What'S good everybody, the sisters are back with yet another styling tutorial. If you don't know who we are, I'm Mel, I'm very good at hair, a professional actually and I'm Amanda Mel sister, but I'm not very good at hair. I do try my best, though, and together we create content on this channel, to teach you how to take better care of your hair and, of course, look cute well in this video we're going to be sharing how we achieve both an intermedia braid and a beginner Level braid for those of you who are very familiar with braiding or got very familiar with braiding like myself, but you still want to be able to flip the braids in and breathe out. Both of these styles, the braids in and the briefs out, are perfect for someone. If you are a little bit lazy with your hair in the summertime or if you are very active. Both these Styles only require one dialing product from an affordable, curly, hair care line. Molly moisture we have partnered with them today to share their Girl, quench and coconut oil collection, and so with no further ado. Let'S get to it so step one to start and to make this style last all the way to the braid out stage. You want to start on clean hair. Today we are both using my moistures curl punch and coconut oil collection. We have been using this line from Maui moisture for a few months now. You may have already seen it on the channel and on Instagram a few times and honestly for such an affordable option. The results are amazing. What I like about these products is that they contain a blend of coconut oil and Piatt butter. Also, they are very rich in aloe vera. This makes them very good for this look and will explain why collection office of conditioned curls, reduce frizz and improve overall curl definition, as well as braid out definition. So now that were washed, so brush is so clean. It is time to begin the product. We'Re using today is a one and done type of product. We are using mountain oysters, curl, quench and coconut oil smoothly. Why we're going for product like this is because it really provides a balance of everything that you need for a look like this is very sick and creamy texture. The first ingredient is aloe vera, which acts as like a gel. So that's gon na provide a good amount of hold and definition to the breeds and is also very hydrating and moisturizing, which makes it perfect for today's look exactly what I'm done. The minimalists are gon na love, this style too. If you're lazy, we got you baby, but please be advised not to do this hairstyle on farmgate, because this will be, and on that note, let's get to it. Our hairs are nice and hydrated. That'S enough! Now you wan na make sure you here's our hydrated, but we're not going crazy right here. Okay, here is not gon na, be soaking wet. No, it's just like it's dead. What they're? Also, I just want to mention how soft my hair feels it was looking after the waters we can't wash. My hair was just for some reason. I tried some new product and my hair is so dry and brittle and built disgusting, and you guys saw that before this tutorial. So I'm very happy that it's back to feeling moisturize, I needed that wash anyways, so whoa make sure you're hydrated but not soaking wet, because otherwise your hair is never going to dry and that's not good. You know the one I have to dry quickly and efficiently. So just would enough that you're not pulling and tugging at your hair. You want to make sure it has good slip and is tangle free. This is a very heavy product. It'S heavy! It'S very jam-packed with you know: Larry, it's heavy ingredients, but that's what you want right. You want to hold it down. This style is going to give you a really really nice definition and also helps to tame any crazy volume. If you have a lot of hair, you have coarse hair apply a little bit more, but what I applied is like more than enough for my curls. You can see what that looks like when I bring the hair, I'm hydrated and I'm gon na make sure that the hair is, you know, not dripping you don't want it to be very wet. I want to make sure I remove any excess, as well as any excess water, so wring it out very important. High porosity Curly's like me, make sure that your hair is not too too wet and too hydrated. It will not dry, it will take forever. So for the braids we're gon na part, our hair, we're going to use a wide tooth comb and you can section part your hair. However, you want, but I recommend, if you are looking to have this look good when it's in and when it's out to do a zig zag parting. This will help you keep some volume and when you do take the braids out, you don't see that harsh straight part. It blends much nicer if you need help sectioning first start by brushing all of your hair backwards, so using a wide tooth comb position. The comb firmly in your hand, you are not moving the comb you're moving your whole arm. The very last tooth of the comb is where you want to place it on your part. This is gon na help to separate the sections. So, starting from your hairline, you want to drag it back, we're dragging it back kind of Criss crossing to the other side. It makes it much easier to keep that finger on the last tooth of the comb and follow through and cross and keep doing this until you reach the back of your neck, to keep a clean section and to make sure that you are not moving the comb Around now, once you have nice clean sections parted