How To: Take Down Crochet Braids In 30 Mins!!

Showing how to I quickly uninstall my crochet braids

I have permission to use this music: http://audiomicro.com/royalty-free-mus...

Hey guys today, I'm going to be making a really quick video, showing you how I uninstall or take down my crochet braids. I can take them down very quickly under 30, they are saying you will need, is a pair of scissors as I'm cutting. I'M making sure that I could right above the knot. You do not cut any lower than the not be about right here. Just like that, and as you move toward the back, you want to feel and find out exactly where your real hair will split up, and so do you need the scissors as far away from your braid, your corn robe as possible. Ok! So now that I have completed cutting and cutting off the crochet here as close as I possibly could now, what I'm going to do is I'm just going to take it and just start pricking it up. Just like that, it's very easy. I just come right off.

Carla Gillis: Thank you for your time making these video's . I have an adopted daughter that is mixed and without youtube , I am not sure if she'd even have hair. Poor girl. But thankfully to all the video's I have finally figured out what works for her hair. I use argan oil by creme of nature. I can't wait to try these crochet braids. I have done the box braids and that takes forever, and they don't stay well. I am hoping to leave the crocheted braids in at least 2 months. Thanks again for your tutorials.

Mareesha: Thank you so much for this. I was able to take my crochet braids out in 30 minutes also. You're a life saver.

SassyandClassy85: I just recently got into doing my OWN hair and I am loving all of the possibilities! Your videos have been a true inspiration to me...the funny thing is I was saying to myself that I don't have to be scared to cut the perm out of my hair now... then the scripture came across the screen, look at God! Thank you so much!

Felicia Williams: OH MY!! Thank you so much doing this. I have been stressing out trying to figure out I'm going to get my braids out. I have the confidence to do it myself. Bless you

Teeday6: Aww thank you for such kind words. This year I've been keeping my regimen simple to try and figure out what my hair likes. I am on a conditioner and oil only regimen. I only use shampoo if I have to. Since Jan. I've been only washing my hair with conditioner and I noticed my hair is much healthier and curlier than it was last year. Protective style help too. I hope for the best on your journey. :)

mishaaaB00: So helpful and clear to understand. THANK YOU!

Although I was combing my hair after each section take out - In my opinion it was alot of hair. (blew me away) My hair even feels thinner after shampooing and conditioning. I think the next time i take my croches down before I initiate combing i will saturate my hair with condtioner and oils, maybe this way it want be so much hair loss.

Teeday6: Thanks sis!

Teeday6: Thanks sis!

Teeday6: Yea, I've heard of people taking the braids down by unraveling the braids, but I think it's also how you knot the hair. Some knots are tighter than others.

Teeday6: Oh noooo! I'm so sorry to that. That's why I kept saying do not cut below the knot, because it can get serious real quick lol. You're right, it'll grow back. If I were you, I would do different protective styling until it grows back.
