How To Hairstyle: A Hair Bun For People With Super Thick/Curly Hair

This really helped me when my dance teacher taught me it. She learned it from one of her teachers when she went to college for ballet. I hope it helps my curly/thick haired girls out there!
Hey everyone, today's video is going to be voiced over and the topic is going to be how to create a button for people with really thick hair. Like me, this is what its gon na look like, not a great picture. I know, but it's actually gon na, be really easy. My dance teachers gon na teach you how to do this and I'm gon na voice-over the parts so pretty much. The first step is going to be splitting the hair into three equal parts or, as close as you can get - and this is my ballet teacher doing this to me right now - so split the hair up into three separate parts, and then you just want to start With one of the parts, then just keep twisting it and twist it around the bun just like that. Umm the difference between this technique and some other techniques that you might know is the splitting of it into three parts because for people with really thick hair, like me, it's very difficult to just do one piece of hair twisted because it just comes right out. You are going to need a couple bobby pins for this. You can see me handing her one, and all you want to do is bobby, pin the end of it whenever you finish a twist and then you're just gon na continue on with the twisting just like. So and you just want to keep twisting it around the bun - I actually have done this to myself, so it's not something that only somebody else can do on you as long as you have the bobby pins and everything then you'll be fine umm. So here I'm handing her another bobby, pin you're, probably gon na need a total of three bobby pins and one hair elastic to just kind of go around the whole bun at the very end. At this point, it's looking a little weird but at the very end it's gon na kind of resemble almost like a Cinnabon shape and it's gon na really really last and stay in. So this is what it's looking like so far: um so she's gon na pin that in there and then that's pretty much the entire hairdo. So for those of you with super thick curly hair like me and you do ballet or you just need a nice bun that'll stay here is my advice. I hope you enjoyed this video and this is the finished. Look ciao

Fiona Fornarina: Ah, what beautiful hair! And I like that hair style very much too. But you should definitely comb the hair before making a bun, lest it will cause headache during the day when some strands are pulling more than others on the scalp. I myself wouldn't do a bun with my hair in such a condition - and a handmaiden like in this case should definitely do better.
