Hi everyone is gon na be here and I'm back today to share my new. Do. Yes, I put some more bucks phrase in my ear, so yeah I want to come on in share them with you guys so yeah. So basically, I decided to put more box braids in my hair. This time I decided to do them a lot shorter than they were the last time that I did them. You guys probably know - or if you don't know, if you're new to my channel, that I recorded a video about box braids with tapered hair. I believe is this: what it's called well I'll link it down in the description box below but um yeah. I kind of did a review on this hair like a little semi mini review, but it wasn't a real review cuz. I really didn't tell you guys how I actually I like the hair. I said I liked it, but I really didn't give you like an initial. Like impression like how it held up and everything like the actual braiding hair, so I'm gon na go ahead and do that today. As you know, I use the expressions, hair, um and yeah. I showed this in my last video, so I'm just gon na go ahead and read over exactly what this is really really quick. So it is the expressions African collection, everything collection, braids are hot water, braids possible light soft Tango, pretty easy, brushing and easy separating. So this just tells you everything about the hair and I use two packs of well like a pack and a like it. Basically, I use two packs of I'm the number two and it just tells you right here, the color and then, as you see here, a long side. As you see here, I have some colors like this reddish orange color and my hair. So that is a you see a number 315. You see that right here right here: okay, oh yeah, so I use the number 350 like the radiation orange color. I just want to switch it up and try something new. So, as you guys know, the last time in my video I said is that the hair is 82 inches long which it is, but of course, since my brains are a lot shorter, I always cut the hair because 82 inches very long. Like this time, I've got a lot of use out of the hair, because last time I used four packs of the hair. I four and a half packs and I feel like that's because the braid I you I had longer braids and also because I use my braids were like a medium sized length so yeah. So this is how I cut my hair in half and I'll insert like some pictures of what it looks like before I cut it and how it looked and everything so yeah. So this is the hair and, as you can see it is it has little wrinkles in it, but this here is actually more of a silky texture. There is a very, very, very silky, so that's just what it looks like um, I'm pretty sure you all you guys are all familiar with like different brands of braiding here, and you know how some writing here can be very, very coarse when I works, but it Tangles the lines and such and this hair, it leaves up so it exactly what it says. For the most part, it doesn't um, it doesn't tangle and I'll insert like a clip here of me, actually braiding this hairstyle with my hair, just to show you how easy it is to just go ahead and braid your hair, my dozen get caught or get tangled Every now and again I'll get a little tingle, but it's not massive to where I have to take the whole braid out and start over. But here this hair is really really nice. The luster on it is pretty nice, and this is the number two color I'm. I don't really like one B here is just way too dark for my hair, but yes, this is really really nice unless there's nice on it. Of course, when you cut hair, braiding hair is going to shed that's just how it is when you're breaking it in your hair is going to shed, because you realize this is what 315 looks like and I'll have to say that the 350 is a lie. Silkier way, silkier did the actual number two, because when I was braiding this in my hair, it was so hard for the brace to actually hold like they kept unraveling. The color payoff is really really nice and you know I was just trying something different. I don't know if I'm gon na keep this color in my hair, like this color and much longer, I think I am going to maybe just take it out eventually and just flip remember to all over it, because I really don't know how I feel about it. But I can't say that the color payoff is really nice I'll, just trying something different. If you purchase the expressions here, you might, if you purchase the colored here, you might experience and being a looked a bit more secure than like it's solid colors, and I don't know if it's showing off on camera that it's like that. But it really is like you can even tell that this is like shinier. The luster is a lot shinier with the 352 color. Here then opposed to the just neutral color here. So yes, as well as far as these braids in my hair um, I went ahead and right at them. So they're, rotted and I'll insert a picture of what rise I used and I just dipped them in hot water. Some of them are. I need to tighten them back up three dogs, but yes, I rotted them one of the water on the stove. I made sure it was really hot, be careful because you don't want to burn yourself and I just want to hit and dip the braids in hot water, and this is how the ends started out. I wanted them to be curly. The here does curl pretty well. I think my eyes kind of loosened up because I've had it. I'Ve been wearing my hair, a lot, I'm a ponytail, so I'm pretty sure that's wide. Also shedding this hair has been shedded and my hair doesn't shed in your hair once you get it all braids. It really doesn't shed, you might get like one or two years, I'm when you're running your