Half Up, Half Down Natural Hair Tutorial | Type 4 Hair | Medium Length | The Curly Closet

Hello Kellie's its Mary. This tutorial is going to be ultra simple. It is simply a half-up half-down style on natural hair, so stay tuned for the tutorial. So this is what you will need. You will need a spray bottle with some water, some gel a bull bristle brush some stretchy hair bands and also one really strong hairband for the front of your hair, and that's it so. To begin with, my hair was parted down the middle and I'm just making and another parting with my fingers going down from the middle down to my ear on either side, and then I am just securing either side with a stretchy hairband and from here. I also go on to taking another hairband and just loosely holding the back of my hair in place. So now I'm taking out the front of my hair and I'm just basically smashing all of my hair together. I am spraying it with some water from my spray bottle just to make it really moldable, because my hair is going to be going up and I would just want it to lay as flatly and sleek sneaky as possible. And then here I'm adding some gel to just my sides and the front of my hair, because this is the bit of a hairstyle that's going to show. So I want to make sure that it just looks as neat and as sleek as possible. So I'm using my boar bristle brush for this process so from here. I just make sure that the front of my hair is secure and in the right place, and then I just wrap my wreath: it Carib and around twice, which holds it really nicely. And then I spray some water on my top puff or top bun, and I just fluff it out and shape it in whichever way I want to, and then I just used my bull bristle brush again, just to make sure that everything is really nice and sleek And neat at the front, and I leave I take the hair bands out and let the back all my hair out and then the rest is basically up to you. You can fluff it or Pat your hair down as much as you like. You can just make it basically into the shape that you prefer it to be, and their style is done.
