Heatless Messy Updo Tutorial (Works For Straight Or Curly Hair)

Sorry the lighting is so weird, it kept switching from sunny to gloomy while I filmed. This messy bun/updo takes me under five minutes and stays put really well without teasing or hair products, even with my straight pain in the ass hair. I don't wear updos that often, but this is something I wear for things like casual outdoor summer parties. Thanks for watching!

Again, here's this heatless messy updo I'll be doing first, I'm gathering my hair into a ponytail and I'm making this a little bit higher than I normally would just make it easier for me to film. But I also like to wear this look as a low side. Bun, the last temple in your hair through the elastic, don't pull it all the way through. But if your hair is on the shorter side or if it's curly, you could go ahead and pull the ponytail all the way through I'm taking a small section and just twisting it a couple of times, then pinning it down and I'm going to do the same. For the rest of my hair, just twisting sections and pinning them down, I never usually bother with smoothing down flyaways, just because I prefer updos that are a little bit on the messy side. I normally do around five sections, which is enough for me to create a large bun while still being able to get this done in just a few minutes and without having to have a million pins. In my hair you once I pinned down all the hair, I adjust anything, that's sticking out weirdly and then I added this hair clip and there it is. Thank you for watching.
