Friends and welcome back to Amanda muse, as you guys know, I recently chopped off all my hair, which, by the way, is like super invigorating and refreshing and everything, and I just feel so good to have such a big change. I highly recommend it, but, as with any hairstyle change, you tend to use a couple different products, especially if it's like a fairly drastic change like I've just done. I'M gon na share with you today the products that I have been reaching for the most since chopping off my hair. So let's get into this, I noticed with shorter hair that I'm actually washing my hair a little bit more. I noticed that it just gets a little bit. I don't know you don't have that ability to just throw it in a topknot if it's looking a little like wrangly and also I've been blow-drying it more because it's shorter and it's way easier to blow-dry. It takes like no time at all, but I don't want to kill my hair because since I had blonde hair, my hair is rather processed at the moment. I'M trying to protect it as much as possible. I have been reaching for a heat protector. This is the frizzies heat defeat protecting spray. You know with these things. I think I mentioned it when I bought this. I never know if these things actually work, but it can't hurt. I'Ve been spreading this on my freshly washed hair, and then I blow-dry it like. I said I don't know if it actually does anything, but it just makes me feel better inside, but I'm doing something to protect my hair before my second day hair. When I don't wash it, I like to spray a little bit of dry, shampoo and liking. This batiste dry, shampoo - this is the clean and classic original. The scent is a little bit. It'S not my favorite. It does go away but like when you spray it, I like to have the vent on and a bathroom just to kind of like get rid of that smell, because it just smells a little bit mad, but the product itself. I feel like works really really well, but essentially it sucks up any moisture on your scalp and just gives you fresher. Hair also gives you a little bit of volume which I really enjoy, because if your hair is greasy, it's gon na be quite flat. I tend to focus on the top layer, so I'll just lift some hairspray and then I let it sit. I kind of go around the top of my crown kind of thing do my makeup and then once my makeups done, I give a good old. You know with the fingers I get in there and then I just kind of brush it out and definitely loving a very lived in a look. That'S what I was going for when I went for the chop. I got a check out and code trans Instagram page like that hair. When you see it you're gon na go. Oh yeah, I totally see where Amanda was inspired from cuz. I just love it. I'M gon na leave that link below he has basically trademarked lived-in hair and I just think it's beautiful, think, Lauren Conrad, think Jessica. Alba, just very like nice lived in lived in hair. How many times can I say that to get that look he has some amazing products, but they are out of my price range. One of the products he uses is like a beachy kind of texture spray. I have been loving the Garnier Fructis style. Texture, tease super affordable, super nice product. Where this you can spray all over your head. It does not leave a white residue and basically just gives you like it says: instant, lift and texture with a workable finish. So when you kind of work, your hands to your hair, there is texture, there is movement and the hair will stay if you've tried a dry shampoo and you haven't loved it because you just don't like the way your hair feels after then, you might actually enjoy This texture tease type of products because it does the same thing, but your hair is still manageable and you don't have any of that white residue. It'S a top product, if I happen to do a little bit of curl in my hair, just use the curling wand and a little extra something in my hair, then I do like to use a hairspray to finish it. Your spirit I have lately is from Aveda, and this is the air control of veda hairspray. I personally really like the smell like it's just it's very heavily scented though so you know that's something to consider, but it just smells like cloves and something earthy, and I just love Aveda products for that reason, because they just smell so good. That hairspray definitely holds the curls in place. It'S not like the softest hairspray. My fingers, don't just like run through my hair, but then, if you have curls, I want the curls to hold. So it's an okay product. I find I only use the hairspray on, like my second or third day hair, if I even go that long without washing, because I definitely want to wash my hair out the next day. I don't like to have hairspray build up over days, and days of the, for my favorite is definitely the texture spray from Garnier. I just I cannot get over how wonderful that product is just. I don't know when my hair was longer. I really didn't see the value of it, but now that I have this bob and I like the choppy look, but I still want to have a little bit of volume and just have it look lived in loving it loving it loving it loving it. That is it for our makeup Monday, video. I hope you enjoyed this. If you did, you know what to do. Give me a thumbs up if you're new to my channel, don't forget to subscribe. All my social media links are below I'm kind of everywhere. At the moment and I've particularly loving scope, which, if you missed my last video, go check it out and I gave you the down-low on periscope, I'm just loving, like the casualness of snapchat and periscope and all of those good things anyways. That'S it. I'M gon na stop talking so I'll, see your face on Wednesday for the weekly vlog. Keep it real. My friends by the creators is pretty much the clothes that you're gon na get to teleportation. Let'S think about that. For a second, that's pretty damn cool! You are essentially viewing the world through another person's eyes.

