Hey guys! This is a video on hairstyles for round faces dos and donts that make your face look slimmer. Some of these hair styles look abit stupid because ive tried to give you a visual representation with my hair instead of random pictures! Also, what works for me, may not work for you but I'm just showing you comparisons that you may want to try out. Hope you find it useful xx

Hi guys welcome to my channel so a lot of yous liked my previous video that I did on makeup, do's and don'ts for round faces, and in that video I talked a little bit about the hairstyles, so this video is dedicated to hairstyles for round faces. So if you haven't seen the makeup version, it's in the description box and yeah, let's just go so starting off with how you part your hair on the don't side here I parted my hair in the side parting and I'm not sure why. But it seems to make the face. Look wider, I think, is because the partings like a starting point, and it gives the focus on the sides of the face, of course, having your hair on one side leaves a half of your face kind of exposed making. It look a bit wider, so on the Duce side here I have a middle parting and because this is kind of like that's at the center of my face, it kind of attracts the eyes downwards and it makes my face look seem longer. Also, all my hair is on both sides of my face, which is hiding some of the wit. Next is the length of your hair here on the dark side of my hair. My hair is short and since the stopping point, it's kind of the focus. When someone looks at you like the stopping point of your hair and here because it stops at sort of the cheek chin area, this makes my face appear wider. So the shortest hair that I would ever go for is shoulder length for my face, shape anything shorter than that, like a bob or a lob. It would only make my face. Look like a ball. So here, on the deuce side, I have my normal length hair, which is very long. This attracts the eyes downwards and just makes my face appear longer, especially because it hides a lot of the width, so the next thing is bangs or fringe on the dark side. Here, I'm doing a very bad attempt at a front fringe with my extensions and I'm very sorry that this is visually repulsive. But the point is that, because the fringe stops at my cheek area, it focuses on the width of my face and the fringe is like a cuff point. So it makes my face. Look shorter and more round plus the front fringe is hard to compare, also showing you how any French stopping at the can make my face. Look wider on the dues side. I have my long friends that I keep on the sides, so you want to make sure it's chin level or below, and this will frame my face making it look longer and I like to frame like a curtain. So it doesn't look like it's stuck to me. So don't feel like, because you have a round face. You have to always hide the sides of your face, for instance when you're gon na do an updo. So in the jump side here my hair is tied back, which shows off my round face but do side. I have a high ponytail, which adds height to my face, which kind of makes my face look longer, and this is the same again with here on the don't side and I've got a low bun and it's just exposing my whole face and one the do side. I'Ve done a high bun and it's just adding a bit of height to my face, so it kind of makes my face. Look a little bit longer. So. Lastly, when you are curling your hair here on the downside, I've started the curls from my eye level, and this is gon na feather out my hair from the widest part of my face, making the focus on that part or or at least exposing the width of My face so this is gon na obviously make my face. Look rounder. So, on the do side here, I've started the curls from chin level so that it feathers out around my neck instead and then that way, the width of my face is still a little bit hidden, but that is pretty much it for the video. I hope you find it useful and if you do have a round face, you know don't feel like you need to follow all the things that I've said. There are a few hairstyles that I showed you that I know is unflattering for round faces that I still like to do on myself, just because I like the way that I look in it so again, you know just do whatever you want, don't feel like. You have to follow all the stuff, but if you are looking to make your face, look slimmer with your hair and just remember to go for length or and avoid short or width wide that rhymes anyway, a whole see you in my next video and leave me Suggestions down below in the comment section and that's it

MemeQueen: I think these definitely work for dark hair. For me, I recently parted my hair in the middle and I actually loved it. But only when my hair is straight. I have frizzy wavy hair, and when it’s natural, looks best to the side. Ugh, hair is confusing ♀️

Rose Cortes: Middle parting looks AWFUL on me. I used to try and scare my friends by doing that in middle school. We could not stop laughing, it was just so bad! Also, I could never live with tucking my hair behind my ears, at least one side. I personally like to cut side bangs on both sides of my face, hiding the roundness. Also, tucking those behind my ears while they dry gives them a curl that's really cute. Hope this helps!
