How To: Encourage Growth & Hydrate Curly Hair

This is how I personally maintain my length and keep my hair hydrated. Using a combination of oil treatments and hair masques (My hair loves 'em), I really notice a difference.

I purchased the masques and Oils at my local hair & beauty store.

Like I said, you can pick and choose between each of them or do all three if you have the time! Your hair will always thank you for it.

Thank you so much for watching curly wurlies x x x

I am on day four hair right now and you can see it is so dry. I often noticed that my hair just soaks up all of the moisture. I always apply the matter how much I buy. So I'm going to show you guys my hot oil treatment and my deep conditioner and my protein treatment that I do once a week to make my hair moisturized. So if you want to see those then keep watching and yeah, I sort this out. I try my best to maintain my hair's moisture as much as possible, which is why I definitely recommend everyone dedicate some time to do kind of treatments and oils. I have the Jamaican black castor oil. Not only does it help solve dry brittle hair, but it also helps with breakage and dandruff. I also have a coconut oil which are used sometimes which really helps with moisture shine and prevents breakage, but today I'm choosing to use the castor oil. I would usually heat up the oil, because the heat opens up the hair cuticles and that normally allows the product to get into the hair shaft. But today I chose to just dive straight in and do it all. Your literally need is the applicator and a little definitely goes a long way with this stuff, but yeah obviously just found something from my hair. As you do, curly girls will just section my hair and yeah just focus on the roots and ends mostly until it's just fully coated. Okay, guys so once I've saturated the oil onto my ends mostly and through my hair. To be honest, I focus mostly on my ends and my roots, but yeah once I put on the ends, I'm gon na focus on my scalp and I'm gon na kind of give my scalp a massage, so yeah, I'm just going to do that right now. Okay, so I'm targeting my roots, obviously, because, apparently, if you apply castor oil regularly to your roots and scalp, it not only prevents dry hair, but it can really promote hair growth. So I just make sure that I completely coat my hair also just to clarify you. Don'T have to do all three of the treatments in one week. You can kind of pick and choose that's what I do. It depends on what your hair needs that week, basically, but each to their own once it's all kind of over my hair. I tie it in a satin wrap and I just basically leave it to soak all up for as long as possible. I'Ll usually use a Shea Moisture shampoo to wash it all out, and my hair is feeling good after. If I don't do that, then I'll go on to a protein treatment or deep conditioning the moment. Treatment says that it will deeply hydrate repair, damaged, hair and give incredible shine. So this is what I'll do when I need some of that in my life and then the other treatment, which is the olive oil treatment. This is meant to leave your hair, silky and healthy, provide essential vitamins and strengthen weak, brittle hair, helping it grow longer. That sounds good to me. So when my hair is fresh out, the shower I've got no product in that is when I'll choose to apply it, I'm choosing the protein treatment today and yeah. I basically just apply the whole pack all over my hair. I do focus a lot on the ends because I always want them to be as moisturized as possible, so I'm just going to go ahead and apply. All of that once I feel like the product is all applied nicely I'll leave in for about half an hour. You could always use a heat cap or, if you're in the shower the steam would help anyway, we all leave it past an hour until I feel like it's ready to wash out. I was actually really happy with the results. My hair was shiny and moisturized, and I do this once a week, if not the deep conditioner so yeah. Thank you for watching guys. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments bye.