Live well, Jess: Definitely love that lived in look! This haircut/color is seriously SO good on you! Can't get over it!

Jordyn Keller: This is the perfect video for me right now. I just recently chopped out 7 inches of my hair and it's short easy and I love it! I've been looking for something like that texture spray. Going tonight and buying some! I love the leave in conditioner by that same brand:)

vm macdonald: I'm LOVING it styled this way I'm seriously considering going back 6 years ago to my post baby bob. I loved how easy it was. How ridiculous is this, I avoid the freakin gym because I don't want to have to wash my hair! I'm all, do I really have an hour to commit AFTER this workout? Nah.

Joe & Joanne: It's been a while since I've used Garnier (no particular reason) but I remember liking how they worked in my hair.  I have a lot of very fine hair and found their products work well in that 'situation.'  Will have to give the texture spray a try!  Oh and if I didn't already tell you in another comment:  Your hair is GORGEOUS!  I love it!

Emily Concealer and Coffee: I got a pixie right after your bob (I think you saw that on Instagram already) and I'm using the Garnier texture/tease as well. It works wonderfully if I need a style in like a minute! My hair can be wind blown and that stuff makes it look like the style was on purpose ;)

Rebekah Darby: You inspired me to take the plunge and go for a bob! I did it today and I'm very happy with how it looks! Thanks x

Jessi Sanfilippo: I'm seriously so in love with the chop on you. Mine's grown out a bit from when I my stylist made the hack and I'm loving it.

Glimpses of Grace: I just love your hair like this!! I have been wanting to cut my hair this short, which I haven't in awhile, but you have totally inspired me to chop off my locks!! :) Thanks for sharing!!

Destiny Reidel: OMG I use and love that texture and tease by Garnier! I was going to suggest it to you when I saw you cut your hair short :) It works soooooooo good!

Becky Nelson: You look absolutely gorgeous with dark hair. And the cut is so fun and cute :)  It sounds like you love your texturizing spray, but wanted to recommend my favorite.  It's the L'Oreal Boost It - High Lift Creation Spray.  It's a black bottle with purple writing.  I love the scent and it gives awesome volume and texture :)

avaloslopez23: Love your hair and new color, you look fabulous! AND... I appreciate your updates, they're so genuine.

blasFEMMEous: I chopped my hair on Saturday. I went in and asked for the Kate Beckinsale lob. We then figured I had enough to donate to Locks of Love, again! And now I'm watching this and realizing you and I have the exact same haircut. Ha! So glad for this video. All of my 'meant to get around to that' hairstyle pins or videos are for long hair.

rosencrafts: I'm super addicted to that Garnier product too. Since I got my bob it's all I want to use! It's so great!

Sandra D: So glad you did it...your hair looks amazing!

Sianne.L: absolutely ADORING your new hairstyle! just chopped off my hair too ^^ feels awesome!

GrungeAlley: Love the new hair, it really suits you!

josielee10: I love your hair dark! Really complements you skin tone :)

Kassia: Love me some texture spray! I wish I could go for a more "lived" in look. I think my hair is too straight and it just looks like I woke up (not in a good way) hahahah!

: Oh my goodness I'm just catching up! Your hair looks amazing!

Irene P: I also follow Ahn Co Tran on instagram and his haircuts are just too die for!i wish he could give me one lol ! also that hair looks so good on you because they make all your features stand out! xx

Jamie Mackay: The hair is gorg! I cut my hair as well, but mine goes all poofy...which is lame! Do you think your shampoo is contributing to the smoothness?

Emilya Gerson: It looks fantastic!

snowflake891000: Your hair is PERFECTION!!

Miranda 777: I love it, so pretty! :)

Court and Mikie: You make me sad for going blonde! lol You look gorgeous!!

natureallmighty: This may be kind of old news, but I love using argan oil - products on my dry and almost split ends, just before I turn on the blow dryer. If you haven't tried that, go ahead - I think you'll like it.

Laura Withnall: Ooh I love it exactly how it is in this vid!

Mehnaz: you look so radiant :)

mista: i think those "freeze ease/heat protectant" products have alcohol in them witch will make your hair dry..and the "texture sprays" have salt in them witch will also dry your hair..so they are not so healthy for your hair in general but really damaging for already damaged hair

Jamie Broussard: woohoo for short hair! :p

Rubymoonsister: What is your hair care routine nowadays? What shampoo and conditioner so you use? I have thick wavy hair and trying to get it to grow out since I'm a serial hair cutter. Help! I want to try something new!

Yana K: Batiste has one that's for brunettes, it basically sprays in brown color. That's the one I use and it doesn't leave the white residue.
