Hello, youtube in this video i'll, be showing you how i achieved this large knotless braid style with curly ends. So if you're interested then just keep on watching all right, it's protect the style season. So, let's get into it. For this style i will be using the freetress kanikalon, hair and 28 inches, so i will be doing this style on wet hair, because my hair is shorter. That way, if you've been watching me for a while, you know how long my hair is when it's blowed out and for this style. I didn't want the braids to be that long. So i'm going to go ahead and detangle my hair, and once i'm done detangling that section i will go ahead and twist it up after i'm done twisting. I did want to stretch my roots, so i actually blow dried the roots. Just so my roots didn't have that wavy look, so i will be using shining jam as well as a rat tail comb for my parts, so i would be starting in the back of my head this time and y'all. When i tell you, i was having a struggle with parting, the back of my head, so i will place the shining jam on my parts and then i will use the rat tail comb to kind of clean the part up y'all. I really had to pull out another mirror because i was just having so much trouble, but here i am using the rat tail piece again and y'all do not talk about my neck. I am hairy. Okay, you don't grow hair long like this, without some hell on your body, okay, so after i get the part the way i want it, i will go ahead and just prep this part for me to do my knotless braids y'all. I'Ve done many videos on how to do knotless, braids um in detail. So i will link that playlist up above if y'all want to check that out. But here, as you see, i'm just starting the braid and i'm going to add a pretty big piece of kanekalon hair to this section, because i want these to be very thick braids. This is my first time actually doing very thick braids. So i was just kind of experimenting with how much hair i should add, but this right here you see i'm just adding the hair in, and i always add my hair in to the middle portion of my plait and just kind of wrap it around and start Braiding down, i did add three pieces of kanekalon hair and yeah just started braiding down. So once i get to this part since i want these to be shorter braids, i do braid it down to where my hair stops and then you'll see me take out a small piece of the kanekalon hair and just wrap it around my finger to do a Knot here to kind of just you know, stop the hair from unraveling, and you can't really see what i did good here on this. This braid, but i'll show it later in the video a closer look. So this is what the braid looks like after i'm done with the knot, and here is a look of how the braid looks at the root so right about this time. I realized i needed some help, so i called my husband in to hold a mirror for me and y'all. He actually came in held the mirror for me like i was like you really love me. He was. He was acting up but yeah. So here's the back as of right now and i'ma start working on the front here where i'm just you know just continuing to do the knotless braids. So here's a closer look on how to do the knot. What i do is i take two fingers and i wrap the hair around those two fingers and then i pull the hair through those two fingers to make a little slip knot so right around this time, i was noticing how plain this was. Looking i told y'all i'm not used to like very thick braids, so i was like i'm gon na have to add some to kind of jazz this up. So i was thinking what can i add to get us a little razzle dazzle but anyways um, the braids. Looking good as of right now here is what the braids look like. When i'm done as you can see, the ends look bad. They need curling, so i added some perm rods to the ends to give it like a big spiral. Curl and since these are thick braids i did have to do one perm rod per braid, and then i dipped those in hot water and after i dip them in hot water. I grab a towel and kind of you know ring the water out. So i take down the perm rod and then there you see we have some pretty curls at the end, so i noticed that a lot of the curls were longer than the others. So, like i said, i want this to kind of be a shorter style, so i did try to make sure that all of the curls were about the same length. So around this time, i'm like okay, i'm feeling it. I am feeling it so. I use the foaming mousse to kind of set the style y'all. I love the consistency of this and it's just kind of it's just fun to do so after i apply this foam all through my braids. I then grab my blow dryer to kind of set the style and make that foam kind of dissolve. Then i do my edges and now i finally realized i want to put some curls in this hair to give it a little razzle dazzle. So i take my crochet hook as well as some deep twist freetress conical on hair and apply that to the braid by you know. Crocheting it through one thing about this curly hair is that it tends to get matted and tangled, and it makes the style to me not last as long so adding it in with the crochet hook, makes it easier for me to just pull it out whenever i'm Tired of it in the past, whenever i've added this hair, i've braided it in while i'm doing the style - and i have to take my braids down earlier, because the hair is so matted. But with this i can just pull out the curly hair. When i'm tired of it, i will say that it's very very easy to pull out the curly hair when you do it this way. So if you are wanting this to be more secure with the curly hair, you'll need to either braid it in or you know, i guess crochet it through a couple of times. So it's more secure, but this is the finished. Look y'all, i'm really feeling it like. I think that it looks so cute, i'm so happy. I added the curly hair because it gives it just enough razzle dazzle without it doing too much it. Just i don't know this. This style is such a mood. It is a whole vibe y'all. So let me know down below what you think about this style. Let me know down below: do you like jumbo braids, large braids or really small braids? I tend to do small braids, but i don't know i'm kind of feeling this large braid look on me. So if you like this video, don't forget to give it a thumbs up. Quadaisha Newkirk: Yess these look super cute on you! I am definitely going to do these tomorrow

Jasmin S. Collier: So pretty! Love this!

loftin01: Thank you for sharing. I tend to go for large or jumbo knotless box braids. I don't have to sit to get my hair done for long hours. Its also easy to take down. Since my natural hair is thick and coarse its easier to maintain a clean scalp and oil my hair with easy access to my scalp. I have only worn medium box braids in the past and tend to take down my hair within a month or so of the style. That is what works best for me. Your hair came out nice by the way. I wish I was able to do my own hair, because I would save a lot of money.

Megan Carson: Good Idea crocheting it in afterwards!!! Great tutorial!

Inah Israel: Love this style !!

Jaloney Norwood: I love this style and have tried this style . I’m please you were honest about adding the crochet wavy hair ,after you did the jumbo braids I did not due that and my hair was a hot mess which I ended up taking it down . I appreciate your honesty and direction on doing them properly ❣️

PatPat: Soooo cute. Gonna try this❤

Valarie Cooper: I love jumbo with the loose curls!!!

Elana Turner: Hey girl this video was so helpful I just have a quick question. How many braids were on each row? I saw 3 on the first row you did in the beginning but then after that I wasn’t so sure.

Amelia r: I’m gonna try this on my next off day

Tyreana Webb: You make it look so easy, my arms can’t hang
