It'S me too welcome back to my channel, i hope you're all well, okay, when you see my hair like this, you know that it is going to be a wash day and i'm going to be reviewing some sort of products, because i would never come on camera With my hair like this and dare to make a video for you guys with my hair in this state, so let's just cut to the chase, because i can't stand seeing my hair like this anymore, this video - i am going to be reviewing this baby. This is olaplex number eight bond, intense, moisture, mask i've been dying to use it because it is odoplex and if you know me, you know how much i love and advocate odaplex. I also have a video which i'm gon na pop the link for down in the description, and that is reviewing all of the previous ownerplex products, but this baby is new and i have a lot of expectations for this mask. So i really hope that it doesn't disappoint me, because i have a lot of good hair masks that give me great moisture that don't weigh down my hair, so olaplex. You have a lot to prove, but from reviews that i've seen already and what i've researched about this, i have a lot of high hope before i get into it. Let'S talk about you so if you're unfamiliar with olaplex and you haven't yet managed to watch my last video. The reason why i love olaplex so much is because their products - they don't just sort of paper over the cracks and just make the hair look smoother. It actually improves the structure of the hair. So it's permanent not temporary results and that's a claim that a lot of brands can't make. So that's the usp. The unique selling point of olaplex is a permanent result. So number eight, it's a highly concentrated repair mask and, according to the olaplex website, based on clinical results, it is supposed to provide two times shine. Four times moisture six times smoothness - and this is the one for me. 94 of users apparently saw more body after using this mask. I have such fine hair as i've seen every video. So when i saw that figure i was like get me. This mask immediately olaplex. Those are some punch and high figures that you're quoting there. So i can't wait to see if i also i'm in that 94 and see the body, and i see the two percent shine four percent moisture because yeah this hair, it needs all the moisture. So we gon na see just gon na take a look at the ingredients now, so i can see what's in here, okay, so i'm seeing ceramides in here which locks in moisture and speeds up repair. So that's great! I'M seeing avocado oil i'm seeing rose hip oil. I'M seeing a bunch of good oils in here rice, bran oil. All of those oils are great at nourishing dry brittle strands and give us that glossy finish that olaplex is known for so so far so good, oh okay, i'm seeing hyaluronic acid, which is new for a mask. I don't think i've used any masks that have hyaluronic acid in that's more for my skin. I use that in my skin care products, so that will definitely attract more moisture as that's a moisture, attracting molecule that holds a thousand times worth its weight in water. So that's really good and then there is that famous odoplex ingredient that i cannot pronounce and i'm not even going to bother to try and pronounce and embarrass myself on here. So i'm just going to write it on the screen. But yes, this ingredient here is the star olaplex ingredient and that's what gives the twice as much shine four times more hydration six times more smoothness etcetera, and it also helps aid with the repair system. That oneplex is so well known. For so the ingredients look great. I'M the sort of person when i put something in my hair, i like to know what ingredients there are so from the ingredients checklist. That'S looking a-okay always good to have a reads and see what you're putting in your hair just to make sure there's no harmful sulfates or silicones, especially me having curly hair. That is a must. So that's a-okay ingredients wise. Let'S get on and try this mask now. So it says, apply to clean damp hair mid length to ends so i'm now going to go and wash my hair with my oliplex number. Four shampoo come back and apply the mask. So, let's see how we get on because i didn't want to do this, but i got ta show y'all for the before and afters. I have been doing wig life. So excuse me, but yep you can see this hair needs. This hair needs more than help. This hair needs a miracle, be my miracle in a bottle of legs. Please let me go and wash my hair and we can see the transformation from this to hopefully something beautiful because a lot of mercy, okay, guys and we're back. So i have washed my hair. It is not in a good way, i ran it through the towel and i can just see already that it's very dry it's starting to freeze it's just no, so this mask apply to clean damp, mid length. Two ends clean and damp check, use sparingly on the roots and work through with fingers. Okay, that makes sense. I wouldn't put too much of my roots anyway, because i don't like to weigh down my hair. So first impressions do i rip this off. I presume so. I don't wanna, oh okay, so it comes with this little thing and that's quite good and you can put it back inside so there's no way that it can leak, which is great, that's different. I like that. Take that out. This is called an airless pump and it says start with two pumps for shoulder length: hair use more for longer, thicker, hair, okay. I don't have thick hair my hair's quite long, so one pump two pumps - that's definitely not gon na be enough for me, so i'm gon na try three pumps. Okay, let's put my hair down the middle. I'M just gon na do the instructions today and like smooth it on definitely is lightweight feels a bit like a styling cream more than the mask, and it has a subtle sort of orange blossom scent. That is quite common with the olaplex brand okay. So i'm not gon na put a plat that last section i'm just gon na undo it all comb it out already. I can feel my hair is getting some moisture, which is great because my hair needed it like literally. This is the driest that it's been in. A very very long time, very very long time i was even shocked at how dry it was i'm going to be rich. He can add a bit more, so i don't want