How To Diffuse Curly Hair

Hey guys, it's rebecca welcome back to my channel if you're new here make sure to definitely subscribe in today's video, i'm showing you guys my diffusing routine, i'm going to show you guys how i diffuse my hair, the heat setting the technique. I use all that stuff and if you like to see how i do that then make sure to keep watching. So you guys know, i really don't diffuse my hair that much, but when i do, i want to make sure i'm doing it right right now. It is 8, 34 p.m. On a monday school night - and i just finished refreshing my hair, i wanted to show you guys how i'm going to diffuse, because i'm going to diffuse right now, so i thought let me film this to the fuse. I use the diva curl diva dryer. This is a pricey pricey pricey hair dryer, but i think it works really. Nice do. I think it's worth 150 bucks. No, but i think it works very nicely on the hair dryer. I use the two setting and at first i don't use any diffuser at all. I use medium and i use the cool shot button when i want to add some coolness to make sure i'm not using too much heat on my hair, even though it's low heat and i'll just do one or two and i'll just go around my hair. Just like that, going everywhere, and then when my hair is like 70 dry, i will go in with this diffuser attachment. This is from curl keeper. It'S their collapsible diffuser attachment it's perfect for storage because it closes like that and you just open up to put it on and it fits on this hair dryer perfectly and then once you put it on it's a diffuser like that, like literally two seconds boom diffuser. So what i always do before i diffuse my hair is - i put my earpods in when i got these. I was like literally diffusing. Won'T give me a headache anymore, because i like to just watch tick tocks or watch youtube, while i'm trying my hair, because it gives me something to do while i'm just sitting here going like this. It'S a lot better than staring at the wall. So, let's start diffusing, so my so so so so so i just diffused my hair for about 30 minutes and, as you can clearly see, my hair is not dry. It is, i would say, 60 70 dry, but i'm not going to sleep right now. I'M probably going to take a shower in about an hour, so i'm going to let my hair air dry for an hour just finish drying as much as it can before. I put it up to shower and then i'm going to let it dry even more throughout the night until the next day, and i will come back tomorrow to show you guys how my hair looks, but i never completely diffused my hair till it's completely dry, because This isn't some magical diffuser that dries my hair in 5 or 10 minutes. If it did, that would be amazing, but it really doesn't and i'm not going to diffuse my hair for over an hour when i can do 30 minutes at max and then air dry for a little bit, because i am not going to sit here and diffuse. My hair for an hour, definitely not going to so i'm gon na go relax for an hour because i finished all my homework and then yeah i'll see you guys tomorrow, it's the next day. This is how my hair looks after sleeping on it and going to school, and this is how my hair looks so diffusing definitely helps with my definition and with shrinkage, because you can see my hair does look pretty short. Usually it's like right here, but now you know it's just sitting right here and i don't mind that at all and you can see, i do have a lot of volume as well with my definition, so diffusing definitely adds volume and definition. For me, it doesn't just do one it kind of helps with both, because with air drying, your curls kind of a little more elongated and diffusing makes your hair dry faster, which causes more shrinkage and gives me these amazing results. This is my diffusing routine and again, i do not diffuse every single day, definitely not at all, but when i do diffuse, i want to make sure i have a good routine that works, and this definitely does, if you guys like this video, please make sure to Give it a thumbs up, comment down below?
