my two sections right. Then i get a piece of hair and put this right here and then take a little bit more gel on here. Okay, then i braid hold on. Let me zoom in a little bit, so you guys can see better okay. So i have my two pieces right here and then i just take some of the hair and i braid it oh hold on. Let'S start over, so i'm taking my two pieces right here and do not worry if you do not get it the first time, because when i first started doing my own hair, i was lost too, but just keep watching videos and keep practicing and you will get It girl, okay, okay, yo. I promise i am not on nothing. This is just my personality and y'all will see how freaking goofy. I am okay, if i say okay, one more time, somebody please smack me, okay, so we it says it again. We got our two pieces, we're gon na braid down just a little bit and with this middle finger right here, i'm gon na grab my hair and i'm gon na put it like this and then i'm gon na braid the rest of the hair into the braid. Like this, oh got, ta get them edges back out because baby trying to get into the braid like since no i need you all right now. This is what wait. Okay, i missed the piece, so we got to do it over again, y'all two pieces again. I wanted to really focus on my hair. Okay, two pieces take a little piece of hair and we're gon na braid down make sure you braid tightly to have a nice grip on it. Now we take our piece of hair with this middle finger and we just let me let me do this over one more time, y'all one more time child. Can we even get to the next part. I got ta start over. I mess myself up: y'all, okay, tip 67 two pieces gon na braid down a little bit. Take our piece of hair. Attach her then we're going to braid the rest attempt 77 000 million gazillion at this point, yeah i'm gon. Na be honest. I don't know what i'm doing. I really don't, but we still gon na be looking cute hold on see i'll, be worried about the wrong things. Is this part even straight? Is it given what just needs to be this one? I can't do my own hair because i'm such a perfectionist about my hair - it's not even funny yo yo, i'm getting real frustrated. I i'm i am i'm getting real frustrated right now, because it it's just the braiding is just not braiding. You know what i'm saying the braiding is just not braiding like girl. What are you doing? I started this. I want to say it seven and it's 10 13 y'all and i only did three braids four still y'all. That'S ridiculous. I would have thought i would have been done by now, because i'm like oh these big ash and these braids are short like look, these don't even pass my breasts. They like right at the top, so i'm like. Oh this one's gon na. Take me like two three hours: no, i'm only on my fourth braid and it's been two or three hours ghetto and i'm only keeping this hairstyle in for like two days so we'll see how long we want to keep this in, because you know i i got Ta switch the looks up. I can't just keep giving the girls the same thing. You know what i'm saying. Okay, so now for the low end part. I just take two rubber bands. Can you focus please for the end part of the hair i so i just keep braiding down a little bit past of what i want to do. Then i just line it up with the other braid that i did and i take my two little rubber bands and then we're just going to tie it. Y'All can't see, go and tie it up. Tie it up. This lighting looks so bad, but it's okay, because tomorrow we're gon na look cute. I don't even have no alfred outfit girl. I don't even have no outfit, but it's cool. I'M really thinking about doing my hair over there, because i cannot stand like y'all excuse to get a mess, but this is how i've been doing my hair on my knees and my back hurts so bad okay, but this hair's not gon na, be cute, though um She'S gon na be cute okay, so i'm gon na come back when i'm doing the two sections on top of my hair up here, because i have to finish doing this in the back and my back hurts so freaking bad girl. So i'm gon na come back and do those with y'all so pray for me, another 10 hours so hold on it's 10. 16 right now. So let's see what time i get done with this row, you guys it is currently three. Can you not focus on my face? It is currently 3 11 right now and i still have to do the top part of my hair, but i'm actually really liking the way that this is coming out and i'm super super excited to see the final result. So i'm debating debating whether if i want to go to sleep and finish this part of my hair in the morning, because this is probably like six braids two on the back two at the i mean four at the top, so i don't know i'm really really Tired, so i'm probably gon na go to sleep, you guys, okay, guys, so i'm actually gon na come back tomorrow because, like i said, it's currently 3 a.m. Right now - and i know you guys are probably like girl. The last time you checked in it was like 10 something yes, i know i got caught up in watching this movie. That was like two or three hours, so kind of was just sitting there and i totally forgot. I was doing my hair. It took way longer than i expected, but i was having second thoughts, but i actually think it's gon na look really really cute. So, oh, the forehead is definitely foreheading. Okay, so i'm just about to wrap my hair up and go to sleep so i'll, see you guys in the morning. Okay, you guys good morning. It is the morning time. Sorry, if i look crusty, i just woke up not even 10 minutes ago, and it is 9 10.. Please focus it's 9 10. So we're about to get started and finish this hair um. I think i only have six braids left. I want to do four right here and then two in the back so um, let's just get this over with, because your girl is done. Okay, i'm tired of doing this honestly, okay, you guys so i'm finally done with my hair - and it is currently 10 29. 10 30, so that took me an hour and a half to do six braids, but this is how my hair is looking i'll show you guys the back and all the different parts. Now the only thing with this hairstyle is that you can't put it in other. In any other hairstyle like with box braids, you can do different hairstyles, but with this i feel like you just just have to wear it down because, like how else could you wear this hairstyle? Because the braids are so big and they're short, but now that i'm done, of course, i'm just going to take some mousse and literally drench, my hair in it like this is an essential step that you have to do after your braids are done just gon na Change sorry from looking right here, because my mirror is right there and then i'm gon na take some got to be spray and just spray it on my braids and then i'm going to tie my hair down with a do-rag and then we're going to curl the Ends so that way our hair can set while um we're curling our ends. So now we're going to do the ends of the hair, but i'm just going to cut the hair a little bit just this is going to make it easier. So i'm just going to cut the extra piece of hair, i'm probably going to not end up using all this, but you know rather have more hair than no less and i'm going to just go down in this motion. So it doesn't look so jagged. Okay, you guys so i got my boiling water right here, my camera, oh my camera's, not gon na die. I don't know why it's flashing like that. Okay, so again, this is what i'm using. This is the 11 6 um i'm gon na cut this open, and all i'm gon na do is just wrap it like this, oh twist, it like them and i'ma just do this to all of them and dip them in my little uh cup that i have. Oh my gosh, this hairstyle is going to be so cute y'all period. Okay, i just want to show you guys me dipping it in there and i'll, probably let it sit in there for like a good 15 10 seconds. So it can really like you know, get curly or whatever. Okay, that's very hot, and now i'm just going to take my towel. Sorry if the lighting is crazy and then boom they're, not as curly as i want them to be, but they're cute period. So i'm just gon na do the other side and i'm gon na come back when i'm all done: okay y'all.
