#EasyCurlyHairstyles #HowToPartHair #HowToPartCurlyHair #Centerpart #middlepart

Hello today i'll be sharing five ways to part curly, hair and styling. This middle part look from wet to dry and show you all my tips and tricks in between hello. This is april with easy, curly hairstyles, and this channel is all about inspiring curl confidence by helping you build your toolbox of routines techniques and signature hairstyles and we're gon na get started with wet hair, because all of the parting that i do begins on wet hair. After washing and conditioning i rake in some gel and i'm just going to style the bottom part of my hair, so we can focus on the top section for parting styles today. Here, i'm just going to use my fingers to section my hair, the top sides and then all the way to it just below the crown of my head and the crown is right, where the top of your head meets the back of your head. So just that little corner that turns back. That is the part where i love to have volume in my hair, and so i always rake in my product up, because i want the roots to be styled upwards, so that when i let my hair hang down, there's still some lift in the roots there. And i really love that so here's the top a little rectangle on the top area, where we're going to start some parting and the first part i want to talk about is the horizontal part or a ladder part, because it's a series of horizontal lines and the Stylists love to do that when they're styling, curly hair and the amount of sections really depends on your hair density and the look that you're going for. So i usually have four or five sections. So there's one at the crown that you already saw that i flipped back and then for all of these different sections. I you could either use a brush to style it back. You can rake your products and then style it back, but either way. That'S that horizontal line part is going to stay there, and i love this because it allows your hair to fall in a natural look and your bangs could either come forward a little bit to the side or you can style those all the way back as well. It'S definitely one of my favorite ways to style my hair. The next is the zigzag part. Now you can just with one continuous line, make a zigzag or a series of diagonal sections in the front, and what i love about this is that it just gives it a really unique design. On top it's it's another one of my favorites as well. You can see the part lines, but it really helps to create a lot of volume and you never have to flip your hair. So all week long, you don't have to flip through your hair. Even if you tried here i'm trying to flip it fluff it flip. It around and it still just stays in that position and there's equal volume on both sides. So i really love that look. The next two parts are really easy and it's the deep diagonal part from one corner of the eye, all the way towards the back and then there's a little shallower. Diagonal part. That starts right in the middle of your forehead and just goes out to the side, and this is perfect. I love this because i do have a little cowlick in the front and my bangs do want to go to one certain size. So this is a really easy one to do here. I'M showing the small diagonal part - and here is how it looks dry. You can see right in the center of my forehead there's just that little diagonal line that goes back and that really just helps my bangs go where they want to go, and the last parting for today is the center part, and it's not just any part, because You know that i love volume at the crown, so i don't do my center part all the way back. Instead, it's more of a combo, so half of my head, i'm going to do the horizontal or the ladder part and style all the that section back then the front section i'm going to do the center apart. So this allows me to have that lift and that volume at the crown of my head, but still have the look of the center part right in the very front. Yes, i'm still going to have some problem with that little cowlick area. Those baby hairs just want to do whatever they want to do, but this is still going to give me that center part look, but still also give me some volume now that this part is set in place, i'm going to scrunch it do all of the styling And get it dried up and show you all the tips and tricks to set this part in place? And, yes, even if i'm flipping my hair over scrunching in product right now, that part is still going to stay there. This is a great time where i'm adding a little bit more water to my hair than scrunching in that product or smoothing that product in so that i don't see any wet frizz. And then i can go on to drying my hair because of course, as we were sectioning taking the time, it's getting air dried a little bit. So, that's why i wanted to add water reactivate that scrunch it up and then set all of this in place and i'm going to diffuse it today and use some root clips as well. So you can see how i can pump up the volume, even with this center part to dry. This look, i'm doing pixie diffusing and i'm using the back of my rat tail comb to help me lift the hair up and into that diffuser cup and just holding that in place so that the curl dries in that upward lifted position. And this helps to get more volume overall and then i'm using the root clips. On the back section of my hair, i have about five here just in a headband formation, in order for that hair to dry lifted, and then, when my hair is completely dry, i'm just going to shake out the roots. What that's doing is just breaking up the curl clumps that are right at the scalp, so that i can create a little bit more air space and a little more volume there only at the roots. So you see, i'm not brushing through my hair at all. My hands are touching my scalp this entire time, i'm not moving them out, just shaking it out a little bit and then i'm going to scrunch out any gel crunch that there is all around my hair, and you can see this styling if you've watched on my Other videos, how different my curl pattern looks with this just scrunching in the product technique. It'S definitely a wavier look rather than the ringlets, and it definitely gives me more lift. I love this sort of wild boho chic. Look that this is giving me and again, the back half is all styled back and then just that front half is the center part. So let me know what you think of this half center part half horizontal styling for the part or let me know which part you like on your hair best. If you like, the diagonal, the the horizontal ladder parting, the little shallow diagonal just at the front play around, let me know what you think: i'd love to hear all about it. Thank you so much for watching. Please hit that subscribe button. That notification bell. I upload videos every week and i look forward to seeing you next time.