where you want it make sure your hair is nice and detangled at all times and clip one section away: one step at a time now: listen up everybody listen up and watch closely Vanna Duman! If you need to, but also so I'm gon na go first, I'm going to show you exactly what I'm doing and then, since maybe you don't know how and Amanda does does not know how no idea, how I'm going to try to coach you through it. So first watch me and then follow along sounds good, sounds good. Okay, Amanda, maybe go behind the camera watch me watch me very, very close, so keep your brush nearby. It is so important to keep the hair tangle free and smooth, while putting the braids in to start the braid. Finally, you want to take a small kind of triangular section at your front: hairline, the smaller the section, the closer the braid will be to your face and the larger the section the further back. It is going to start and you'll see that when we do Amanda's braids so you're going to divide this in three and begin the stitch of the braid. To do that, you are always bringing the side to the center by crossing it under so one side. At a time now you can see I'm taking that first section that was closest to my hairline and I'm crossing it under so now that each side has had its chance to cross over to the middle. Before you repeat, and do it again, you are going to add in more hair and you can see what I'm doing. If you have nails it makes it very helpful because you can take clean sections and that's what you want to do. You can see I'm taking a clean slice, and my section that I'm taking is about an inch wide. Every section that I take is going to be about an inch wide. You want to keep it around the same size for consistent braid out results, anyways, I'm taking that slice, adding it into that piece and then crossing it over to the center. You just continue that continue to brush the hair throughout. So you keep it really neat and tidy again. I cannot stress this enough, but this is very important for the braid out so that your hair doesn't look frizzy and is entangled so keep brushing it through and continue to cross to the center take hair and cross. It to the center take care and cross it to the center, take care of yourself, because this can be a little frustrating, but just cross it to the center and soon enough you make it to the end and you're just going to continue braiding weaving that stitch Crisscross criss cross criss cross criss cross and when you get to the end, tie it with a little elastic finger, coil your little tip, and that is it did you get all that, so this is for the people that are very coordinated with their hands for the Uncoordinated people like Amanda and I need that in the most respectful way, no no shade this whole thing could have just gone right over your head. I think if you're like me, I feel it on other people bring this eye, but all myself it's a whole different story, so we're going to show a modified version for people like me. Who are a little bit, it's really heavy. I don't have. I don't have to stand it up right now. I just don't so. Let'S do this month by version. Yes, okay, excellent! So great great sir, if this is your section, we're gon na split it in two from the crown of your head, we're going to draw a line with our comb to the back of the ear. Now keep the back section clipped out of the way and you're gon na just deal with the front brush it back. This also works very well little girls visiting moms out here. This is really important. You want to make sure the hair is as smooth with a brush as possible, so using a brush with many bristles for attention to smooth everything. I'M brushing this section upwards. You know that lifted. Look facelift, I'm going to separate this whole section into three. So we're really just doing a regular braid here like so all the sections are really clean and from here we're going to be doing a Dutch braid, which is an inverse braid. It'S underneath so you're bringing the outer section to the center classic three strand braid. Obviously, the braided hair closest to the scalp is going to be the thickest, the goofiest, and then it goes thinner as you reach the eggs because of layers and hair fall, and it's just what naturally happens. The vertical skinnier about halfway is when you are going to pause, clip that away and now you're going to incorporate this into that bottom. Half okay, so we're gon na make. This is all nice and brushed smooth same thing here. Split it in three got one two: three, it's always easier to keep your grip on the sections close up to the root. This helps you get it nice and tight. Now hold those three sections around your braid, and this is where your assistant can help Mendham. You need to hold the braid there. So what about the halfway mark? I'M going to connect the section, so one of the parts try to keep the section sizes the same thickness. That way when you take it out, it all looks really nice and even keep it detangle. Keep it clean. So there's no French braid happening it's not stuck to the scalp. The trickiest part might be connecting the two here, but it's going to be much easier to do then attached to the scalp braid that I have right here and before the braid gets too thin at the bottom. I don't like to continue it all the way, because then the bottom is going to be a tighter crimp than up here. So stop the braid, where