Today, I'm going to be showing you all how I created this beautiful crochet hairstyle, the hair, I'm using it's bungo, crochet braids by Bali. First thing I did was part my hair from ear to ear. Then I'm going to braid the back only going straight back. So once I'm done with this braid on the left, I'm going to switch over to the right side and do a braid all right. Now I'm just going to go back to the left side and the braid I'm working on I'm going to take the end of the first braid I made and add it to the one that I'm currently working on and I'm just going to keep going back and Forth until I get to the middle and then once I get to the middle braid, I will add both ends from each side. Now, I'm going to take this one braid, that's hanging and I'm going to use my crochet needle to thread it through the braids. Now I'm going to start styling the front section, so I'm going to part my hair straight down the middle and from the beginning of the middle part, I'm going to make a diagonal part. I'M going to use some olive oil smooth and hold pudding as well as summers edge wax and I'm going to mix those two products together. Now I'm going to rub that on the inside of this left section that I'm working on and then brush the product through, then I'm going to take some Murray's edge wax and apply it to my hairline. I want the outside brace to have a waterfall effect, so I'm going to comb that particular section all the way down towards my ear and then I'm gon na start braiding, my hair and I'm going to keep the braid as close to my hairline as possible and For the middle section, I'm going to apply the products on both sides and then I'm going to braid straight down the middle of that particular section and I'm going to repeat the same thing on the opposite side. Now I'm going to start adding the crochet hair to the back, and I am using one full strand. This hair is thick and can't get fooled pretty quickly, so I am making sure to space the hair appropriately. You probably want to leave about an inch between each strand of hair. One tip for installing crochet braids is to insert the needle in the direction that you want the hair to fall. So on the right side, I want the hair to fall more towards my ear. In my face, so I'm going to insert the needle from the left and push it to the right, and this is the direction that the hair will fall, and it will also put that put the knot on the right side and allow it to lay flatter. In that direction, now that I'm done crochet in the back, I'm going to take the two outside braids in the front and I'm going to tie their ends together and then secure it with a rubber band kind of creating a bridge with those two braids. Then I'm just gon na take a few bobby pins and try to pin those ends down for some added security and also conceal the ends. Now I'm going to take the two inside braids and I'm gon na wrap those ends towards the back and pin it down with a few hair pins as well as bobby pins. So here's the bridge I created with those two braids. I am filling in that braid with crochet hair as well, so my next objective is to fill in the gaps in the front to make it look more natural. So here I'm going to start splitting the strand of hair into probably forced and then I'm going to start crocheting where the gap is even if there is no braid there. So here you see I'm actually crocheting areas where my hair is not braided and I'm going to try to fill in that gap as close to the middle part as possible. So this particular area is what I want to fill in and, like I said before, I'm going to keep adding crochet hair until I get right there at that middle part and I'm going to add hair on both sides and bring that gap closer and closer together. Alright, once I get to that middle part, I'm actually going to Pierce existing knots just to close in that gap, I'm kind of high we're how far back the part goes. Next, I'm going to start piercing the actual cornrow to make it seem as if the cornrow transitions in to loose hair. So again, this is going to make it look a bit more natural and then I'm just gon na continue to close up that gap and Pierce. The cornrows and to I get it to where I am satisfied. Now I'm going to do some trimming and shaping, and then I will follow that up with some moves to kind of ease the frizz that was created when I split the hair, I'm also gon na. Do some shingling, which is I'm gon na, apply the mousse and then I'm going to take strands of hair and wrap it around my finger in the direction of the curl just to again help further ease the frizz. This is the final look. I really love how it came out. I love that the style was not very time-consuming in that it only took me about an hour to complete. I like that this style gives me the option to go in and redo the front part of my hair to freshen up my look without having to remove all of my crochet braids. This hair is actually my favorite crochet hair to install because it is so inexpensive and it looks so natural. I used four packs of hair to create the style and I hope you guys really enjoyed the video if you did hit that like button, don't forget to subscribe to my channel if you have not already and please leave any comments and questions below.
