Hi this is your girl Sophie, and you know what I want to get my hair braided, but I don't want to sit for hours and horrors and get my hair braided. So I have decided to make a parade wave and I'm gon na show you guys how I do it and well. I started it already, but I'll show you as I go along and I'll show you the finished product and everything see you know this is my mannequin Sam and what I'm doing is I you I'm using a mesh cap and I just I just pin it pin Right around so it doesn't move around on the mannequins head and I started putting the braids in. I want a little bit of blue to be peeping through at the end. So when all the black covers it, this blue would be peeping through. So I'm using a lot needle and what I do is I put the lock needle through the mesh like that, and then I get my hair and I take up just a little amount and I'm doing twist it's not a rope twist. It'S just a loose twist because I want it straight and nice when I'm done so you loop, the hair through you, pull through one end of the braid like that, then you start, you start plucking. So you do it three strand braid at the root and then you start twisting so I'm just doing a regular two strand twist and with a little twist because another one stick, my needle through my here, three strand, braid separating two and twist just like that. So I'll come back when I reach about up here and show you and then when it's all finished I'll, come back and show you some more again so stay tuned, okay guys. So this is the finished product. It'S now ready all that. So what I did I set up a base underneath because I'm gon na I'm going to hot water it and that's the end of the hair and the mannequins head have to be all the way back like that, like that, so I'm gon na pour hot water On her head, no hot water and I'm just gon na pour pour the hot water. Yes, like that, okay guys, so the wig is finished, and this is how it looks - and I think I like it. This is the end result. That'S the back. You see my peekaboo blue around here, it's long and it's nice and it's light light light light like really really light, so I just tried it on so you guys can see how it looks on me and if you can see the front I didn't I I Need to like put some edge, control and stuff in it, and so that I can get it. You know to look nice and sleek. My hair is underneath it by the way I don't have a stocking job or anything underneath it. So my hair was just in a raft, so my hair looks like a rat nests under there, but the whole focus is the way that I want to show you how how it looks so tell me if you, like rate comment and subscribe I'll, put information down Below in the information box, so you guys can inbox me or make comments and I'll get back to all your questions and queries. Thank you for watching, okay. So what you can do like when the wig is finished, you can leave the front your hairline right around it. Oh and then you can do little braids on your hairline. Just you don't blend it in really well and stop because it's not a lace front wig. So you're gon na have this little part right here. You see that this little part right here, I'm just gon na put my edge control on it, but you can braid single braid around yours and to blend it in some more. So that's all, but it looks great you

70’s Fashion &Hair Channel: hello sophique!! I love your video!! and I used to wear floor length braids!!lol... and finally stopped wearing them last year after 16 years of wearing them off and mostly on!! I braided my hair myself and it would take me a week to create that style, and now id like to make a wig with long lenth braids!

BlkAmerPncS: Oh yes!!!! I will be doing this next weekend. I'm tired of doing my hair own hair for 8 to 12 hours. This is so much easier. I'm sooo glad I found this video. Thanx.

India Hawkins: im in so much aaww over this video!!! thank you so much for posting this for us to enjoy and utilize. WOW i can't wait to do this. Yes, I love this "lazy wig". I don't view it as a lazy wig. it is a wig that looks so real as if you sat through the entire process. ugggghhhh this is so awesome!!!! :-) again, THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO #subscribed   #videoliked

Clarence Williams: im so glad i saw this tutorial because i want to see how long can my hair grow by not getting any sew ins or braid extensions. i been making my own wigs but i want braids and i always wondered can i make one out of doing braids or twist and you inspired me. thank you so much for being detailed and very neat with your work.

Latrelle williams: This is beautiful!!! I can't wait to try it!!!. I love it!!!! Best idea ever!!! And i just made my first wig on sunday!! With a hot glue gun!!! This is my new 2nd project

QUEENANN CREATE: AWESOME!!! I am going to try and make me one..blessings

Vernessie M. Joseph-Burbank: awesome job- that is gorgeous

Gloria Amankwah: Good job girl im not experienced with using the hook so got myself a lace wig. Is cheaper to do it yourself than to buy already braided hair spent like 50 dollars buying t-pin, lace front wig, clips, mannequin, stand and even added gel to it. Find out some online stores sells them from 300-500 dollars for a big box braided hair. I got to save the rest of my money

yurika975: Any suggestions on the wig cap? I would like to make this. I love the splash of blue. But my fave color is purple and it'd be a cool look for the summer.

Maritza Prince: wow this is amazing! do you sell them? if so how can I order one?

antoinette jitta: This is a ver nice idea very helpful

IDoHairIDoNails: this is a great idea, how many bags did u use on this wig,and also is this wig u made heavey, and how would u keep it on instead of taking it off everyday?

TAMMY BLANCO: love this do you sell these units

TAMMY BLANCO: love this do you sell these units

Picking Belle: awesome I want to try this with kinky twists

yurika975: wow really creative. I think I might try this. You can take your time and get the look you want. I take it it's a weaving cap right?

Leigh-Ann Carey: I love this video Sophique. What needle is that? Love from SA.

IDoHairIDoNails: can a spadex or net cap be used for this project

70’s Fashion &Hair Channel: what makes the hair stay twisted? also im your new subbie!!!

Denise Lindsey: how do you cover the band so its not showing in the front?

yurika975: One more question please? Is this the one that has the fish net type of look to it? I know they have some with smaller holes. Just want to make sure I get the right one. I think I could take my time and make it.

missknottylocs: Oh my gosh thank u for the video. Really cool

chokolatgurl: Unfortunately not as great as yours. *sigh* I'm not done yet, but it's taking me FOREVER! I got the cap that you suggested, but my latch hook is hard to get thru the mesh (I have the same one you're using), plus the hair twists as I try to start doing the two-strand twists, so that slows down the process too. You make it look SO easy, but for me, it's nowhere near that simple. I'm going to finish it, but it's a long process for me. I'll let you know how it turns out when I finally finish :-)

itsxymomma: love this

Kevin Winborn: Mann I need to find somebody that I can pay to make me one of these wigs. Fr I love that

Nonye Ehiguese: Thank You Thank you so much for sharing....Have a big Youtube hug. I really love braids but my edge does not like them ;). This is my solution.

Peru Jackson: Love it so much so easy..what kinda cap

MrsK Hillman: Good job!

Armande Vana: Hello you just look beautiful with your wing, can you just do a video to show us how you put it? I want to try it cause my hair are too short and i cant do some braid on my front how can i do? Thank you
