All right you guys what's up and welcome back to my channel, my name is julissa and in today's video I am going to be attempting a fishtail Pony. Look for you guys, alright, so just let's go ahead and get into it. So this look. It'S actually inspired by this lady. I can't I don't know if I'm saying her name right, but I'm gon na put her Instagram right here, but this I saw me gold and she did like this fishtail braid. It look and she actually did it where she had to fish braids one on one side, one on the other and she did one where she just had a long fishtail in the back, and so I've never done a fish Patel before so I'm gon na go Ahead and show you guys right now how I braided this and give you guys some tips on how, if you don't know how to do a fish braid, this tutorial will tell you: okay, alright, okay, so this is the front of the braid and you want the Front to look similar to the back of the braid, so if you do it the way that I was doing it earlier, you would have this hair. You would have hair hanging out from one side, so you want to make sure that when you're gripping the hair, you see this part okay. So you want to make sure that, on the back side, you're pulling from this section, don't pull from any of these other sections, pull from that top section and then wrap it around that way, you can make sure that you're grabbing all of the hairs and that's How you make sure that your braid looks good on the front and the back? That'S a little tip that I learned so I'm pulling from that top section and pulling it back through here and top section and pulling it through here. Now that we have our fishtail braid, what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na go ahead and loosen it up, and just so that you know the young lady, that this was inspired by. She does have a tutorial on youtube. I will link it in the description for you guys, I don't believe in like stealing content or anything like that. So before you guys come for me in the comments and be like oh hi, sausages. Let'S do this, you know it's linked below, but this is just the way that I figured out how to do it. So I'm just gon na make it a little bit more messy and just widen it out a little bit, so I'm just pulling on it just as so, and I'm hoping that my little tutorial helped you guys out a little bit. There are some other videos that you guys can look up on how to do this, but I just wanted to kind of like and I'm just pulling it apart. Not doing anything, that's serious, but I think the next time that I do create this. I think I do want to make it a little bit looser because you know after your girl got real good with it. You know I was like oh, I can do this and I made it a little bit tighter than what I would like. So I would have liked it to be a little looser. So now, then, for the next step, what you're gon na need is straightened hair. If you are natural, it needs to be straight. If you relaxed, you know you're good sis, but I am natural, so I needed my hair to be straight, and so this is like day, five of straight hair for me. So next thing, you're gon na need you're also going to need a flat iron. If you want to go without the heat you can, but I do want to do like some curls, so I'm gon na be using a flat iron and this one is from Sally's Beauty. I got this a couple of years back and this is their ion collection. It has a digital thingy right here, so I'm gon na be using that also a rat tail comb you're going to need something to secure your pony in the back. You'Re gon na need a scrunchie to secure your pony in the back and then you're also gon na need some hair pins. But if you can, please get the hair pins that are open. I think that that would make it a lot easier for you, okay, so what I want to do is I'm going to bump this upper section. If you see hers, hers is like very high in her pictures, which is very nice. I don't want it to necessarily be that high. My scalp is kind of oily, so I don't know how I'm gon na be able to get it, but I'm just gon na start, taking some pieces and kind of like bumping them towards the back of my hair. Back for you guys, so what I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na take like bone straight. I want it to have some body to it. So I'm just gon na curl that like such, like that and I'm gon na just curl a couple more pieces, because what I really want, the look that I'm going for is like, like a little, I paid to call them papa dolls. Y'All know what those are like, where you know you have it bumped in the front a little bit, I'm just putting a little bend on it now, I'm gon na put all of this, of course, towards the back. I am gon na. Do a couple of loose hairs right here, so I'm gon na curl these side pieces a little bit and then yeah girl, I'm a cute girl. Okay, I think I wan na curl this little section back a little bit just so it has a little bit body to go this way. Cuz, I'm only doing one ponytail for it. Sorry guys can't see my camera to get it. I kind of wanted to look at the top, I'm not going for it to look perfect per se, but you know I wanted to have some height to it a little bit. I think I'm gon na take my comb and make sure I comb up this little nappy section. Oh yeah here that was popping. Would I hurt Jesus last time. I felt that I think I was a kid Jesus think back then I don't use the con man with small two combs anymore, but yeah. I think that this is how I kind of want it to look, so I'm gon na go ahead and secure it with a ponytail, because I don't want this to look like all the way done together like I want it to look kind of messy kind of Cute, I'm gon na go ahead and curl this right here don't go and I'm gon na curl this right here, all right: okay, I'm liking! It don't look exactly like hers, but hey sis kids. This can't work on it right. Okay, so now the fishtail, if you, when you get it out of the pack, you know like me: you have braiding hair. It already has a rubber band attached to it. So this is the rubber band that was attached to it and what I'm gon na do really quickly is I'm just want to attach it to the back of my pony just like such and then what I'm going to do. Is I'm actually going to pin my hair because it is on the longer side? So all I'm doing is wrapping it around the pony, the ponytail holder and then I'm going to use a bobby pin to secure it. Secur, okay and now that kind of gives me some place where I can pin this to the back of my head and what I'm doing is I'm taking the actual up top here and I'm going to pin that to that little ball that I just created. So let me hear now. I hope this is good, as I think it's gon na look ya'll tell me in the comments. If it looks good or not, I got so many hey did I achieve the look, be careful where you place your bobby pins? That'S why you need the open ones so that it doesn't like wow, oh and here's, my fishtail, oh I'm like okay. I think I want to leave some of this out. Like is that doing so? Much I don't know I kind of want to leave some. That'S it! That'S it right there all right, you guys now so now that I have this look, she did show a second way that you can do this as well, which I really like this and how this looks like endless, I mean from what I could see hold on. Let me take a picture of it. Real quick. You know to get away when you're trying to see the back. You hear you can't about to have a mirror right. Oh my gosh, it does oh. This is giving me like romantic vibes, like oh, my god. Okay, I like this. Okay, oh I like this yo okay, so I'm gon na pin this right here, though cuz I don't want it to be down like that. But oh this is giving me like romantic Italy, but it's like ah soon as Corona is done. I'M going to Italy yeah, I'm going, I'm going, Italy, okay, you guys so there's another look that you can do as well. You can actually take the pony and wrap it around your head to make like uh a mine's, not long enough, but you can wrap it and pin it like this. Oh no! It'S this one to make like a crown tight braid, but if I did that, I think what I would do is leave that like right there and then kind of like my way had to be pinned towards the back song. But let me pin it real quick. You guys can see now mine just like I said I think I you know, let me check it out again. It doesn't look bad, it's actually kind of cute yeah. Tell me in the comments that this is cute or not. I think this is a look. I mean, of course, like this little piece. That'S hanging out. I will pin that up, but that's just like you know a couple of looks that you do well I'm going to club okay. So me, nothing are you guys? So if you guys, like this look, tell me in the comments I personally love it, it's so cute, I'm so happy that she shared how to do it. Cuz when I saw it, I was like oh my gosh, that's so cute, and I wish I could do it so yeah. That'S a quick video on how to do a cute, fishtail. Braid! Look! Yes! Alright! You guys!