Dee Silver: This is EXACTLY what I need. I have a hard time styling “half” of the crown area. I can’t wait to try these to see which one is best for my hair.

Cynthia Rodriguez: Bingo! I finally got it! Thank you so much! I never understood why my very long 2c/3a hair looks great sometimes and soso other times, after styling. Finally, I can get my hair to look good all the time following your guide. I never learned how to style/set my hair while wet. Love you girl!

Heather Sears: I had never heard of the horizontal part! Total game changer. Thank you for helping me create a part that looks more natural with nice volume!

lmkasper: For the first time in my life, I am happy with my curls and it all started with this video. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but my confidence has gone up immensely. Thank you so much for helping me!

Irma G: I got a cut to help, but I could not get my hair into a style that I liked. The top of my hair was always so flat no matter how many clips I put in. Then I watched this video and guided half the top of my hair to the back. Wow! What a difference a small change can make! Your videos are the most helpful for my type of wavy/curly hair on Youtube. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Misha Mehta: I’ve always done my center part the same way as you to keep the volume at the crown. Good to know I’m not alone! After years of having the same part (either center or off to the side), I’m excited to try the ones you’ve shown here. Thank you!!

wendy camassar: This video is so helpful! I've watched it multiple times! I've been wearing mine more toward the center lately, and thanks to you, I can get some volume at the crown, parting it like you do here. At 51, I'm still trying to figure out my hair (but it keeps changing as I age.). Thank you for making these tutorials

Diana Lujan: This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. Can’t wait to try it. Thanks!

Minna Uyeda: I never thought the center part would look good on me, but it’s not bad. Traditionally my hair dries in a set slightly left part, but then I find when nearly dry if I flip it over I get a nice volume part. I love the zig zag!

Cindy: Thanks for the tips. I've never tried doing the zig-zag or the deep diagonal part before. I'll need to experiment with those! Can you do a video on the products you use (from start to finish)? Or just let us know here in the comments? You hair looks so healthy and moisturized. Would love to know how you get it (and keep it) that way. Thanks from your neighbor up north (Toronto Canada).

Sun Moon & Rising Phoenix: Can I just say....You are a GODSEND!! I love my whole head of hair EXCEPT the front area due to me never being able to quite get the parts right. I have tried looking at pictures and mimicking what I think I'm looking at, and it barely ever turns out right. Only if I was lucky. But since trying your ways, I'm back in love with all of my hair, due to the front finally looking uniformed with the rest of my hair. You are greatly appreciated!!! :-)

Lovin sweety: I usually style the crown the horizontal way but guess I'll try the zig zag one too. Thank you for the great tips, much love

zNiteSkiies: Being a dude in a predominantly straight hair family this vid helps keep my long curly hair away from my moms wrath do u diffuse the other parting methods with pixie diffusing or is it just the pseudo center part?

StrictlyC: I an impressed, never thought to try any of the first three styles. Will try now thank you, great video greetings from sweden

Hema Rathod: With the horizontal parting - after doing the sections - do you just leave it as is? Also do you add the gel before or after parting? Thank you!!! :)

Marylou Brouillard: I love watching those but I always have to adapt them since middle parting is NOT for me! It looks super ugly/weird and I am so happy I started side parting all those years ago

tctcz22: This was so helpful. I am going g to try lifting that crown area with clips. Also want to try ladder part and long diagonal part. Thanks!

Starch With Plants: This is the first video that shows a part on super curly hair somewhat close to mine. Love it! I have a cow lick as well

L.T. Loa: I love the details you give in your videos.

Teresa Large: Oh how I love your hair!!! What styling products do you use?

Life is beautiful: Volume from the Back + Hair off the face That's exactely what I've been seeking for Years

ummey habiba: When I side part my hair it just doesn't stay there when I move my head and goes to the opposite direction..what can I do???

Christine Madrazo: Thank you.

Eleanor Watts: What is that wrap you have round your head please. I like to wet plop mine too, but the drips drive me crazy lol x

Wɛndɪɡoʊ: What products do you use? I have pretty thick n curly brown hair and product never really worked well for me. It usually just dried and makes it crunchy lol I'll be trying your middle part though. For years mine has just been on the side and I hate it.

ana 🪷: ur a life saver

Thea B: beautiful hair.....

ToniAriana: Best video on this topic