it's thick enough and then twirl finger coil the ends make sure they brush through make sure they have product on them. So they look nice and defined. You look smashed Amanda. This is a hack. This is a life hack. If I ever did see one, it looks cute like it works, it totally works now, you'll see these are both going to give different looks because my braid is attached to the root it's gon na be more curled and crimped at the root, whereas Amanda is gon Na be a little bit looser at the root, but still super cute when I ride like that it just it warms my tummy, so now we're going to do the other side off-camera. Now that you know how to do both the intermediate / professional professional version of doing the braid and the beginner / modified version, we're just going to go ahead and do the other side off-camera and the end. You should look like this and now that your braids are in they look super cute like this, but if you're waiting to take them out make sure they completely dry, you know they're dry when you feel them and they're not cold, they don't feel cold and damp. So feel the braids, please be patient, let your braids dry! If you need to speed up the process, just simply hover diffuse with your blow-dryer or if you have a bit dryer than even better, you don't mind me taking these braids out while you're as wet. It'S just gon na defeat the whole purpose. It'S no all go to ships. Yes, please don't! Please! We need to be patient. Patience is a virtue. If they are still wet, then you can just easily sleep with them overnight, but make sure you are wrapping your hair to keep them smooth and frizz free and we'll show you how to do that. If you're gon na wear a bonnet, that's great, but because your hair's gon na be slipping and sliding a lot in the bonnet, it may continue to create frizz. So I'd rather you wrap it snug or on your head with a headscarf we're going to show you how we quickly do that right now. So these are our square head scarves that we fold it in half to now have a triangle we're going to grab the braids and crisscross those in the back of our head. Then we're gon na take our scarf and hug it along the back of our head and bring the two long sides to the front where we are going to tie the knot and then tuck in those ends. So if you need to just make sure you're sleeping overnight with your braids protected in here, that's gon na really prevent any flyaways. If you do plan on wearing the braids next day and also prevent the braids from bending and turning so that when you do take the braids out you're, not getting weird indents mm-hmm and speaking of taking the braids out, I think it's time. That'S we're dry, we're not cold. We'Re ready, y'all ready. The big reveal. This is what we've been waiting for. I mean again, so you want to gently: remove the braids from the bottom up just unraveling stitch by stitch. You can already see how juicy and how shiny her hair looks not to mention it smells amazing and what's really great about this style, is that we only use one product and we're not left with any frizz. Now, if you are loving the low volume, the definition just like this, you don't have to do much, but I mean we like big hair, so we're gon na fluff this out we're not going to focus too much on the ends, because we don't wan na separate Too much of this definition, but we are going to focus on loosening up the roots yeah, so we're gon na take our Y tooth comb or our picks, whatever you have and gently in and lift at the roots, and this itself is gon na loosen up the Braids see now that I've fluffed and picked out the root. I can flip my hair over to hide some of those parts which are already pretty hidden from the zigzags now I know this product is coconut oil and it is nice and sealing, and a lot of this moisture is gon na stay in, but the product does Have some glycerin and other moisturizing humectant ingredients so before going outside and humidity make sure you finish it off with a sealing oil? We are good to go like this, because it's not very humid here in Canada today and that's it. That is our two lines now using affordable products from Maui moisture and only using one styling product. If you guys want to learn more about the products that we use today, make sure to check out the description, everything will be linked there for you. We also want to thank my newest chair again for partnering with us on this video and giving our girls some juicy definition results. If you follow all of the tips that we shared in today's video, I have no doubt you will have a successful braid out, and on that note this has been your main girls and we will see each and every one of you every single day p.m. next Tuesday and next Tuesday, but I'm sue, we look like the PBC stirs. You like people on stalking, so the Pippi Longstocking sisters, but if you belonged Easter's, give me Longview loan stockings and now that hairs are prepped they're productized to Normandy. You want to see no okay. Just look back it's wrong. I can do it. Okay, I don't think you can do it man. I don't think you can do it, but I want you to be able to yeah man. You look great you're like a tenth of the way there. That'S it. You really look like a doll like you've. Just like this little doll, we never see her with braids she's, very self-conscious of her large head. It'S really good. I hate this part, a new era for you of things,

