Two French Braids With Ribbon, How To, Cute Girl Hair Style, (Video 3)

I had a subscriber Lyndsey Clark. Thank you for subscribing asked me if I could do a French braid on both sides of the head with ribbon. So that's what we're doing? Okay, so you're gon na have like a rat tail comb to part it with a brush. I, like the wet brush a pretty big clip, some bobby pins, to hold the ribbon at first some rubber bands for the end and then here's your ribbon. I just tied three different colors together and one knot and I would say, use about two feet of ribbon. My yellow and white is a little bit longer because I didn't have enough Brown, but you're gon na want to have two of these, so total you'll need four feet of ribbon. Okay, so first I parted it down the middle of her head like this, and I didn't do a straight line like this. I kind of did a jig tag like this back and forth, really small to create kind of a subtle part, because I don't really like a straight part. Something like that. Then I took another part here, a triangle part and I parted the same on both sides, and I just have this clipped already like that, so that I'm going to put the ribbon right here in here. Okay, so I'm just going to put it right here and you don't need to worry if you can see it right now, because I'm going to take the bobby pin out once I start the braid, don't worry! Okay, so that covers it all pretty well and don't mind her ugly dye job. This is an old mannequin, okay, so we're going to start by just doing a regular three strand braids like I've shown in other videos, and then I've picked up one. So I'm going to add a little bit of hair and I'm going to take the white strand out of the mix and it's going to come over like this. I remember always pinch with your thumb hold with the fat of your thumb and your middle finger. Take some more hair on this side. Okay, now I'm going to add the brown. If I can get it there, we go we're just trying to lay the brown on the top so that you see mainly the ribbon and then I do this cross this over grab. Some hair to incorporate and I'm pinching with my thumb and I'm going to find the yellow it's somewhere under here here it is and it's going to just go on top and if this isn't working for you like, I don't really like the way. This is looking. I'M going to actually grab the ribbon first and then put the hair on top or underneath and now I can take that bobby, pin out okay. So I'm going to take the hair again and I'm going to put the white ribbon over like that and then take some hair smooth it out. I'M trying to make all the hair go underneath that ribbon, so you could still see the ribbon there. We go add in some more hair. This is just going to go underneath and if your ribbons come off a little bit, you can just twist it so that it's more on top, I'm just going to lay this ribbon right. On top of the hair like that, and if it's easier to put the ribbon on top of the head, so you can see the hairdo that I'm kind of like folding it. I don't know if you can see that roll out, but I'm folding it like this. Okay, so the hair is pretty much gone now, but what's neat is you can keep going I'm going to actually stop right about here? Okay, so you take a rubberband tie it off, because I want to have at least the yellow and the white left to make a little bow. Unless you don't want to make a bow, you don't have been able okay. So then, I would take the white and wrap it around and make a knot like so to cover the little our van and then you're just going to tie a bow and you can cut the bottoms off if you want and you can cut the brown off As well and then like, if you see any little pieces, that don't look wonderful, just pull them out and make them look a little bit better like this here there now I'm going to do the other side and I'll probably speed through the middle for you. But I just want to show you how I will start this side there. You go. That'S so great.
