Hey there, it's joe here from yes, hair australia and i'd like to introduce you to my beautiful model today, mary say hi, mary amazing. Well, i wanted to use mary today just to show you some tips for how to use the yes hair claw clips. So for those of you who have not seen these babes, there is seven i'm bringing them all up, seven different colors, so you have got beautiful olive, green, a lovely, um, kind of more mid hot pink. It'S not like a full-on hot, pink. You'Ve got a nice navy, a black terracotta, a bone and a blush pink. So these have a beautiful matte finish, really nice strong clasp and they really fit in amazing, thick hair. So i'm gon na work with the bone color today, because i feel like it's gon na stand out, so you can see what i'm doing in mary's hair um. One of my favorite things to do with these clips is to put them on my handbag. Even if i'm not going to wear them, but it's just a cute little accessory on the strap of your bag and then if it gets super windy, while you're out for the day you've got something you can just tie around. It doesn't dent your curls um because it's not like a hair elastic, so it's really great. If you know you don't want to sabotage your curls, you can easily just claw your hair back um with some style. So, first up, i'm going to show you how to do the half up half down look, so all i would do is choose the amount of hair you want to pull back. If you want to keep a little bit of hair down at the front, you could totally keep a few nice little curls down at the front. It'S completely up to you and you are just going to pull the hair back and then grab your wonderful claw. Clip put that in now one of the best things about claw clips is once they're in place. You can lightly open them and just kind of perfect the shape that you have at the top. So it's almost like you're molding, the form of it. So you don't have to take it out, so just be cautious, don't let go and open it completely because your hair will fall out, but just a light open. Take the pressure off and you can just do a little gentle poke and pull and make sure you've got a really nice outer form. Another tip you can do is kind of hold and regroup. If you need to pull things in but um, sometimes everything will fall out when you do that, so just be cautious and then you would just fluff around the outside really define these nice little pieces that are hanging out or if you choose to have your fringe Out a little bit like sweet mary. Okay, here we go so that is a really nice look hair off the face. You could decide whether you bring this forward depending on your style um, but gorgeous party happening at the back super chic um without denting. All of your curls okay, so that's look number one. Now look number two. We are gon na go for something a bit lower um. This is quite a classic look which i feel like um classic is still good. You don't have to disregard it, so you could choose to do a center part with this, you could choose to just do a full straight back completely depends on what part of your face you're, trying to accent or detract from so for now, we're just going to Do a slightly off-center part um if you're nearing the end of your wash week like mary is um. Sometimes i do go through and do a tiny bit of backcombing here um. The reason for that is: it's super nice when we have that fullness in the crown. So if you feel like you've, got a bit of bed hair but you're trying to revive it, just make sure you put some little effort into the crown. First, it'll make the world of difference so we're coming in scooping all the hair in to the lower um part of your nape and we're just going to do the classic twist and up now, when i do this, i try to not, over twist and twist and Twist it up, i find when say if i brought mary's hair and i twisted and it twisted, and i twisted, i would pull out all of the shape here and distort this front shape, so just grab loosely, keep it soft in your hands. Um keep your hands loose and just lightly hold on to your curls, pull a little bit away from the nape. Here you can kind of see my hands back a bit and you're just gon na do a twist up. I anchor in one side. First, i'm choosing that side, it's more natural for me and then you can feel it on your scalp when it's in the right spot. So sometimes you might just have to dig in a little bit. Mary doesn't give me a lot of feedback but um. I could feel her scalp, so that's a really great! You can kind of see that she would move around a bit and nothing's going to come out of place, so you've got nice form, we've brought it down low, but kept a little bit of face framing here. So just keep it loose and pull your hand that tiny bit away from the nape before you twist up and put in your claw clip. Okay, that's look number two. Now we're going to change colors for look number three. This personally is my favorite color, the terracotta um. I just adore terra cotta. So now we are going to do um. My pa taught me this elsa, so we're going to do what is called the bun, so we're going to do it up higher some of mary's hair will fall out, but this is more for our long head curly. This look. So if you are someone with long hair - and you feel like all you ever do is put it in a bun. This is a nice way to feel like you're kind of wrapping, a more glamorous bun without all of the hair ties and stuff. So you're just going to pull the hair right up. You could either flip your hair upside down, like i also would and twist at the top kind of like for what we just did with the classic um pull, and you just pull the tail down here. Clip over the top and if mary didn't have short layers here and had longer hair you'd have like a nice sweet little tail sticking out there, which i find is super lovely. So let me just do that again, try and see if i can hide in all of these loose bits, so we're coming up as high as you feel comfortable one kind of half twist and then just hold this top section here, catch your tails and clip once You'Ve got this bun bit here. You can just kind of pull it out if you feel like it's not giving you enough shape. There um expand that out a bit, and this here will give you a really nice variation to just putting your hair up in a bun on the top of your head. So that is option number three now that style can also be done as a low version. So choose whether you i feel like, if you're going to do a low version of this you're, probably kind of in a younger category. So i would be doing a middle part for this look. Um, maybe leave a tiny little bit out at the front and you'd be coming in probably to about the middle of the middle of the head kind of just a little bit up from your ears, and you would twist it down and it's quite hard doing it. On mary, i need to hold you still mary, let's go again: she's wiggling, so you're coming in twisting over it's kind of like an upside down french roll, this voila and then adjust through the top here, just tweak out where you want. Obviously, it's super feminine to have some nice fullness at the crown, but have a look at that. It is amazing right. So if your hair was super long, you could possibly draw it um. You know it's kind of like having a ponytail except it's not like you're. In high school, so beautiful work, style, beautiful, weekender style, beautiful crap, i woke up and my hair looks manic, i'm just gon na part. It down pull a bit of rouging through the top and just clip it in place. This is your go-to okay, so we've given you four kind of different ways to wear your claw clips. Five. Technically, if you count the handbag accessory for you just in case um, it's like having a mary poppins bag, except we don't um, have the magical powers of mary poppin, so make sure you head online, purchase a beautiful claw, clip um. If you order over a certain amount at the moment, you get one free anyway, so that's exciting and yeah be in it to win it but enjoy ditching. The hair tie. Hair ties is so 2 000 and we're in 2020. Now so 20 21. We um it's time to up our styling game and accessorize again, ladies so enjoy, and thanks for watching see you later
