Braided Bun With Kanekalon Hair> Natural Hair Protective Styles

Hey curlfriends and welcome back Today's tutorial is going to be a Braided Bun using Kanekalon Hair. We're starting off on stretched hair.. This is a very old twist out., I'm just going to spritz it with some water to reactivate the product., I'm using some Eco Styler Gel to base my hairline, as well as the back of the bun. Grab a boar bristle brush to smooth down those edges and Smooth down this entire hairstyle so that it comes out nice and sleek., I'm grabbing this really large Goody elastic band.. I'M going to double it up to create this ponytail.. I have super thick hair, so doubling up these large headbands allows my hair to hold very well without popping or snagging on the elastic band.. You can double or triple this ponytail to create the security of your own choice., But I went ahead and wrapped it around 3 times.. Now I'm just going to fluff everything into place to make sure that it's all stretched out.. You can go back in with your gel to smooth down your hairline if you have any fly aways due to creating the ponytail.. If you have really thick hair, creating a large braid with that ponytail will help to create a very small bun. Grabbing the tail of the braid. I'M going to wrap it around the base of the bun to create a nice small bun.. I'M grabbing my braiding hair with a large elastic band to wrap around this bun., I'm going to wrap it around twice for extra security., I'm going to plait the end of the braid to create a nice large braid., I'm braiding this braid very loosely. That way. I can create a large braid and have a really skinny end towards the tail.. I'M just going to wrap the braid around my bun to disguise my original natural hair bun, underneath this braided bun. That really skinny tail on the end of the braid is what's going to help you to secure the bun into place.. You can add in some bobby pins, as well as some gel, to slick everything down., But the bun is complete. I hope you guys enjoyed today's tutorial..
