Recreating Iconic Pamela Anderson Updo

Today, i'm not really reviewing anything. I kind of just wanted to do this cute pamela anderson, updo style, because i've been seeing it all over tick tock, and i thought it would be so cute to recreate especially coming from a black girl or a woman of color um. So what i did to get this look was use, not a lot of clippings. Honestly, if you wanted to be, you know, cost effective. You can only use one pack 16 inch clippings, you don't need it to be too long and yeah you. I show you how i clipped it, because you want to clip it in the upward direction. You don't want to clip it down because since you're lifting it up clip it upwards and then i did use this cute little butterfly clip in the back, because i wanted to show you know that we can use it too um, i'm not gon na front. It would look better if i had was freshly relaxed um, because the back, i know it's very, it's giving probably peasy back there. I did try my best to slick it up with some wax and then put some heat over it. But overall you guys this hairstyle was easier than i expected. I thought it was going to be a lot longer to do this and i did, but if you pre-curl your hair like the clip-ins, you don't really have to do too much with your natural hair, because it's going up, i mean, unless you want to like really Really press out your hair, your kitchen in the back, then you can, but i really didn't need to do it that much. I think it looks cute that way. If i go into a nightclub, who's gon na know who's gon na know um. Is it giving pamela anderson? I don't know i'll, let you guys decide. I know she had bangs, maybe no! So right now i'm just showing you the clip-ins, i pre-curl them. You don't have to do too much. To be honest, you don't need more than one pack. I know my hair looks crazy, but it's already starting to grow out from my relaxer, which is good, but also low-key, annoying you're going to want to make sure that your hair is saturated with um heat protectant, because you are going to be using a little bit Of heat in it, if you want to just have some curls at the ends, i'm using the blow dryer just to get my kitchen, because i was telling you guys it does look a little bit nappy back there and also i'm gon na hit my edges up With that as well, so after that, you want to get a rat tail comb, um section out a little part in the front. To be honest, i only did the bang piece in the front and then also a little bit of pieces on the side just because you are going to want to curl those, so it could frame your face and then also, if you want some back pieces, take Those out too, before you put it up in a ponytail um, also by the way you guys you guys have been showing out with subscribing liking commenting. I definitely see it happening within the next year and it's honestly because of you guys, so thank you so real much it took is okay, so you're gon na want to section out pieces of your hair before you add the clip-ins, so i sectioned out a piece In the back, and then i added a little curl with the curling iron, as you see like. That'S not the best curl, but it doesn't have to be perfect since it is going up and then you're gon na take the clip ins, flip them upside down and then you're gon na clip them going up. Since you're gon na lift the hair up into a ponytail, when i get closer to the front, i'm gon na show you guys a better clip of that, but yeah like just clip it up, do not clip it down. If that makes sense is um me is fill me is, is please give it to me? Sometimes we laughing, we took a trip now we on your block and it's like a ghost town. This is between us, it's not like um okay. So this is a better clip of what i am doing, as you guys saw. I just sectioned out the hair and it wasn't a perfect part. I'M opening up the clippings and i'm taking it and clipping it upside down. Look at that once you clip it upside down, make sure it's secure and that's it that's all set, and then all you got to do is just put your real hair at top curl it and then it just blends in perfectly for the updog so y'all. I know my hair looks crazy right now, but you just want to trust the process like if you follow the steps that i've done so far, then you'll be perfect, like it's going to be set. So now i'm just taking out the pieces seeing how it frames. My face and then also seeing how it looks when i lift it up. You also want to start taking out the back pieces as well. I definitely like two pieces in the back, but for whatever reason i got wax on one of the pieces. So when you're slicking up your hair in the back just make sure you leave a piece of hair that is not touched with any product, because you want it to look fluffy overall, you want to put a little bit of heat where you put the wax just So it can um slick into place better. If you have natural hair, you want to do this, then i recommend using eco um. I could have used eco or i could have used the jam also to slick it up, but i just thought the wax would just be the easiest option. Okay, for this part, you want to grab all your hair that is going up in the updo and you kind of want to keep it together. Um, you could do a french twist. I don't know how to do that perfectly yet. So that's why i did it. So any hair that was kind of like falling out of place, i did use some bobby pins to hold it up and hold it in place and then, of course, what's gon na actually hold my hair up in the back. Is the butterfly clip that i showed in the beginning, you're telling me so now that it's up i'm just curling any piece that is left out and curling the pieces to frame my face and curling the pieces that i left out in the back um the curls. Once again, don't have to be perfect, but i did kind of want them a little bit tighter if that makes sense. So the curling iron that i used in the front like if i should have used one a little bit smaller, but i think it still came out very cute um. Do you remember all right?
