Hello, babes and happy sunday happy sunday. My name is tatiana. If you are new to my channel, welcome welcome in today's video i'm going to be showing you how i do a sleek high, curly ponytail. This is a great look, especially for the holidays that are coming up. I hope you enjoy. I hope you understand, as i'm going to be, showing you exactly what to do. First, things first is pressing out your hair to make sure that your ponytail is nice and sleek. Now, usually, of course, when you do a ponytail in your natural, of course, we use our gels and a lot of gems and all that stuff. But for this particular look, you want to be as minimal on the products as possible and honestly, the spray is just going to do the job with a little edge control for your edges and you're good to go. So that's what i'm going to be doing. First, i'm using my babyliss flat irons on the highest temperature possible just for my head, which is 450 because i wanted it nice and sleek, and i am only doing one pass now that we got our hair, nice and sleek. I'M going to go ahead and go in with my paddle brush and just brush my hair, all the way up into a ponytail, exactly where i want it to be at. I am going to be leaving out my edges because we're going to handle that at the very end, using my got to be spray, i'm going to start to mold the back of my head going up into my ponytail, i'm going to be combing with a fine-tooth Comb and as i comb i'm going to be rubbing as well, and you want to make sure that you got a nice amount of tension when it comes to making sure that the hair is pretty much getting stretched out as i'm blow drying it. Of course, this is not going to be painful or anything like that, but you want to make sure that is nice and slick make sure to try to keep your head up as high as possible because you don't want it to create that little crinkle in the Back when you lift your hair all the way up, but i'm just going to be rubbing and rubbing with nice tension with my blow dryer on the highest heat. I do have the rust be free blow dryer and it's amazing to make sure that we're creating a sleek ponytail as we get closer to the top. I am going to continue to comb with the fine-tooth comb and spray as well as blow dry until it's nice and sleek and mold it all the way until we get to that rubber band p.s. If the temperature is too hot on your hands, you can definitely use the rat tail end of your comb to make sure that you're laying down as much hair as possible as you get closer to the rubber band going in for my edges, i'm going to be Using my edge effect, black edge control, as well as my edge effect level 5. The extreme hold only y'all know how i feel about my edge effect. I love it so much, but i'm going to be mixing those two together, i'm first going to be applying the black and then i'm going to go over with the actual level, 5 edge control and i'm going to be slicking. My edges with my rat tail comb. Oh before i mow down, i'm going to be misting, my hair with my got to be spray, and then i'm going to be using two of my strips double to make it nice and wide, and i'm just going to be tying the rest of my ponytail down To make sure that we have a nice flat finish and that the hair molds and dries correctly, i'm blow drying my edges and most of my ponytail on a coil setting just to make sure that the product does not break down from too much heat. Before doing my ponytail, i did go ahead and grab some more large rubber bands. I used maybe about four together to make sure that we had a nice stable, ponytail base, and then i just braided my hair down and i ended it with a rubber band with this strip. I went ahead and just doubled. It together - and i wrapped it around about five times at my base before working my way, all the way up to cover my braid. I did this to make sure that my ponytail was nice and secure and that it would be strong enough to hold all of the wefts that i was going to be putting on it for this ponytail, i'm going to be using one pack, two bundles out of The three bundles it's the small roller set and i'm going to be using color 1b. This is what it looks like out of the pack, and this is what all three bundles look like together. I personally was only able to get three, but of course, if you have more hair than me, you might be able to get even more hair and there. So this is all you know, based on how much hair you have by the way, but what i'm going to be doing now, i completely unravel the weft and i'm starting at the very end of my ponytail, where the paper has ended, not any extra hair. That might be out and before i continue to wrap, i wanted to make sure that that first piece that was wrapped around was nice and dry and then now i'm just going to be applying like glue just in the very front and then i'm just going to Continue to wrap and i'm going to make sure that they are super super super close together, because i want to be able to get the two bundles, at least on my ponytail. What i'm going to be doing. As i apply my hair glue, i am going to start to apply glue a little bit above the weft and slightly onto the hair, and i'm going to be applying the first track onto the hair first and then onto the remaining of the glue. And i'm going to be doing that until i cannot do it anymore. Going now with my second bundle, i'm going to be tracing just the very beginning of that track, with hair glue, i'm going to place it right in the very front closest to that last track. Hold it in place and then i'm going to blow dry just to make sure it is nice and dry before continuing to wrap, and then i'm going to continue to do the same method that i did with the first bundle. Hello is because i am super adamant about making sure that i have both bundles in my head right now, i'm going to go ahead and trace with my hair glue and strategically. I am going to make sure that i am placing this really flat onto the tracks and not gluing it to my hair, and i'm just going to continue to do that until we do not have any more hair. But this part is optional. If you do not feel comfortable doing this and you're scared you're going to get glue all over your hair, you can go ahead and stop as soon as you cover up your rubber band. But for me being that i do this all the time um. This is what i just wanted to do so before we finish, i'm gon na go ahead and start to separate my curls. I wanted it even fluffier, so i went in with my paddle brush and i just really wanted to make sure that my curls were completely brushed out as much as possible because i was going for that. Really big curly ponytail look not super defined. You know. So this definitely helped me to create that look that i was going for and then now we're gon na go ahead and unravel these strips look at our slick, edges and we're gon na add some gloss to our hair and we will be done using my carrot. Hair oil sheen i'm going to be spraying that all around my head, just to give my hair a nice little shine, but yes babes. This is all it. This is nice and quick, and i really hope it was as simple as i feel like it was um. Let me know in the comments below be sure to rate this video. I hope you really enjoyed this. It'S super affordable. This is definitely a 10 style, simple sexy and cute for the holidays or a date night or girls night out. You know, i hope you guys enjoyed this video be sure to subscribe.
