Hello, this era or maunawili photo 6, and today, when you do a video with 3 half up hairstyles now half up, I think the hairstyle. That is the best of both world because you eat your hair out of her face. But you can still show off the length of your hair, which is really nice and um every day, a formal one um a very usually pretty quick and fast, maybe school work or whatever so um, if you guys are wondering there that sort of since I had This blast - and I just got some little side bangs in here um shouldn't - show layers all around sort of stop right. There is the shortest ones, and then tomorrow, there's and um they spring layers. So I, like this kind of love, got a deeper cut again but anyways, let's get into thicker stuff. First arab hairstyle: I'm going to do a chic little half up hairstyle with the hair tie covered with a little bit of wrapped around here, and it just makes it look kind of elegant and it would be more of a formal, hairstyle um for this problems. So I'm just going to put my hair half up and well through my hair. How love is it decreases the volume nice and I like to just take pieces from the front um. I don't like to go all the way around back and take like a whole section um, because my hair just gets kind of tangled, but you can do it where you want both depends on you, whether you want to leave like home, curly tunnels. Down from that, you're really pretty or if you want like it all the way back, I'm just gon na leave some hair in front of my ears so always make sure to it only sections you want, because half ups can get really tingly to take down. If you don't and it's moving underneath Jesus skinny hair dye, so you can come on when anyone just go ahead and put your hair at a normal jump on a trail. Well, scrunchie make sure your have meatballs okay and then what you're going to do is take highly thick piece of here. So you have enough to cover the ponytail start, wrapping it around any child holder. So you just want to check the horrible ponytail cutter, your pickle nerves. We can see when I'm into my big mirror. We'Ve got just a little bit left and you're hungry boy telling you want to commit and get the hair that's wrapped around as well, and then you're done you. The next pop up hairstyle is to set on a bun and it's really cute easy and for everyday. So I still have my hair in the same half up and what you want to do is take your little hop up, Pony and start twisting employment and eventually will start to coil on itself. And then you want to coil it into your like traditional ballet bun. Then twist it around itself and tuck the ends underneath and I'm going to take the mill a little hair tie and secure the bun. Then they like to flatten out and kind of smoosh it. So you have a bit of a bigger bun come on. This actually works better if you use more hair and you're half up ponytail and then cut it down one. You live here and you swing around and poke underneath use like two or three bobby pins. Depending on how chair you got up there, that's the little bun style and it's really cute really easy. The last pair side. You want to take your half up and put it into a loose. Then next you're going to separate your hair and a half up into two clean sections and you're gon na rotate, the ponytail up and down through the hole you can also do it the other way around and rotate down and up through the hole. But I prefer this look. So that's the last look, the rooted, ponytail and I hope you enjoyed these books thanks for watching. I

83susieqt: I love your videos! I'm a "new" curly - I've straightened my hair for years, and now am trying out leaving my curls in! Question on these styles - when you're fixing your hair like this, should your hair be wet or dry? Or does it matter? Thanks!

Marisa Polansky: I literally just did this on my hair right after watching your video! I love it! Thank you so much!

K: I have been using these same styles as well =) Though for the bun one, I sometimes use Goody's spiral pins (two of them) to make the process easier and the buns to stay up better.

IncenseNPeppermints: Our hair is about the same length. :) My heat damage is still growing out but I'm getting there though. It's been 4 or 5 months now. Cute tutorial!

Sarah McGrath: I liked all three of the styles! I'm probably going to wear the third one most often (once my hair grows out). quick question: Will my curls become a little tamer/weighted down if I grow my hair out? It's just at the top of my shoulders now and I still get what I call "triangle" shaped hair. Any suggestions, or will I just have to wait for it to grow?

Julie Ruocco: Your hair is amazing, I wish my curls were as nice as yours!

Waterlily716: @earlynovemberlove Yes, definitely see how the bottom layer dries on its own. What you could also do is do the style dry, and then spritz in a little water and spray gel and scrunch up the curls. hth :)

mldavis79: Just like everyone else said, your hair looks awesome in this video!!! This is the look I strive for daily and always seem to miss, haha. BTW, do you have a tattoo on your right wrist or was that just one of your hair ties?

Dadacomero: Your new new haircut is perfect !!! Especially on your face!

earlynovemberlove: I love the look of half-ups, but my problem with doing them is that my hair is mostly curly on the top layer and the curls are just kind of stretched out on the bottom layers, so when I pull the pretty curly part back it looks kind of bad. Any advice for getting the bottom to curl better? Or should I do half-ups when it's wet so the bottom layer has a better chance to curl without being weighed down?

BELLAinMIAMI: I LOVE YOUR HAIR! Soooooo beautiful!!

curlyhairlove: These hairstyles are really cute. =)

Waterlily716: @ilysarbear growing your hair out will definitely weight your hair down, but there is also stuff you can do now. how do you part your hair? side parts are usually better than middle parts. also a haircut with long layers will help--is your hair all one length? and lastly, it's important to use lots of moisture and heavy products when you style your hair if you want to weigh it down. hope that helps! i use to have triangle shaped hair when i first started taking care of my curls.

