Protective Styles With Kanekalon Hair> Twisted Updo

Hey curlfriends and welcome back Today's video is a protective style with some braiding hair.. It'S a twisted updo just in time for the holiday season. Best of all it just costs $ 1. Starting off on stretched hair. This is a really extremely old twist out., I'm just going to use some water to reactivate the moisturizer that I used for that twist out about 4-5 days, ago. To base down my hair, I'm going to use some Eco Styler gel.. This is just the regular gel with a # 10 hold, so it has a great hold., I'm just going to smooth down the entire base of my hairline., I'm going to use this large elastic from Goody Hairbands.. It'S like a huge large headband. That'S going to help me to get this ponytail as tight as possible., I'm using a boar bristle brush just to brush down my edges and make sure that everything is nice and sleek.. I want this ponytail to look nice and polished.. I'M grabbing this elastic and creating my ponytail. Now my hair is pretty darn thick, so I'm using a bobby pin to help me to create this bun., I'm also using extra elastic bands to make sure that I can get this bun as small as possible.. Essentially, you want to end up with a small sleek bun. Moving on to our extensions., I'm using some braiding hair.. This is one full pack of braiding hair.. I just kept it in it's long length with the rubber band attached. We're going to need this rubber band to create this ponytail., Just pull on the rubber band and add an elastic band to that rubber band to be able to fit this over your large bun. Slip that elastic band through the rubber band to create a drawstring ponytail. Be sure that your braiding hair is completely detangled before you attach this to your bun.. I'M just slipping the large elastic band over my bun., I'm going to flip the braiding hair over my natural hair bun.. All of the hair is going to be pushed over to one side., I'm just going to use the braiding hair to disguise my natural hair underneath.. I'M just wrapping little layers of the braiding hair over my natural hair bun to cover that hair. Bobby, Pin everything into place.. This is going to create our base for the hairstyle.. Everything is going to be dependent upon this base or bun. Once our bun is in place and complete, I'm just going to wrap the hair towards the outside of my head., I'm creating a long roll outward, not inward, but out away from my head to create a Long snake. I'm going to tuck it under the entire roll.. The roll is just going to wrap around the entire bun. Just one time. Everything can be pinned into place at this point.. It'S really simple and easy guys. As far as the finishing touches, I'm just pretty much fluffing up the actual roll to give it a little bit more volume and touching up my edges. Here are the final results.