fingers through, but for the most part it does not shed. Also, I did not cleanse this hair before I put it in my hair, and I know you show the cleanse hair before you put it in your hair, but I did not so my experience with it is surprisingly, my hair is not all myself is not on Fire because I have a really really really sensitive scalp and who some I'm braiding here in the past, has like really irritated myself, really really bad, but this here um hasn't irritated my scalp or anything okay. I wanted to add that the hair is $ 5.99. That'S how much it cost at my local beauty supply store. So I'm just assuming that it depends on where you purchase your hair from depending on the price, but it was $ 5.99 a peg. I really do feel like it is worth the price, because it does not tangle very nice. Very nice of braiding here also the last phrase that I put in my hair, the last box braids those long ones I left those in for about a month. I took them out cuz. I just wanted to take them out. I probably put a winning lease to hunt them, but I just took him out, I don't know, but um they held up really really well. Even when I took them out, they were still night. They still looked really really nice. I'M gon na actually will insert a picture of the day before I sent them off. They still looked really nice um, these ones, I'll, probably just leave them in until the end of November. We'Re gon na December take them out, but yeah they hold up really well, you can get - probably, I would say, maybe three months wear out of them, because when I used to give my hair braided by someone else, I would leave my braids in for three months. So you can get some we're good we're out of these braids and I'm how I started using this hair. So the lady that used to braid my hair, she uses his hair use his hair and I had gotten box braids with the hair and I've those box. Arrays lasted for three months, so yeah you can get up to three months of wear with this, I'm I don't wash my box braids when they're in my head me personally. I just kind of use, dry, shampoo and try to not use a lot of product. In my scalp, because my hair is natural - and you know when your hair is natural and you're using a different texture of hair, if I do get these wet, my hair is going to revert and I did blow-dry my hair before I install this hair. But my hair will revert if I put water on it, so you're just one of those people that can't go a month without washing your hair. I mean go ahead and wash it, but I will say if your natural, your hair, probably most nights, I'm gon na ten will revert back and the braids yeah. I'M trying to think if I missed anything also as far as like I was saying about the maintenance and your brain is actually holding it for three months. That depends on how tightly you braid. Now, if you braid really loose, then you may not get three months of wear out of your brains, but if you brave very tightly like here, you can see I braided these and very tightly as far as I'm not talking about from the root. I'M talking about the extra brain I got braids at the actual braids very tight. Then you will get three months wear out of your braids. You really will so yeah. I just want to add that I would totally recommend the expressions braiding hair to anyone. That is only like senegalese twist or just box braids. I will totally recommend it. You can get a lot of hair for your book. I know in my last video I felt like there wasn't a lot of hair in the package and I guess that's, if you're doing your braids really long, if you're not gon na cut the hair. This time I cut the hair into smaller sections. It did last a lot longer head and take them out of the ponytail that I had pulled on, so you guys can get a good look at them and, yes, my hair is my shape. Signs are just normal. I don't really have anything going on with them. I just combed them out, moisturize them and that's it for right now, I'm probably gon na pull them or something eventually to wear my hair up in a bun. Oh yes, this is what my brains look like and I just put the color towards the middle of my head. So let me just spin around and then this is another view of the color. You can also wear these down. If you have tapered sides, that's the nice part about breaking the front of your hair close together, because you can't wear them down and, as you can see, my sides are covered. You can't see them but yeah. So I just want to come on really quick in shimmer box braids with you all, and I hope you enjoyed this video and I'll see you on my next one bye wondering how long the hair is actually the 82 inches long. I know, ladies won't respond. That'S really long, but what I did was I wanted.

Viviana Hernandez: so is it normal for this hair to fall off easily when pulling apart into sections? i recently purchased some of this hair, and it is very dry and looks damaged. can it damage? and is it normal for the hair to fall and tagle as i am pulling it. what number or kind of hair should i buy to do some feed in cornrows? is there a certain type i should get for that style? thank you.

Kim RCR: For me, it take away from my style. right now I have the top braided so that's working for now. I will be watching as you grow out the tapered cut and taking notes...thanks

Khalilah Thompson: Where did you purchase the hair?

Kim RCR: Do you still plan on growing your sides out? I'm trying to grow my side back but its a struggle

Towanna Britt: did the hair make your scalp itch and burn? I used some kanekalon hair and it messed me up.
