About my hair...

I have fine, chemical-free hair. Chemical free means no relaxer...no color...no nothing. :) I mainly wear my fine, natural hair in TWIST OUT styles. For me, twist outs are a protective style that have allowed me to retain length while enjoying wearing my hair 'out.'

I also love for my fine natural hair to have lots of bounce, curls and volume!

Hey friends and welcome to nashville corporate. Thank you for watching this video and tuning in today hope everybody is doing well um we're doing crochet braids. Today i have not done crochet braids on my channel in a really long time. I think the last ones the last video i did was um goddess locks and they were so pretty. They were very long but um so revisiting crochet braids. Today what i have in today. These are goddess box braids and i purchased these from amazon. I have 14 inch and 14 inches long and the color is t1b30. Let me grab one all right. Color is t1b30 and i really like them, um here's what they look like out of the package, so really pretty. There'S that 30 on the end - and i really like them - i had never seen any like these before so this is intentional if they're not messed up, but this is how they look. So it's the braid, but then with some little like little tassels, a little tresses pulled out of it. So that's really pretty to me and i wanted to give them a try. I'Ve already done one section of my head and i really like them. I love the color, it's really nice for fall. I mean for any time of year, but really for fall. I love all kinds of auburns and burnt orange colors anyway. So let me show you my braiding pattern and then i'm going to go ahead and finish installing these crochet braids i'll. Tell you one thing i like about crochet braids. Is that your parts and your um cornrows? If you do the cornrow method, they don't have to be perfect because they'll be covered up by the hair, and i may not. After these i may not do crochet braids for a while, but unless, unless i get someone else to help me with my cornrows and putting in the hair, because my hair has um, you know it has a little bit of length on it. So it's just i'm not always in the mood for putting in the cornrows and figuring out what to do with my hair on the end. So i have my hair kind of tucked in and crocheted in into some of the um one of the cornrows here, but anyway let me go ahead and finish the style and then i'll come back and show it to you. I am back with my complete crochet install and i love these crochet braids so much. I hope you see all this beautiful color and these are in the color t1b30. Is that right, yeah, t1b30 and in the package i got eight of these little bundles. I only used six, so i've got these two left over and i don't know i may just hold on to them for a little while in case i want to revisit this particular hair crochet hair pattern one day - and i already have two, but i love these - So much i do not bring my crochet braids all the way to my hairline. I have fine hair and i just feel like if i try to pack them in up here, i'm just setting myself up for some hair loss, and i don't want to do that. A couple of years ago, when i was heavy on the crochet braids, i think this had to be before my youtube channel, but i was doing crochet braids back to back to back because i love them so much and my husband brought it to my attention that My hairline was, i think he said it was receding, and so just off the rip you know on the inside, i'm like my hair is not. My hairline is not receding, but i analyzed my hair like when i took crochet braids out and shampooed. I was like well, he might be right, he was right. He was right. I have to admit it. So you know i just don't. When i put my cornrows in, i don't pull my hair really tight and i also do not pack in my crochet hair up to the hairline. It'S it's no need to. I think mine still look. Okay. They look. Okay to me you know i'm not aiming for perfect, i'm aiming for. Oh that's cute and i think i achieved ooh, that's cute. I definitely think i achieved that so um again i have the color t1b30 and i have a i love crochet braids. I do have a semi love hate relationship with them, because this hair, that's touching my face, makes my face itch a little just a little in my neck. If it touches my neck, so i have to make sure that you know i'm not getting any type of irritation. So if it's, if it's here for just a couple of minutes, it's fine, but if it sits there for a while, it just starts to itch and that's what i don't like, but otherwise this hair is very lightweight. Crochet braids are very easy to put in. These are pre-looped. I think i mentioned that they're pre-looped, so a lot of the work is done for you, you're not having to twist the hair yourself or braid it or anything like that. I don't know how long i'll keep these in, because i do have a hair appointment coming up in a few weeks to get a nice trim and just professional maintenance done to my hair, but i do like them. I just put these up: in a pineapple at night i put a big silk scrunchie on them and a uh satin bonnet that i have and i'm good to go. I take these down and that's it. There'S there's really no maintenance at all at all, but depending on how long i do leave them in if it's for you know over a week or so i will start to just um. Take care of my scalp make sure i'm putting some type of product on my scalp to minimize itching. If i get any itching, because i typically do with crochet braids, but just to minimize the itching and make sure my scalp stays moisturized and doesn't get really dry. But i do love these crochet braids. If you are interested again, like i said i'll leave all of the information in the description box for you today is saturday. I actually put these in it was thanksgiving morning, so i put them in two days ago and you know i still think they look super fresh. I just brushed down my edges a little bit, but crochet braids will last you. If, for me, they don't start looking a little messy until about the third week and that's typically just around like my hairline, but nothing that a little gel can't fix all right y'all. So thanks for tuning in to this video, let me know in the comments: if you, if you rock crochet braids from time to time, i think they are crochet. Braids can look really really nice. They are uh. You know, corporate environment. Appropriate most patterns are, i think so, and if you stick with a color that is not too busy. You know, i think, they're absolutely appropriate. I'Ve seen some really really nice crochet braid styles on women, who are just really killing it and being so versatile with their hair. These are a great protective style. I will probably keep mine in for maybe two weeks but they're, a great protective style. I'Ve worn crochet braids for as long as eight weeks. I'Ll never do that again, but the hair looked good. I think my roots were starting to look a little janky, but the hair itself still looked good, but crochet braids are a great protective style. Just if you keep your hair in across your braids for an extended period of time, maybe four or five weeks, three three to five weeks, make sure you're taking care of your scalp. But i think these are really pretty um yeah. So i'm good to go all right thanks for watching this video until next time keep it naturally corporate you