to waste the product, but my hair isn't that bad? Okay? I haven't put any on the roots. The roots are still very dry, so it said to use sparingly. So i'm gon na put one two and just rub this in all of my roots. Then it says to leave on for ten minutes. So that is what i am going to do. I'M gon na leave this on for 10 minutes and go under a shower cap and yeah come back and then we'll see how the hair is looking and feeling. Okay guys. So it's been 10 minutes. Let'S go and wash this out and see what we got, it does say, recommended tip for the deepest repair possible at home, used with number four intensive bond, building, hair treatment and number three hair protector once a week or is needed. But you guys have already seen me review those products and i did get great results, but i want to review this by itself, not with the other amazing great products. I want to give number eight a full review just using this product. So with that said, let's wash out the mask hair feels good so far it feels so much more moisturized, but let's wash it out and see how it's looking and feeling from there. Okay, so i just rinsed out the mask. It definitely is more hydrated than it was. My hair definitely feels nourished. It definitely has some moisture added to it because it was really really dry. So i'm happy about that. It smells good and, to be honest, i'm not even just saying it. It does feel more voluminous than normal. Do you guys see as more am i just imagining okay olaplex impressed so far, bearing in mind that i didn't add any sort of conditioner or anything to this? So let me style my hair and see how i like it with the rest of my routine, considering i didn't put any sort of conditioner or anything in my hair. It was just this mask, okay, guys, so we're back. So my hair has had time now to fully dry and i've styled it. I did use the oliplex number six bond smoother and the number seven bonding oil this just to give it a bit more hydration and definition, and this to lock in the moisture and also give me some heat protection before blow drying my type of hair. I can't just use a mask and then blow dry out my type of hair. I have to add in some sort of styler just because otherwise it would be a complete and utter mess just to give it some definition and added moisture so back to number eight. How did i feel about it whilst using it, and how do i feel about it now? One thing i can say, though, is: i am a fan of the smart pump. I think it allows for just the right amount of product to be applied. Although i do need to use more than the recommended, then again, it does say use more for the longer thicker hair. It doesn't specify how much for that, but yes the amount it does distribute when you pump, i would say, is about the right amount. So that's something that i am a fan of. I like the fact that the mask isn't greasy, because i followed the instructions, as it said, and i just rinsed out the mask. I didn't shampoo the mask out. I have used masks where i've had to fully shampoo the mask out, but this one, even though you rinse it rinsing, isn't the same as fully cleansing and shampooing the hair. So, although it says rinse thoroughly, i guess there would be some remnants of the mask still in there, which is fine, because it's very lightweight and, as i said it wasn't greasy at all, didn't feel heavy. It just literally feels like a nice lightweight, styling cream with a nice scent with that nice orangey blossom scent that we've come to know with olaplex. Someone with fine hair like me, will get on with this mask because my hair wasn't weighed down at all. It didn't slick my hair down or anything. So it's great for that. Even though i use more than the recommended amount, and i have to say it is quite moisturizing compared to how my hair was before it was literally the driest that my hair has been in. Such a long time and considering i didn't use any sort of conditioner, i didn't use leave-in conditioner, i didn't even use number three. It was literally just this mask my styler and my wondering oil. The moisture is quite nice. It does have body which i was hoping for with this i was hoping i was in that 94 and i can say that my hair does feel voluminous, which isn't something that number six promises. So i'm presuming that that is due to this mask, though. Thank you number eight. I appreciate that and they're just overall considering how my hair looked at the beginning, i was actually even embarrassed to show how bad it was. It was terrible the fact that it was just this mask alone, along with the number four shampoo when it was that 10 minutes and i took off the mask, it was definitely a significant difference. I am really looking forward to trying this, though, with the other olaplex products, i eat my number zero and especially my number three because i have to admit i don't see as much of an olaplex shine as i usually do. Normally i'm like wow the shine, and there is a little bit of shrimp. It'S not as much as when i use my number three so number three to me is still the creme de la creme is still my favorite olaplex product. My only complaint about this mask, though, is that you have to apply it to towel dried hair, which is odd because normally, when you apply a mask, i would get in the shower wash my hair and then apply the mask wet with this one. You have to leave your hair to dry for 10 minutes and then apply it, which adds on actually 10-15 minutes to my routine. I wish it was just a situation where i could just shampoo. The hair then put the mask straight on get out and leave for 10 minutes, but this one you have, it has to be damp to dry. So that's the only thing that i'm like really and it could have been a bigger bottle: 100 ml olaplex. Please give us more give us more, but this is a great addition and i will definitely be adding this to my olaplex routine and i would definitely be repurchasing this when this ends. This is a fantastic mask and yes, it does live up to the hype. So well done olaplex. I would definitely repurchase this product again and i'm really looking forward to using it with my number three and the rest of my owner products products, i'm so pleased.
