Easy Waterfall Braid Hair Tutorial : For Straight& Curly Hair

Hey guys thanks so much for watching today's video, I'm going to show you how to create this waterfall braid, which is perfect for bridesmaids, so I'm going to do the same style on two different types of hair, curly and straight. So, let's get started now. The first step is going to be washing your hair, so we use the repair and protect shampoo and conditioner from Pantene. Pro-V gave her a quick blowout, then we're gon na start with a center part. Then I'm going to just take one side and clip it off and we'll return to that later and I'm going to add a little bit of Pantene's ultimate 10 BB cream. I love this because it smells good it controls frizz and adds shine among many other things. So rub it around in my hands: it's not sticky at all. So do not be afraid to run this through your hair. This is just going to help keep our braids really nice and neat. Next, we are going to take a small section in the front split it in three they're going to cross over the right section over the middle. Then the left section over the middle once more. It is the right section over the middle. Then we are going to take the left section and cross that over the middle now when we do that cross over we're going to add a little bit of hair. So this is kind of like a French braid, but with a little twist, because when we move over to the right hand side again, we are going to let that piece fall. Then taking a small section next to it. You'Re gon na cross that over the middle - and this is how the waterfall is starting to come together so again, you're just going to cross over the left section, add a piece to that left section and come back to the right section. Let that piece fall grab a small section next to it cross it over the center return to your left side cross that over the center then you're going to bring over another small section. Added to that then you're going to tie it off in the back with a clear elastic band, and it should look something like this. Now I'm going to transition over to the curly hair and I'm going to use Pantene snow crunch, curls whip, it's a moisturizer plus styler and it looks like a whipped cream and it smells amazing. Just helps us soften up the hair. You can use this on dry or wet hair and again I'm going to be doing that front section into three pieces overlapping the right side. Then we're going to add a little bit of hair. To that, then I'm going to overlap the left side over the center. Add a small piece to that section as well, then we're going to create the waterfall on the side. So I'm going to leave this part down pick up a small section next to it cross that over at the center again, the left over add some of that to that left section that crossed over the center leave. This part out pick up a small section. Next to it cross that over and continue, I just love the style, because anyone can do it just as long as you have about at least shoulder length, hair, so thick curly or short hair. Everybody can enjoy this and it's perfect for your bridal party. Also, I'm going to give it a little bit more of an elegant touch by using this nice crystal and pearl clip. I actually found this one at a drugstore believe it or not. So not only are the hair accessories affordable, but so are all the products that I used in this video as well. So you can do it yourself and save tons of money. Then I'm gon na top off this hairstyle with a little bit of flexible, hold hairspray, and this is the final look.
