Hair makes me feel a little anxious to be honest. I’ve only gotten my hair cut by one person, and it was a very bad experience., Letting somebody else touch. My hair is kind of a big deal.. My name is Erin and today I’m going to transform this. Stick straight dry mess into some luscious beautiful curls., I’m a mom from LA and a make-up artist.. When I was younger, my mom used to do my hair until I was about 12 years, old. She’d flat iron, it every single weekend.. My mom used to be really strict about me doing anything with my hair, but when I cut it up to my shoulders after it being waste length, she just saw me from a distance and her mouth dropped and she cried As though I had just died. These Days, I will straighten it sometimes, but I try not to too much because I don’t want it to get more damaged. So when I do it, curly it’ll last for like a couple of days. I’ve heard about the Olaplex treatment, before. I’ve never tried it, but I definitely need to because I just tried to bleach my own hair by mistake and I really damaged it. It’s been five Years since I had my daughter and I used to be the type of person that would change my hair color every month, maybe. I would have every single color and I haven’t. It’s, just been black and plain for a long time and I just lightened it and I’M kind of like opening up to having a new style, again. And out of all the millions of colors I’ve had I’ve never done. Blonde. I’ve never had a curl treatment before so I think this is gon na, be pretty awesome to have my hair. Look how it should look back to its natural state.. I just want the world to know with this new hair style that I am a bad bitch., I’m, Justin Anderson and I’m a hair colorist here at the dpHUE house, in Los Angeles California.. I’M also the co-founder of the dpHUE hair product line. Hi., Hey there how’s it going Good. How are you I’m, Justin., So nice to meet you in person. Good to meet you. Welcome to DPHue house.. Thank you so much., I never let anybody do my hair or my makeup, and so it is a little bit nervewracking to trust someone else to get their fingers all up in this, but we’ll see how it goes. All right. So I’m just gon na kind of change up your color, a bit., I’m gon na keep you nice and light, but I’m gon na make it as natural as possible. And I'm gon na do that by keeping you kind of natural at the root and making the Blonde pieces be everything that kind of frames your face.. I don’t want you to have like a solid line when it grows in. So months after seeing me, I still want it to look kind of believable and natural so that you’re not a slave to the salon. Good thinking.. So right in here I’m just kind of evening up where the color got a little blotchy before.. It looks like there’s kind of some panels in here that I’m just kind of going through and evening it out., And so this is kind of the lightening process. And then we’ll go back through and we will soften your base color. All right. So we got all the highlights in. Now, we’re gon na go in between the foils and do the root color. And what that’s gon na do is just soften your natural, color and kind of blend. The highlights, together before we go in and lighten up all those tips.. This is the last time I’m ever touching my own hair again for the rest of my life. Okay. So we have the base color on in between the foils kind of blending, everything together and now I’m gon na go through and lighten up those ends to get those nice bright, tips.. So excited. They look like that, bitch. All right. So all the foils are in.. We just put in these tips so we’re gon na go ahead and heat up those ends with the defuser on the blow-dryer to get those to catch up to the top. And then everything’ll be rinsed out and you’ll get your final gloss.. Yes, I cannot wait to see it.. Then after we’ve washed, everything out, we gloss their hair all over to kind of seal. In the color. Add a bunch of extra shine., Hey. Hi. How are you I'm good.? I am Tippi Shorter. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you., So I am gon na cut and style, and I wanted to allow your hair to dry. Naturally, so I can see what I’m cutting. And I can see that, like on this side, it’s a little curlier. On this side, less curly., so I will compensate for that in the cut.. So we just established your shape. It looks amazing. So now I’m just gon na wet you down, apply some product to defuse and finish.. Oh my God, it’s incredible. How beautiful. This is so good. Wow. This color is gorgeous.. I'Ve never had my curls, be so perfect before.. I can’t believe it’s healthier than when we started. Working with Erin was a lot of fun today.. To be honest, her hair was a little bit close to being damaged, so I wanted to make sure to use really really gentle products. Using Olaplex in the color, really helped keep her hair super healthy, but still get it to the light color that I wanted it To be. Also any time you’re going lighter with your blonde, you want to make sure to keep those brights really really bright by using a product like the cool blonde, shampoo and conditioner. That’ll neutralize any yellow in your hair and make sure that the blonde stays super Super bright., My experience was unbelievable. Actually. Have you ever seen, someone do a magic trick and it stumped you and haunted you for weeks days years, Justin. He’s, a magician., He’s, amazing. He’s such a sweet person and like do you see what he did right. I think this is the first time my hair has ever been amazing and it’s, a complete transformation., My curls actually look moisturized. They’re the same everywhere., It’s kind of remarkable.. A new bar has been set.. I will never touch boxed dye. Ever again. I swore to Justin. E.M. Smiley: This was a good way to help her transition her hair to being curly more often. I understand the criticism of Tippi using a curling wand, but it looks like she did it sparingly to define some of the pieces that weren't as curly after using the diffuser. She addressed that she had varied curly textures, so it makes sense that she'd do that. ♀️

2008MrsKim: This is really nice. Your hair is perfect. I had always straightened my hair and it became really dry and lost some curl pattern. I then bleached it and even with Olaplex, it broke badly. Now no curls, frizzy, and some parts are stick straight. Think I'm gonna do the shave real soon.

Ashlee Franshell: Options to getting your curl pattern back 1. Big chop 2. Chop it to your shoulder, get a haircut regularly 3. NO HEAT, NO HEAT, NO HEAT 4. Use products that are silicone free, sulfate free, ect. 5. What works for others may not work for you. 6. It takes time and dedication. Most definitely money.
