How To Low Bun With Kanekalon Braiding Hair On Natural Hair (Bridesmaid Look)

Hello there it's daniela, akad, welcome or welcome back to my channel. Let me show you how i go from these twists to this lovely slick, back low bun with kanekalon here right, so i go in with the biosilk oil all over my hair. To give it a little bit of a shine before i go in with the straightening brush now, with most of my twists clipped away, i unravel and detangle with my fingers and then i use the straightening brush to straighten the section. So i do this for each and every single twist with my hair, now stretched out and easier to work with i'm going to go ahead and create my side part, you could do a middle part. You know you could do your side, part left or right whatever you want, i would suggest to use a rat tail comb, because the comb i was using was not the right one for the job. So i was struggling to get my parts straight and, as you can see, it still is kind of off, but that's okay, we make it work once you've got your part. All you need to do is brush the hair into the right place and then make a bun. Now that i have my hair the way i want it, it's time to add the kanekalon or braiding hair. So this is the hair that i'm using. I previously used this hair to do my knotless braids. Hence why it has a little bit of texture, but that's fine with me. What i do to secure the hair to my hair is wrap the shorter end, as you can see around my bun, i'm going one direction and then the longer end the opposite direction. As i'm wrapping the hair around my bun. I tighten. I pull to make sure that it will be secure and then i just tuck once i finish wrapping the hair. I just go around and feel for any loose bits that are sticking out or parts that need to be tucked in and also to make sure that my actual bun is tucked or covered as well. So then, i added a hair tie over the hair that i wrapped on just for a sense of security. I also added some hair pins in the bun itself, as well as on the sides to keep my hair flat, which you will see in a little bit and unfortunately, i didn't get to slick down my hair and you know, do my edges and everything on camera Because i didn't have the products with me at home, but um you'll see a clip of what my hair looked like.
