4 Curly Summer Hairstyles For Damaged Hair (Tiktok Inspired)

Dear Crew,

It's Thursday, so you know I had to stay consistent. Times are still very tough right now and a lot of change is being made. With every black body being mistreated or murdered, we must push against desensitization and apathy. We must fight to feel because I believe pain and discomfort is the driving force for change. Let's continue to bring these stories to the forefront of the nation and stride in the revolution. This IS the new normal. I love y'all so much and I hope this light-hearted video was able to help you unplug and learn some new styles for your summer 2020 quarantine POP OUT!

DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES

"All Lives Matter."

Yes. All lives do matter, however black lives are under attack and need attention right now. If a house is burning., the fire department will send their fighters to pour water on that one house. This is not because all houses in the neighborhood don't matter, but because that is the only house on fire.

"Racism is all in your head based on emotions."

This is a link to a short, informative animation explaining systemic racism in an easy way to understand better: https://youtu.be/YrHIQIO_bdQ

"I'm not really into politics like that. It's not for me."

Please understand, not "being into politics" or having to care is a privilege within itself. Not having your daily life affected by this is a privilege. This isn't only about politics, but about how you value human life.

"It's horrible they're killing black men right now, but the looting and violence have to stop."

Let's rephrase: It's horrible there's looting and violence right now, but killing black men has to stop. I'm not justifying anything, but I'm also not judging how people choose to riot and protest after they've been abused, mistreated, oppressed for decades with their voice being suppressed. These are real people with real emotions who have real limits. We need prayer. Rioting is the language of the unheard.

"Where's the Christian community in all of this. Seems quiet."

You cannot love Christ and hate his creation at the same time.

This video was recorded prior to the death of George Floyd Brianna Taylor and David McKay. Tea. Please view the description box for the opportunity to help, because there you will find petition links, donation links, protests, information and educational resources. I will also leave a link to my black lives matter, video down below. I wanted to update you guys, unless you know that the officer responsible for George's death has been charged with the second-degree murder instead of a third degree and other three officers responsible for his death have been recently charged as well. Keep pushing for change guys we're in a simulation, maybe it's summer summer, 20 2014 over. I know that you guys may still be in quarantine. I'M not see I decided in my brain like in the confines of my own home. Of course, I would just live like it's already summer. You know, like I'm, already living my life. Everything is fine Korona, who I don't know. I have some detox water. I was gon na put lemonade, but then my skin said, but a watch it girl. So today I'm thinking like I'm at a resort right, that's where I am in my head. I didn't hit the beach and want to do my hair, real cute and then I was like oh my gosh summer, 2020 hairstyles. It'S got to go up. I have some bangin looks, I'm not gon na lie. I am too Chuck inspired. These girls are beauticians, hair, stylists, professionalist specialists, and you know I was really like wow. I need to stop my YouTube game up. Cuz they're, taken over without further ado Co. Friends. I need you to just go ahead and get your products ready. Clink clink drinks up okay, so I'm starting off with a regular towel across my shoulders, because wet hair is ill sticky, I'm going to dampen my whole head because it's just easier to manipulate your curls when there's less tangles and it's not as big okay. So now I'll, oh, keep it up. The next step is so. This is a journey for you and me both I'm parting, my hair with a wide tooth comb down the middle, but I don't have to go all the way back and I'm just gon na do spangle my curls. There may be some other kinks because I have it moisturizer in the wild, so I'm using this Jessie's, it's the celli soft curls. This is a styler and you can use multiple ones, including eCos, gel, if you're comfortable with that I'll list, a few alternatives down below. But I put that all throughout my hair and I left two little pieces out and then you're like, oh my god, hoo-ee but listen. I have blue circles in the client, I'm not saying it's perfect, but whatever then I took a scarf. Oh you've been moving kind of fast. I took a scarf folded, it in a triangle, half form and tied it around, and I finger killed the two pieces in the front. So it looks a little bit more lively and I'm taking my Denman brush just to quickly define each girl. Okay, this one we're gon na pick up the pace a little bit so catch it. Fine coin is ready. I'M gon na split it into four or five parts on the top of my head, so you can use your discretion on what you think is a big enough section. Then I'm gon na take my eco styler gel. I think it's the flaxseed line and brush my edges back and continue to twist my hair a little bit to my ear and then stop we're not twisting all the way. So I'm gon na continue on doing that for about four or five sections something important. I wanted to know I'm not the best at explaining how to twist or braid, but I'm gon na try my best. You take two sections of hair and you repeatedly pick up a new one, each time you twist them over each other. If that makes sense, you want to pick up from the bottom now I'm going to just rewrite my hair and use my Denman brush to define my curls. This was really easy when you don't want a finger to fine. So now I'm gon na take some little gold hair jewelry. I got from the beauty, supply store and it just adds a little bit more poof, because when you have dark hair like this, a lot can be enough to massage. You know what I mean I want to. Let you guys know right now that I just realized. I did not twist my hair back, so we're gon na we're gon na, do a guard and go to the next aisle, so I actually did a variation of this other style and my Snoop Dogg braids hair tutorial, if you guys are interested. It'S still on my page, but today we're gon na do twist and we're gon na make them higher up. You want to start by sectioning your hair into about four or five. I think I did around five sections and with each one we're going to spray with water because again we're manipulating it. We need to be easy to move around easy to, remove and all that stuff. Then we're going to use our Denman brush and brush out the kinks I like to use Shea moistures jamaican black, castor oil leave in for some moisture and we're gon na tie it up to our head relatively high, because we want no. No, we just want it to be popping okay, I don't know what else to tell you. So that is the first thing to do with your sections, I'm taking the tropical roots, sculpting foam. You can get this at any beauty, supply store and I'm going to start with three sections and braid it a few times over and then I'm gon na stop and take the outermost strand and bring it all the way back to the inside. If that makes sense, I think that if you just watch me for a little bit, I'm not gon na see this clip up you'll be able to get the hand hang of it. Sorry, but it's caught a three strand twist and really we're just taking this on outside, bringing it all the way over to the inside. So for this last hairstyle guys we're gon na be wetting our ponytails once again using our trusty demin brush to sweep it up higher and we're gon na just tie it like that. You want to make sure to wet both of the ponytails just to make sure that the curls are defined. I'M actually gon na take a piece of hair and wrap it around my hair tie as well. This is a trick you can do with any hairstyle where you don't want the hair by the show I'm gon na go in and finger curl some parts of my hair, because the Denman just wasn't enough in this case, and that's it funny how you thought this Was over, I tricked you, so if you made it all the way to this part - and let me know in the comments you want to braid your ponytail stupid tight, because when you wrap it around itself, you want to be able to see that detail. I actually didn't like, but he's in the front cuz. I thought it was just too much going on with the buns. You can totally leave it like that if you want, but I was super lazy and I just brushed them back and daddy pinned it. But if you wanted to make this look super and clean, you could totally just take that already-existing ponytails and then we do everything, I'm so tired, okay, guys! So it's 1:00 in the morning on the cruise deck. Turning up living my life, it's crazy, um, but in all seriousness summer is among us. These hairstyles are a must quick simple, so I'm gon na make quick, but you know I encourage you guys to try these looks out and yeah. That'S all I have for you today. I will see you guys in the next one make sure make sure to LIKE comment subscribe. Okay, thank you guys so much for watching. Please remember to check the description box for links to help out
