Why hello, Doris it's the holiday season today, I'm going to show you guys a really quick and easy hair tutorial. This is a really cute and simple style. That would look great if you were going to a party a gala, any kind of special event just to dress up your natural curls. So before you pick up any kind of heat tool, leave that work belongs in the trash, no okay. So before you pick up your Flatiron we're going to leave that aside and learn a style, our natural, beautiful hair, so let us begin, shall we so this is like day for hair, it's kind of a mess. No I'm not gon na do is refresh my head because for this style I want there to be some nice volume when you refresh your hair you're, really starting back from day one and day one always has the least amount of volume. So I'm going to make. Do but what I have so step, one I'm going to section off the top of my hair: try not to section away too much hair at the top of your head, because the wider the section is but wider. Your head is going to look. So, if trying to keep it a little bit more narrow but just enough hair, so you get nice volume. Okay! So now, with my sides, I'm going to be slicking these back, so I'm not going to touch the body of the curls, but in my roots I'm going to spray them down with some more okay, guys so notice how I am combing upwards. You want to elevate to your face because unless you're a 12 year old girl wearing anything that sits lower on your head, it's not very flattering: it tends to pull your face downward and we always want to have a nice youthful pull back. Look. So I like to comb upwards and when you look at my profile it sits really nicely at the back of my head. Your style should always look good at all angles, so I just used water to slick that back. I am going to put a little bit of a liquid gel and the course of your hair is the thicker consistency gel you will need, but I just like to use a very liquidy gel now completely optional. You may slick or lay your edges. So that's people like to call the baby hairs. You can use a toothbrush clean toothbrush, a hair designated toothbrush or a comb I'll show you the effect of both it's also optional, to leave out little pearls and your little sideburns, which is always cute, and now we're ready to move on to the top sim. I'M going to let this clip down, so I already have nice volume here, but if you need to add a little bit of extra volume to get that poof simply take your teasing back home or any kind of comb and just tease these sections a little bit. Not getting too close to your hairline because you don't want to freeze up those curls. You want those curls to have a little bit of definition. So once you achieve the right amount of volume in the top take, if you have one of these kara bungees, so it's like a hair tie with little hooks on the ends to hook the hair or you can also use bobby pins. So if I were to just use this, I would simply grab. Oh god, yeah simply brought up my hair and I hook the ends into my base. So to top my hair, I just the higher the bobby pin and the hair bungee. I like to take a piece of my hair twist it a little bit and just fold it over where those accessories are because those aren't the cute accessories that you want to show. You wants to just be invisible within your hair. Oh bobby pin that piece of prose down to hide. So if you notice, I am not opening any of these bobby pins because then they're just gon na stretch out and they may falling out after so I keep the bobby, pin tight and closed and I leave it into my hair. So it stays locked and that's just about it very simple, perfect for really any kind of event you have coming up for a bold and beautiful style. I hope you guys learned a couple new tricks today. Mel: For those with thicker hair or more fly away, a thin coat of castor oil between the water and gel will give you that sleek look and it will LAST. I promise! You could also put two pony tails on top of one another to extend the length at the back

Kristina: DIY Hair Bungee: Use a hair tie and 2 bobby pins. Put the hair tie between 1st bobby, pull hair tie in straight line and use 2nd bobby and do the same thing. Voila!

So I am a fine low density curly girl, I would really appreciate to see on your channel info on the best haircut for fine curly hair example/tip: I saw that layers aren't really recommend on our hair, sense our hair is in the finer side it can make our hair look thinner and see through (this really makes sense if you think about it and it has happened to me before) so I heard that experts recommend adding weight to the hair (for reference of what this means sense I dont know how to explain the terminology of this you should check out All Things Ada's channel, she has a video on an other hair professional named Ona cutting her friends fine curly hair and explain's better what I just said). So I would loveee if you could please shed some light on this! Where I live outside the US there are basically no hairdressers that specializes in curly hair and the ones who say they specialize in this has always manged to ruined my hair.
