This is a hair tutorial on how to do an updo on naturally curly hair. First the hair is twirled and diffused. Next, the hair is secured into 2 pony tails. Finally, the hair is all pinned up into a beautiful updo hairstyle.

Hi, I'm Tammy and today I'm going to show you how to do an updo and curly hair. What we're going to do is we're going to wet this down we're going to wash this and then I'm going to twirl it and diffuse. It then we're going to put it up into an updo, I'm going to be using curls rack by TG, I'm going to work it into her hair really well we're going to do maybe about 1 inch, 2 inch sections and I'm actually just going to twirl this Around my finger take my piece like this and just swirl it you don't want to throw them all in the same way you want to twirl. Maybe one going this way, one going that way. Now I'm going to take my next section, it doesn't have to be perfect sections that can be grabbed sporadically, I section the hair off just so. I have more control, they don't have to be perfect sections, but again you want to twirl them in different directions. So they're not all going in the same direction. This is a nice alternative to taking a curling iron to your hair for an updo for curly hair. This is going to make it lay a little bit nicer. Give it more direction you can actually. Just if you want to twirl your hair like this, you can actually let it air dry and just let it go. It'S kind of a cute way to wear your hair. Today, we're going to be using a diffuser on it. Now I've told all her hair. It'S all twirled, and now I'm going to diffuse it with my blow-dryer, I'm going to use a diffuser. It just connects onto the dryer like this. You really don't have to do a lot of scrunching you really, since it's already twirled up, you really just have to kind of lay it on the diffuser. Once we get towards the crown and the top right over here, we're going to have I'm going to have her tilt her head back, so she can get more of a lift. Okay, I'm going to have her! Stick her head upside down to do the front part! Okay, this is what her hair looks like after its diffused I'm going to put a little oil in it now. Actually, I'm going to use a little bit of smoothing serum I'm going to use Redken glass, I'm just going to run that through my ads through her hair, it kind of helps. Okay, I'm going to put her hair into two low ponytails. I don't want it to be real tight. We want to. We don't want to lose the little bit of wave in here, so make sure going to do is sort of messy, not real placed ponytails. I'M just going to use we're going to do it real loose. You don't want to use like a little skinny scrunchie. You want to use kind of a thicker one that'll hold now. What I did is I left the front section out because we're going to pull this back into it after I pin this all up. So I'm just going to take some regular bobby pins, just regular, bobby pins, I'm going to pin up section at a time and make sure you're going to sort of twirl it, and you want to chew it. I'M going to I'm going to sort of twirl it around. The main thing is, I just want to get this off doesn't have to be in any special way, I'm just going to twirl it and get it off sort of in like a little bomb like a mess, Yvonne. No, she looks pretty good. I like the way this and, as you can see, I'm sort of just getting it all up like that, and now I'm going to work this back into it. That'S right! Okay, we're just going to keep pulling this back see. The reason why I left this out is because I didn't want this pulled tightly back. I wanted it to just be loosely pulled back, so it had a wave in there now you just want to play with it and sort of mold it to where you want it to go. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to play with it and mold it where I want it to go in and I'll show you the results. Okay, these are the results from our up to okay. That'S it