Waterlily716: Have you seen my videos on devacuts and haircuts in general? They are in the curly hair basics playlist that's linked on my channel page, and I talk a bit about hair cuts. Honestly it depends on what you want from your hair. It sounds like the bangs are working out for you. Short layers = more volume. Long layers = less volume. Face framing ones are good. It really also comes down to finding a good stylist. Check out the vids :)

ImSoAmelia: Your natural hair is so pretty! You look exactly like this girl i know but an older version

Deyonne Yabo: you helped us curly heads out! :))

Ron Ri: what products did you use for your hair?? it looks AMAZING!

KTC96: What kind of layering do you recommend for our kind of curly hair. I have bangs right now (side bangs) because I'm self conscious about my forehead which kinda sticks out than usual :/

yahaira8a: Love your hair and love ur videos! :)

Gabrielle Greiner: Gorgeous!!!!!

Waterlily716: It does become a little messier towards the end of the video--you can't tell from the video, but you can in real life HD. :) I use a lot of gel on my hair, and beyond that I am careful to not rip apart any curls while doing the style. I always try to work with the curls, especially for a style like this where they are on display. (In an updo, you can be a little more agressive.)

Elle A: your hair is soo pretty!

stuffstuffstuffyay: thanks! very cute.

KTC96: we have the same curly hair...I swear lol. I have a mixture of light/ medium thick curls and ringlets...I use ouidad gels and it works amazing but they are kinda expensive. u can look it up online. also...I get kinda nervous with half up styles because I feel like my face structure is bleh :/ help?

Anna Barachanou: thnx you helped a lot :D

Waterlily716: @eMiLyIsMyNaMe99 My hair (currently) is an inch or two past bra strap length when curly and dry. When stretched I am getting rly close to waist. :)

Rachel: your hair looks sos sos sososos gorgeous here!! what did you use!!!

lov3music22: Love the hair styles!!! Quick question, what is that song called that was playing in the background?

Waterlily716: @laurenfelton my favorites are l'oreal voluminous and another from l'oreal that is voluminzing. it comes in an oblong, black tube, but i can't remember the name. i just have really longe eyelashes though lol. :)

Niki Lareida: Please tell me which what kind of cream or spray do you use to define your curls, they are amazing !!!!*.*

Caroline Kopp: how long is your hair when its dry?

lov3music22: @waterlily716 Thanks! Btw I followed you on tumblr and twitter... Hope that doesn't sound creepy lol

Whipped for Kim Seokjin: u make me love my curls, ty xD

Waterlily716: please check out my curly hair routine and my styling curly hair wet videos to see what products i use and how i apply them. the videos are in the curly hair basics playlist on my channel page :)

Waterlily716: @toastedkittens yeah i just got a conditioner and shampoo by them. i will be reviewing soon. :)

MultiTheused: i like all of them! the things is my curly/wavy is cut up into short layer ( the damn stylist) so can i still do this hairstyle

Waterlily716: @miamitchell91 it's dry in this video. you get nice volume if you do it dry, but you can do it either way.

Waterlily716: @RiseToOffend how short is your hair? most of these styles should work on shoulder length hair. :)

Kay Perfection: Wish my curly hair was like yours, mine is just POOF if I don't put anything on it and your is perf , it's like it was curled with a curling iron haha :)

Waterlily716: also the products i used that day are in the description.

Waterlily716: @tugtug9 it sounds like you need to use lighter products. try using a light gel or a curl creme.

Waterlily716: @happysavy suave naturals CO wash GVP matrix biolage conditioning balm rinse out CO kinky curly knot today as a leave in curl keeper LA looks sport gel :) i will work on that video. :)

Waterlily716: This is my natural hair texture in the video... If you don't believe me check out my wet styling video....

Waterlily716: @ColombianaXO7 i have no idea honestly. the most important thing is to find an experienced hairstyle. it sounds like your hair would like longer layers rather than shorter ones though.

Katie Davis: I don't understand how your hair doesn't become super frizzy when you are working with it when it's dry.

Uniquely Quis: Are you keeping up with the curly girl method...? Im thinking about following that method...

Regina Saucier: what shampoo do you use?

Waterlily716: @lov3music22 at the beginning? it's a piece by chopin - nocture in f sharp :)

Waterlily716: @ronnieeeex3 suave naturals CO wash GVP matrix biolage conditioning balm rinse out CO kinky curly knot today as a leave in curl keeper LA looks sport gel :)

Waterlily716: @jezuzfrekify i don't use shampoo very often. check my profile for a list of the products I use everyday.

Sherri2008: The classical music was a really nice touch.

Waterlily716: I have heard of ouidad, yes. :) I'm a cheapskate, so I just use drugstore stuff mainly. What is your question exactly?

XxPnuemaxX: I only have 2b/c hair. So much hair envy.

Waterlily716: @segarmini55 check the description :)

Waterlily716: @nor22quis yup! :) it's the best.

Waterlily716: @makeupnerdful hey hey hey soulmate :) welcome to the channel.

Waterlily716: @mldavis79 lol it was a temporary tatoo. if i get a tatoo it will be someplace where no one can see it. :)

Caitlyn: You either need to speak more clearly or get a better camera, because I can't understand you at all

Serenity S: my hair looks like a fur ball next to yours :(