Gena Marie: Stunning!! I’ve always been afraid to try a braid out because of frizz, but this turned out amazing!

HairbySofia: The way you hold the hair while you were braiding was really fascinating to me because i hold hair super differently!!

Marie Francis: Im so happy that i found your youtube channel as my daughter has curly hair and i have no experience of curly hair. Im literally just learning how to do her hair and she is 10!! She has been walking around with frizzy hair for years but not anymore. Ive learned so much from watching your videos. Her hair has never looked so good and thats thanks to you

Mae Strath: THANK YOU SO MUCH I spent years of my life watching tutorials by people with straight shiny hair (I do love that hair it’s just not like mine!) and failing to replicate them. It made me feel like I had to straighten my hair before styling it xx

Lisa Townsend: Can I just say I love you and Amanda's matching outfits in your videos. The relationship between you two makes this so much fun to watch in addition to being so informative as a fellow curly girl.

Racquel Adams: Amazing! I have literally been attempting this hairstyle and failing horribly for weeks. I really needed this in my life and that hack is so good. Thank you

Jackie Carmody: I tried this and it turned out AMAZING. I have Amanda’s hair type and did Mell’s French braid style. I’m so happy cause now I have an out when I wash my hair at night!

L Bloodkith: Yay, the "dutch" braid! I've found it's the easiest for me to do on my own hair. I haven't braided my hair yet since getting my curls/waves really started & was thinking I'm far enough in my journey to be able to without major issues so this is perfectly timed! Thanks seesters!!! <3

Marci Mars: Thanks for posting the tutorial! I have been transitioning from texturized to natural hair, and I was trying to find another style to do other than twists, but I can’t cornrow. It turned out great!

Vonnie G: Omg you two are so cute together! I love this method! I used to do it all the time at night when I would wash my hair late and didn’t have time or the energy to dry it. I used the method on Amanda’s hair, but I am going to attempt braids like Mel’s

Bryana Camille Braxton: I’ve never been able to braid hair and the easy method you did for Amanda blew my mind. Thank you for sharing! I might try this.

Ana Sardinha: I love every single one of your videos!! They have helped so much in understanding and styling my hair! I just have one question about achieving definition on my roots. I have tried everything to have volume and definition from my roots to ends but I can never achieve non-flat roots. Any recommendations? Love your videos ❤️

Laura Campbell: I wish I could french braid or Dutch braid my own hair! It would be so useful for summer day activities with my kids. I can do them for my daughter's, but my fingers get confused on myself! Your braids turned out super cute. Thanks for sharing.

Lia Faile: The sister’s braid seemed harder too me, I could not do that to myself - I wish she had demo’d the beginner’s style so we could see someone doing it on themselves instead of someone else doing for them.

Leila Cornejo: This was SO NICE! I have belly button length hair and doing anything more than leaving it down was a hassle. This was so easy and I was able to get something done with my hair! SUPER HAPPY!

Nia Mig: Thank you so much for this tutorial! I needed it. When I saw Amanda’s story with the braids I thought “omg I wish I could make them” and now I can! Thank you!

Milk: I got out of the shower, put my hair up and checked youtube. I seriously needed this! Thank you so much, I just did my hair, and the modified braid will be my go to protective style now plus omg i lovee the mani moisture product you used! I love how you guys partner with great products, we love authentic seestars!

Ash Marie: Thank you SO MUCH for this video!!! I've watched sooooo many videos on how to braid my own hair and thanks to you I did it for the first time today

Chrissy Of Oldstones: I’m totally gonna try Amanda’s version, I can’t Dutch/French braid to save my life

Abigail Garcia: They look so good in braidss, I luv how they look when they have the braids on and after they take them out.

Tracy putnam: When I braid my hair, it literally takes days to dry.

Meriem Mastouri: My hair is so voluminous that's why I always do braid outs and it really helps and I always get different results depending on how many braids I did

Emma Hawkins: Mel I am new to your channel and I have truly been struggling for so long trying to figure out how to deal with my wild curly hair. But I have recently watched so many of your videos and they have helped me so much. I just truly want to thank you for making these videos, for all the advice you have given me, and for giving me a chance to love my hair again. You are such an amazing creator. I love all over your videos they have helped me so much through my curly hair journey. Again thank you so much to you Mel and your wonderful seester. Love you both so much

Janice Howell: Thank you so much for yet another wonderful video! I've been trying to think of ways to style my hair when I take my art club kids on our trip at the end of the school year without bringing a giant bag of products! LOL! This will be perfect!

Amber Abbott-Farr: I'm like you Amanda-zon! I can braid someone else's hair but not my own! Very excited to try both of these this summer! Thank you as always for the content, laughs, and pure entertainment!

Taslim: Another way that I like to make it easier is by starting with a flat twist then finish in a normal braid

Sonya Morgan: I needed this yesterday for my outdoor adventure. Thank you for sharing this info with us.

Kayla Sheppard: I love how you put the squeezed out conditioner on your sisters head lol. Truly a sister moment ❤

What3v34: The way mell braided the hair was fascinating i could never!loved the result! For sure will try this

Tara Jenkins: They are both so pretty!!!! Love the video as always

JESSICA VANONI: Love this so much both turned out so nice , I will be trying this on my 3a curly hair . ❤️

Maryam Hussain: Mel's braids looked better but Amanda's results omg Gorgeous !

