Crochet Braids With Kanekalon Hair

Pre dipped/curled crochet braids with kanekalon hair. Purchased from my local Beauty supply store 5$ a pack.

Hey YouTube so today I'm going to be doing crochet braids, of course, but today I'm going to be using the Kanekalon. I don't know, if that's how you say, the thing, as I said, can knock alone hair. I don't know if I've seen anybody on YouTube use. This hair, but it is the arm armor X, 96 inches and I got the cold wave on right. I got them in two different, two different sizes. Just so my curls are all the same and I already tested I already tested some to see if it was going to work and I kind of played with them - that's ready. They don't look so perfect right now, but yes stay tuned, because I really cannot wait to see what the outcome is going to be. I got one pack of 27 and four packs of 1b, so stay tuned for the results. Ok, so right now I am just dipping the hair and hot water. I already have them wrapped around these primer. Ides um. You only leave them in there for about 20 seconds. Then you can take them out. I let the water get boiling hot, go ahead and take them out. Imma. I'M gon na go ahead and switch out this water. Okay, so I have some more boiling hot water and then what I'm going to do is I'm just going to stick my pre rode rods in there get about a handful just saturate the hair. It doesn't have to stand that long and I decided to do it. This way, because I've seen lady struggle with doing their crochet braids first and then trying to put the perm rods in and end up running itself really bad. So this way it's just really the easier safer way to do it. Now it's going to take me a long time. I'Ve only done one pack of hair and I've probably been doing this for like probably three hours, no lot and that's three. I was just wrapping the hair around these primer odds. So I don't know if I'm going to finish this all tonight or if I'm going to it's probably going to take me at least one more day to finish this honestly, but it's going to come out nice. I can already tell - and this is my last one right here - that I'm doing for my first pack of hair, so right now, I'm just unraveling. This is the skinniest prime rod that I got and, as you can see this curl, oh my gosh, it is so gorgeous it's so gorgeous. Let me go ahead and I rival it some more and imma show you I'll show you what it looks like. This is the curl pattern and I get with the smallest Parham rod that I got, which is the gray one. I got a pink one, which is the largest, and then I got a white one, which i think is it's just a little bit bigger. I think it's just a little bit bigger than the grey. It might be the same size as the pink. No, I think it's just a little bit bigger, so I did that because I want my curls to be. I don't want them to be so uniformed. I want them to be different sizes. Okay, so I'm about halfway done with this hair um. As you can see, it's really really big the colors I'm using a 1 B, and just I'm just going to do a couple highlights of the 27 and the curl came out very pretty very pretty. I probably got to fill in about one two. Three, four. Five. Six, seven seven and a half more braids I got to fill in altogether. I braided one, two, three, four, five, six seven I say fourteen altogether. I did fourteen braids, so stay tuned for the final results. Hey, ladies, so I'm finally done with this hair, and it actually took me about two days to fully curl all of this um. I wanted to go ahead and pre tip and pre curl their hair. Before I put it in because I wanted every individual strand to be curled - and I also didn't want to burn myself um, I would recommend to do that instead of the other way, especially if you want the curls to be smaller, tighter um and just because it's Safer um, like I said, I use just the regular packet um 100 % Kanekalon hair um and I was really kind of skeptical because I didn't you usually on YouTube. People are using the marley hair um, so i didn't know if it was going to work or not, but it did work um and I really like it. I'M going to use this style, I'm going to wear it, maybe for like a week or two until I get my Brazilian curly hair um. So I think this will last and even if my curls start to get a little frizzy, all you have to do is just rewrite it and put it back in water and it'll be fine um. I used about three and a half packs, maybe closer to four packs, and because this hair is ninety six inches, I cut it in half and to me it seemed like um. I usually use free, tres hair. So to me it seemed like when I cut it in half one half was a pack of free tres hair, so I probably use like six packs um, but I mean I love it. It'S really big and its really full, so i'ma go ahead and just play with it for a second, so you can see how it flows, how it is. These curls are beautiful and, like I said um previously, I got three different sizes of rods so that my curls aren't all the same. So will look more natural, so I'm go ahead and show you to back this hair is really thick and full and pretty you can do it any way you want. I can flip it to this side. Do that and s and like I said before, that's why I absolutely love crochet braids, because they're so versatile this up, but it's so much hair that um you'll need one of the headbands to pull this all the way up, or I just use a bandana um And I just tie it like that on this, really the easiest bangle all this hair um, but you know this, is it yes, I love it, but thank you, ladies for watching, make sure you like comment subscribe. Your video was the first video that I've seen where you heated the hair first and that is the smartest way to handle the braids because I've seened a ton of tutorials where they bring the hot water extremely close to their scalp and that's the easiest way to burn your hair.

Slayer: When rodding the hair, what is your process? Do you take one end and begin to rod it or do you fold it in half, then rod, or do you wrap the middle of the hair over the rod and this rod?
