I Bought The Cheapest Most Affordable Curly Hair Accessories I Found In India

None of the products are sponsored. I bought everything myself and am making this video on my own accord. None of the brands reached out to me or asked me to make a video.

I think Satin Accessory brands in India are becoming way too expensive. Most are jumping on the curly bandwagon and inflating prices pointlessly. Some of them are even resellers buying from smaller indie shops, slapping their own tags on things and selling them for a higher price. I've seen this happen so much since textured hair is now becoming more mainstream.

Most of us are on budgets and are looking for affordable satin accessories. Both brands featured in the video are small indie brands with budget price tags. I enjoyed the quality of both.

Even with the price being increased from 150 to 170 Rs for a single sided bonnet and from 170 to 200 Rs for a double sided bonnet, its still the most affordable bonnet I've found online in India.

Support small woman owned indie shops! Every time you buy from a small business, the owner does a little happy dance.

I picked up the cheapest, the most affordable, satin accessories that i could find in india. The word cheap gets a really bad rep, and i know a lot of us are on a budget and cannot afford to buy so many things, especially when we start cg, which is why i'm so happy to be doing this video. The first place that i bought from it's called sheets crunchy, i'm gon na put up the instagram handle right here. The owner's name is sheeta, who used to be a primary school literature teacher in 2001, during lockdown shetan's father loaned her 10 000 rupees to start her own business. Her first challenge was finding quality satin fabric, which was relatively easy compared to her search for the best suited elastic sheathal personally tested over 50 varieties of elastic before landing on the one that she currently uses. Sheetal steam comprises mostly of her family. She also has one designated person helping with instagram during the course of her running her own business. She'S made a lot of friendships along the way, which, coincidentally happens to be her favorite part of the journey. These are all of the scrunchies that i picked up. These are basically skinny thin scrunchies and i paid 40 rupees for each let's say: i'm doing a pineapple. I don't need to loop this twice just once and i'm good, and these are all the colors that i picked up. I picked up a dark green as well, but i can't find it right now. I wore it in my last video with my order. She also threw in one freebie, which is basically this brown scrunchie. I haven't opened it yet. This is basically a large crunchy compared to the sleek scrunchies that i picked up. She also sent me this sweet note. The next place that i picked up from was even more affordable compared to sheets crunchy. The next place i bought from is called sk fashion world. The owner is 23 year old komal, who hails from a small town in gujarat. All the products on her page are made by her from scratch, so i picked up four crinkled headbands. I paid 50 rupees each. I picked up all of these sleek scrunchies and these were 35 rupees each and she also threw in a freebie this large scrunchie. She makes all of these things herself. If you check out her instagram, she keeps on putting up stories where she shows you her doing. The work, i think that the handwork is very neat very well done, and this is a very nice fluffy scrunchie and i picked up this reversible satin bonnet. I paid 170 rupees for this, so this is basically a bonnet that has a nara. You can open this as much as you want. I generally tie a knot here, so the nara doesn't get stuck inside. So this is how much you can open it up. This is one side and of course, you can wear it this way as well. When i bought all of these items, the prices were, as mentioned in the video i came to know just today, that she's about to change the prices, which is why i'm recording this little voiceover section so skinny scrunchies are now going to be 50 rupees crinkled headbands Are now going to be 50 rupees, a regular bonnet is 170 rupees and a reversible bonnet is now going to be 200 rupees. So, of course, you can make this as tight or as loose as you want to make it if you're suffering from migraines i'd say, keep it pretty loose if you're somebody who has migraines and you have problems with bonnets, i don't think you should have an issue With this one, because it's pretty adjustable, you can wear it as tight or as loose as you prefer. The quality of this is really really nice highly highly recommend. You won't go wrong for 170 rupees. This is such a steal. I couldn't recommend this enough because of how amazing the stitching is because of how amazing the quality is and because of how incredibly affordable. This is, if you guys, find any more shops on instagram or anywhere in india, where you're getting satin accessories for this price point or even cheaper comment down below i'd, be happy to check them out and also talk about them on the channel, both brands that i Spoke about in today's video are small businesses. It is so important to support women-owned small businesses so definitely head over to instagram. Give them a follow. Show them some love shop from these brands. It is amazing when we support small businesses, if you know any more small businesses that are offering affordable super duper. Affordable satin accessories comment down below i'd, be really happy to check them out very, very happy to be doing this video because i know so many of you are on a budget and you are looking for a bonnet and you're looking for a bonnet, but the price Has never been right. You'Ve picked up some super cheap ones on amazon, but they haven't really cut it for you anyway. That was pretty much it thumbs up. The video leave me a comment share my videos so that this channel goes and if you're, looking for more content on textured hair feel free to check out these videos right here.

D N: I bought a reversible satin bonnet from meesho for 150

Joanna: I had to say it for a long time but let me say it now....I started cg after watching your videos and I owe it to you for making me love my natural hair....I used to straighten my hair ever since I knew there were treatments to make them permanently straight I looked forward to getting them done but I have changed and I'm encouraging people around me who have curly hair to embrace their curls as well....it's amazing how I needed you at that point of my life to make me see myself differently ❤️thank you for making videos to help a lot of people And this video is also helpful as usual ❤️

Nemisha Sharma: Michelle I WISHED I had DMed you when I started my healthy hair journey. I would’ve saved so much money! I feel some brands are really charging a bomb for satin accessories and influencers are promoting it because they are being paid to. I know it’s not right to say this but hair love india is SO DAMN EXPENSIVE (even manetsin charges a lot for some stuff) I’ve been buying from curly charmy or curlyn but now I’ll only buy from the small business owners you mentioned because they are way cheaper. I mean come on - how much does it cost to make a satin pillowcase or scrunchie that you need to charge so much?

Shruti: You go girl ! Love watching your videos. Extremely informative. I love this video as it supports other women entrepreneurs. This would help build a community of stronger and unstoppable women.

Jessica Joseph: I was actually really desperate for a bonnet but wasn't able to find anything under 400-500, so my dad bought satin cloth and had a tailor sew it. It came out great and I think costed around ₹80 total, so that's what I've been working with but I do love to support small businesses when I can afford it :)

P S: I was waiting for this video. These are affordable, thank you for that. I searched before but didn't find this affordable satin products. And the bonnet! Finally. I'll try it out. Hope it works for me and my headaches. Thank you so much for this video ❣️

Rochelle Laporte: Thanks for the video Mich. really affordable products. I do still get headaches with bonnets unfortunately but will try it out. I currently have 3 bonnets and the last 1i picked up was from miniso. A very very light loose bonnet but I still get my headaches.

Skoo scrunchies&co.: Thank you so much it's means alot -komal

Dhruvee Maheshwari: can you do a video with cg friendly products from supermarket... or affordable one ( broke student edition).? please

Sucharita Chatterjee: Great recommendations

Sujitha Murali kumar: Hello Michelle, can you please tell the difference in the purpose of leave in and curl cream. It's confusing on why we use them!

chewy: Not very related to the video but i need some help with diffusing. I have Philips ' thermoprotect 1200 watts blow dryer with diffuser attachment (pink one) The diffuser attachment is pretty small and very different from the bowl diffuser attachment that everyone uses. Now that I have bought idk what to do with it. Any tips on how to diffuse using the attachment?

Anisha Kurup: Do bonnets cause sweating? I used to wrap satin scarfs but stopped because of sweating issues

Roshe123 123: Good suggestions:} and ideas