Marianellyy Diaz: Okay thank you I can’t braid my curl hair lol but thanks to this I think I can now great tips seesters

jessalynn626: I love these braids & I love the seesters! Also Maui Moisture is the bomb & so affordable!

Star 123: You girls are ADORABLE!!! I have super curly hair. My 2 teenage daughters have long wavy hair. I should tell them to do double braids for a SEESTER STYLE summer photo! Also- The people who have this a thumbs down are ridiculous.

Christi Farris: I LOVE the braided look on both of you! I wish I could braid my hair, but right now I'm dealing with a healing broken humerus, so I only have one useable hand and arm. Maybe I can try this at Chistmas after all my healing and therapy is over. I can try the Maui Moisture in the meantime. Thanks for being so AWESOME!

sara: I have a question Mell, will braiding out my hair every wash day cost me my curl pattern? Thank you for this video, love watching you both!

Trish Pipkins: This is exactly what I've needed. I'm doing this maybe tomorrow. If I have enough energy maybe tonight. Thank you for this!!

Brissa Ramirez: This is so gonna help ME with my daughter curly hair , if been braiding her hair wrong Thank you sooooo much for this info & I feel inspired to keep learning and not give up.... Brissa from Texas

Jyoti Bodas: Hi Mell! This channel is amazing I've learned so SOO much about my 2C hair and how to style it. I noticed these shampoos and conditioners have emollients in them and from what I remember, emollients seal the hair after it has been moisturized. If I remember correctly in past videos you've said that unless you have very high porosity or damaged hair you should not use emollients like coconut oil during the shampoo and conditioner process. Did I understand correctly or is it okay to have oils in your conditioner? Thanks so much! I seriously loveee how much I learn from you!

Diane Mary: such a helpful video!! I want to learn the double braids like this. I've been trying to each myself just one basic french braid, it's so hard and it doesn't help literally every single french braid video I saw it on straight hair!! I picked up tips from you guys to apply to my single french braids to make them smoother now :)

HairbySofia: I got so excited for this video!! I've sort of recently started wearing my hair in it's naturally wavy curly and the one thing about it is the no dry brushing which means i have a hard time wearing my hair in styles like i used to cause i use to do so many different braided styles in my hair

Braids by Pamela: I love your videos these videos helped me and my sister how to deal with our curly hair because we didn’t know what to do with it so thx

Be The Light: Oh boy you're gonna have to come over and do those braids for me, lol! I need easy peasy! I love the results!❤

Melissa Record: I just tried the modified version on my daughter and it turned out sure cute! Thanks for sharing this.

Girls With Da Curls: Wow! Such a great tutorial. My clients are about to participate in a 'Learn to Braid" challenge, so I'll definitely be referencing your video to assist them. Thanks!!

datslucy - Lucrezia Bivona: Girls, I searched for a video like this earlier today cause I wanted to protect my hair from sunbathing but thank you, now I know what to do next time ❤ my hair is normally straight but I perm my hair for years now. Since I know you guys I finally got a solution on how to actually deal with my curly hair problems by watching every single video of yours so thank you! I know you already have two videos on how to cut your own hair. But could you do a video by showing how to actually cut (and not just trim) layers by yourself to get a rounded shape like Mells? I tried the unicorn cut, but i didn't recieve that kind of shorter layers I want. That would be so nice, because I don't trust hair stylists here in my city anymore! Greetings from an ITALIAN girl living in germany ❤

Daniela Diaz: this was actually really helpful thank you so much imma try this out this week!

alma wilson: Nail it!! I do braids to. My combination hair weavy- curly can be challenging. Braiding it leaves my hair feeling so soft and the girls are very well defined and last much longer.

Amanda: I needed this SO BADLY. Your teaching Amanda videos are my favorite

Amber Reyna: I’m so glad you approve of this style my house retains heat so there’s no point in diffusing cuz I SWEAT SO MUCH WHILE DIFFUSING and then it gets frizzy the next day. This is just way easier

Heena J Prasad: Wow. That was insanely hard to do on myself (Mel’s braid)... but I pulled through

Stacy Ahmad: Hey Mell...for those people who can't braid at all, could you also modify this to a 2 strand twist? Would it work? I'm gonna try your way of doing seeing as I do know how to french braid and do the Dutch braid. Looked so shiny and hydrated after the Maui moisture! Great more products to buy. Pretty soon I will have to build a revolving closet!

Lizknits85: I love this video and this style. However I have never been able to do anything more than a basic braid. I tried both braids and still struggled. I just can't seem to get a Dutch braid started without it falling out as I continue to braid. I would love to be able to do this. Do you have any tips or tricks that would help me out with getting either style started?