NaturallyCorporate: Motown Tress 3X PASSION TWISTS https://youtu.be/UuEy9-OI2-s

Kathy Walters: This has to be done of my favorite videos from Naturally Corporate! This is a great protective style! Love the color and versatility! Kudos!❣️❣️❣️

Marlene Mitchell: I love the look and color I will be trying them very very soon!!!

Love Yourself: These are so beautiful Love the color and goddess style braids. You look Beautiful ❤ Have a Blessed Day and Take Care

Courtney Jackson: I love this look. You did a wonderful job. I just don't like how it looks on me without the crochet braids going to the hairline. To eliminate the pulling, I do individual plaits and braid them together or depending on the hair, will crochet my plait into the crochet braids. I also redo my perimeter every two weeks to keep my hair from locing.

Rachael's HomeLifeLove: So pretty! I love your hair! I agree with the stress that the crochet can put on your hairline. The hair should be soaked in vinegar water to prevent the itchy feeling. I get that as well. I have to soak the alkaline layer off of the hair first. Sometimes the water turns milky white! Argh! Love the flip over!

Lady Ggii: I did mine with that same hair from Amazon!!! I love love love Amazon’s hair

Fine Natural Hair ROCKS: Looks absolutely beautiful! I've worn crochet braids before but I typically do the individual locs. I love the look each and every time My sweet spot in terms of keeping them in is 4-6 weeks max

rainndropxs: Oooow, that is cute on you I love it!! Yes , they do itch so bad. I just took out the Jamaican Twist for that very reason. Dry flakes everywhere. I oiled my scalp every day I had them in. I couldn’t take it anymore. Of course, I love the color on you

Eboni Elon: omgggg these are BEAUTIFUL! Probably the best passion twists I've seen, I'm definitely going to pick these up.

Brittney Taylor: I ordered this color because of you and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

JackieNaturals: Hey beautiful, you did great with the cornrows but I'm sure they were hard to do...I can't cornrow. LOLLL. I love the braids with the curls coming out. Also, the color is super pretty and the final look is soooo pretty and you did a great job. I have fine hair too so I love that you don't go all the way up. Your makeup is really pretty too and you definitely achieved super cute. I have never tried crochet braids but I love this one. FW and have a great day.

Regina Michelle: Those are very pretty. I would definitely rock those. I’m going to look for these.

Christina Curry: Yessss these are cute and the color looks really good on you. Crochet styles was my go to when I was transitioning. I still love love them until this day. Crochets are easy and fast to do.

Valerie Watkins: That is cute. ....I just took out the crochet passion twists I got but did them single braids . But I do love your hair

Sharese Nicole: That’s smart to not go too close to the hairline they came out great!

Valerie Billings: Gotta get those! Very nice and convenient

dae dae: Sometime you have to put hair in a vinegar and water rinse to remove the irritating coating that causes itch before installing hair.

👸Queen JUJU 💇TV: Beautiful

sjlmorgan: New subscriber! You were in my Google news feed to alleviate that itch, I rinse my crochet hair in my kitchen sink with lukewarm water with one ounce of apple cider vinegar, one tablespoon of conditioner and a teaspoon of shampoo I do not separate them. No itching with the install.

Child of God: Yes, you did that, nice!!!!

Kamryn Mai: Looks beautiful I wouldn’t bring mine to the hair line either bc my hair is kinda thin too

Monica Quaye: What company makes the hair?

Nannett Matthews: I still came them latch hook braids..
