Hi guys welcome back to my channel so today I'm going to do a really quick, how-to video on how to get your really really curly, hair straight and slicked back into a nice slick ponytail. I know it may sound like common sense, but I know a lot of trillionaire. Girls have trouble with getting their hair, pulled back all the way and flat and sleep without blowing it out or straightening it, and I know that a lot of people are avoiding heat, especially when you have curly hair you like to avoid heat. So I'm going to show you guys the products that I use and the technique that I do to get my hair, nice and slick and pull back to the point that people think that my hair is flat iron or something. But it's not. It'S done completely wet hair, no heat involved at all um, and you don't have to worry about any curly pieces coming out here. They'Re throughout the day. It stays like that literally all day and if you put a scarf on or something on at night and stay like that into the next thing, I'm going to show you guys the products that I use, your techniques, that I do. I usually like to start off on freshly washed hair or Co washed hair. So right now I'm going to go use my coconut a co-wash buy as I am. I think I think that's what is caught as I am coconut cohosh. I'M going to do setting I'll, be right back and show you guys your techniques and other products. Okay, so my hair is nice and clean. I think I have any products in it. The key to getting your ponytail to be completely flat into your sleep is to leave your hair soaking wet. Do not wring it out next thing that you want to do. Is you want to apply some type of leave-in conditioners, I'm applying my favorite right now, which is the Shea Moisture Jamaican black, castor oil, leave-in conditioner? You want to apply a generous amount throughout your whole head and finger detangle. Then I like to take a white tooth comb and go back and just make sure everything is nice in an untangled. I don't have any kinks or anything and then, if you want to do a park, you go ahead at this point. As you make your car, of course, I'm going to do a side part after you make your part, of course, we'll go in with the comb one more time, and then I'm going to use gel. You want to use some type of styler or something that I hold. This is the eco styler argon gel, and I really really like this one. It doesn't dry your hair out. It doesn't break your hair off like close our clear eyes, and it keeps your hair completely flat, smooth and slick and also does not flake up and leave like little white flakes or little crumbs it just which is a really really good jail, so that you want To take some type of brush, not one, that's too hard and not one! That'S too soft like right in the middle, and you want to slip your hair down what they don't make sure all the gel is brush in then I like to take the paddle brush and just go through one more time to make sure all of the kinks Are out and everything is laying nice and flat all the strands are straight, then I go back over with the brush and then I begin to put it in the ponytail: do not use a rubber band or you see, use rubber bands and it will rip your Hair out just like to use like the cloth hair ties. So then, after you do that, I like to go in with some type of conditioner um. I just and put it on my ponytail. You can leave it at this step or you can make a pun or you can do what I'm going to show you guys in a bit, because I'm not comfortable right now with the length and my hair is just where my ponytail is we're going to add. Adherents absolutely cannot forget the baby here, so go ahead and get a to Thresh and then align your baby hair. However, you like it, the spot is the part that has the most hair. I never like to leave it completely straight. I'D like to do kind of a wavy pattern: um I take the two brush in my finger and just hold it down and create kind of a way. So this is the part that I'm talking about these pictures, I believe in solar room sequence, resilient hair. So you just want to take a few tracks of hair and bobby things. You just pin the ends into the ponytail and then wrap the tracks around one another. So I'm just taking two pieces just to wrap it around and then making sure that they're secure with the with the bobby pins and then to hide the track. That'S around the base of your ponytail. What you do is you take a bottom piece of the of the hair from the track? Not your right here. You take the bottom piece and you wrap it around the base around the track better at the top, where you put the bobby pins, and this right here will hide the top of the tracks. You can't see it. It just kind of looks like a cute little hair tie, but it's made out of your hair and you just take a bobby pin and you secure the end of the hair that you pull it into the ponytail, and that is it guys hope you like. Did you guys have any comments or questions or concerns leave them below, and I will respond to them all and I said guys later:

Bri Pile: That is the nicest sleek ponytail I've ever seen!

Madeline: You're so beautiful! Been looking everywhere for how to do this style and it really helped!

Denise Wright: Very cute. I have the a similar hair texture to yours and although I have been doing this for years, you taught me how to perfect my ponytail. Thanks for sharing.

LovelyOne: Thank you for this tutorial!!! It's so simple, yet i never tried to do it on my hair. I feel like i have too much hair to slick it all down evenly, especially in the back. I'm definitely going to give it a try now. If it turns out right i'll have to give you a shout out. New Subbie!!! -XxXLovelyOneXxX

danaedaily: This video has helped me so much! I had so much left over hair I spent too much money on to be sitting around! Thank you love

K.: omg I love this I been wanting to do a ponytail but wasn't exactly for sure how to do it. our hair is the EXACT same so I love your hair videos

Isimeme Edeko: LOVE how sleek your style turned out boo... but I hate how it's hard for thicker, kinkier textured hair, like mine, to lay as flat naturally. Thankfully I found a solution to my problem though so my hair lay flat like yours now too!

jc1384ify: Just watched your video. I have a biracial daughter (she’s 3.5) and I have been working on teaching myself how to braid her hair and I’m getting better at it, but I came across this video because I was looking for a way to keep the frizz/curls tamed around the hairline and parts when I braid it or put it in a ponytail. Will this gel trick work for braids and if so, I like to leave her hair in the braids for a few days at a time, so will it stay looking nice or will I need to reapply the gel? I already use a co wash and leave in on her and detangler. I have tried edge control, but I feel like all that does is make a sticky mess...unless I’m doing it wrong haha Thank You!!

DeAujZhane Nicole: This definitely inspired me to do my hair like this tomorrow! Yess I am going to subscribe. You are so beautiful

Kolorlesssoul: Girl, you did that! Especially with the slicking down part ❤️ just be careful with those clips because I tried using some clip ins for this, left the house, and didn't even know that my clips were visible .

Rello 09: Super cute and simple...I love it!

BreezySims: this is my everyday look lol..love it!

Kelly: Glory!! I took my extensions out recently and HAD to wash my hair today cause my blowout on my natural hair was reverting. I have somewhere to be early a.m. And If I can pull this off everything will be perfect. Thanks. #savedbytheGEL

Naomi Martinez: If your hair is sleek but still waves up, try using curly pony tail instead it will blend eaiser, also for a smoother sleek make sure you're using a hard bristle brush it may take a few tries and a few bobby pins.

FullOfTay: This helped so much when I did my hair

Jayda Nikyah: yes!!! i thought i was the only one who did the ponytail trick!

Victoria LaGrone: When you add the extension to your ponytail will the real hair stay hidden when dry and well?

Jazmin Jordan: Thanks for this tutorial! I use both of these products, and love them. I only use that same EcoStyler Argan Oil gel for my edges though.

Sammy & Nyla: This is so pretty but my hair is so much more frizzy and wavy which is really irratating and i ahye bumps in my poytails but love this!-Nyla

Kimberly Brooks: You make this look so easy! What brush is the first one you used? The baby hairs are so pretty.

Daisy Cullen: Eco styler is a blessing to those edges

Cherokee Chey: Ive done this many times with my curly hair and it still doesnt work. I still get major waves :(

Elizabeth: love this

LashedByDash •: This is cool if your hair is thin and short, wish I could do this to my hair . Good video though