MsJHeider: Hey Mel, I really really love all of your content here and on tiktok. I just discovered that my hair isn’t straight and I think it is a 2c type. After leave in, curl cream, gel and oil it looks amazing My exams are getting closer and for studying I would love to do the hairstyle you and your sister did in this video, so my hair is secured and hydrated. So here is my question: Do you think I could scrunch the curl cream in and try to not separate one curl „family“ while braiding? Because I am concerned that my hair will just get wavy if I braid it and I wanna show my newly discovered curls to everyone. Lots of love from Germany Julia P.s I’d love to see some content for those of us who change their haircolours often

Ellesse R: I love yall! I see what you're doing and it looks easy there. But whenever I try it on myself, it seems like it's not the same thing haha

Jayme Vaughn-Linebarger: I love the tips given for braiding in this video! However, I do wish that we could have seen Amanda braiding her own hair. As another person who isn’t good at braiding their hair, I feel like that would have been helpful. Plus, that’s what the beginning of the video seemed to promise.

Kassandra Hernandez: I've been having so much trouble with the underneath parts of my hair and the bits right next to my ears. The rest of my hair is 3A to 3B, so it is VERY noticeable. They WILL NOT curl, and if they get some kind of wave, it'll be straight within the day. I just ordered a shea butter protein mask off amazon but I'm wondering if there's something else I could try? Finger coiling doesn't work either

Arissa Higgins: Needed this!! Tysm, first time commenting but I've loved every one of your videos <3 I have hair sort of in-between you and your seester and I can't wait to try that Maui curl smoothie and the "lazy" braid for my new warehouse job! No more funds until that first paycheck, but I need this style for work! Do you think I can use my thick leave in conditioner (w castor oil, Shea butter, and coconut oil) just until I can get ahold of the Maui?

GeeklingNo1: Doing my hair has always been super hard with my chronic fatigue but this braid out is something i can ask my sister to do without much frustration. I tried it and the results have been... mediocre but someone braiding it for me will be super helpful

Kati Benzer: This video made me smile and laugh so much! I needed that today. I don't know if I can braid my own hair, but I may give it a try.

Jessa S: Awesome video as always! It always makes me smile when u guys pop up on my feed :) Any braiding tips/styles for someone with 2c/3a hair that’s really thin right at the front (bangs area)? Thank u! x

Vannesa Colin: I love this! I rocked this style all summer.

Heather Springer: Awesome video gals! I have a question about the maui moisture curl smoothie. It has glycerin in it so I was surprised to see you use it in the summer. Is there something else in it that counteracts the effects of glycerin because your hairs both looked amazing with it!

Kate Alley: Mell! I would absolutely LOVE if you would do a video on tips for getting your hair cut by a stylist who isn’t used to curly hair!! Or what to ask for at the hair salon because I feel like they always get it wrong

Daniela: I love your personality, Mel. I get educated on how to care for my hair and enjoy the videos at the same time :)

Ruth Strutt: Hey Mell! I’m late to this video but have a style question - I have short curly bangs, do you reckon it would work if I braid behind them (leaving them out of the braid) or braid them in? Love from Australia. ❤️

Reem aziz: Omggg I live for braid outss!! Thanks for making this! I was waiting for it♥️

darlingnickyta: I'd love a curly hair braid on dry hair for between wash days!

Madison Gale Jessop: This is honestly how I did my hair all through high school before I knew how to deal with my hair. My mom would braid my hair every night with Sexy Hair Extreme Hold Gel. Seeing that gel to this day gives me PTSD, my poor scalp

Cindy Mora: I love how your sister looks at you when you talk... she actually is learning through you... that’s sweet

Christine Johnson: I love this. I tried doing a french braid out yesterday and I did it totally wrong. lol

Kidwithaface: This video is so helpful,i really needed this because ive never braided my hair

Keila Jerry: I love your videos!!! You have taught me so much!

AlizMari23: I would love to see you do a video of how to do a kids hair, like simple styles for people who have straight hair but their kids have curly. Or for parents that just don't know how to do their kids hair at all. I'm half black and I was adopted, and my mother had no idea how to do anything to my hair other than cut it and French braid it. Plus, there are some of us who just don't know what styles will work on younger kids who mess their hair up at school.

Marija J: AHHHH I was literally just looking for how to braid my natural hair,my hands always hurt and feel like they're about to fall out after braiding my hair tho.
