Hi friends today, I'm gon na be sharing my hair care routine. For my five-year-old and my three-year-olds, this is a sometimes weekly, sometimes bi-weekly routine, that I'm gon na be sharing with you guys, but first, if this is your first time watching me, hello, welcome to my channel. My name is Jia. I'M a working mom who posts all types of videos. I would love for you to hit the subscribe button and become a part of my YouTube family and for those already subscribed welcome back. So I tried to deep condition and wash their hair once a week, and if it's not once a week, it's definitely once every two weeks. So I put the conditioner on their hair first and let that sit for a while. I let them play around so that I don't have to get them in the sink twice, so I definitely deep condition first and right now. This is the deep conditioner that we're currently using it's called aunt. Jackie'S fix my hair. It'S a deep conditioner and I typically wash their hair in the kitchen sink, it's just easier for me and them again. I don't have to get them up there twice, because I let them play around with the deep conditioner in their hair for anywhere up to 20. To 30 minutes then, I'm, like I said I just put them on the scene down on the kitchen counter here or lay them down and wash their hair in the sink, and it's usually comfortable for them. But sometimes you know it can get hard with my three-year-old. But she just relaxes, as you could see, she kind of calms her down and she gets kind of sleepy as I massage your head, but I make sure to rinse out all the deep conditioner and then I wash it with a gentle shampoo. And then I co wash it before I'm finished with it. So this is the style that I ended up doing for both of them. That day, I like to keep it really simple for myself and just a cute style that I can tie down at night with some beads and some pets, because they love beads and barrettes and I'll be sharing later on in the video. The actual products that I used to create this look because saw how I washed their hair. That was how I wash Ava's hair. It was napping so I'm taking Czar's hair down and I'm gon na wash it and condition it, and while she, while I'm doing that, she's working on some math problems and writing them in, and so I am deep conditioning stars here today and what I did is I just wet it with just plain water and I finger combed, the conditioner in her hair and I'm just letting it dry and I'll let this sit for maybe about 20 minutes. Another thing that I do is, I add, like peppermint oil in around her edges and then I massage it look up for me baby and then I massage it like this for about five minutes. Oh look at mine along her hairline for her edges, because sometimes they could be stressed with the braids and it's I find it that it relaxes her and then it helps to for the peppermint castle. Well, it's actually Jamaican black, castor oil tea tree. Excuse me not peppermint the tea tree oil to really get into her scalp and to help the hair grow. Look this way baby. Look this way. Thank you to help her hair grow here. So I just like massaging like that, when my fingertips very softly for about five minutes and like I said that helps for the castor oil tea tree oil, it's like castor oil and tea tree oil, mixed together to get into her scalp. I am deep conditioning Zara's hair with this intensive hydration hair masque by Shea Moisture. This is my first time using it. It smells delicious, very good consistency, very thick kind of consistency. If, if I don't use this, I typically use this fixed. My hair intensive repair conditioning mask this one's okay. I mean it's, it's okay, I probably wouldn't buy it again. I am going to use it up. It'S kind of light, it's not as heavy. So it's like it's okay for Zara's hair. It doesn't work as well. For my hair or Ava's hair Zara's hair is fine. I'M her hair takes to pretty much anything, so I might use it on the rest of it on Zahra, but you know it's okay, but for today I'm using this and I'll. Let you guys know how I like it so once a month I use this. This is like a clarifying shampoo, meaning that it really cleans really deep cleans your hair and it's not drying. But I find that sometimes using this every week was a bit much on their hair because they didn't need that much moisture taken away with the apple cider. Vinegar and everything, but once a month I will use this, but in between I'll show you what I use. I use this tear-free nourishing shampoo smells really good. It'S sulfate free gluten, free, parabens or mineral oils. The ingredients look not so bad now, just FYI for anybody. Who'S not familiar with Shea Moisture line. Their line is all-natural. It'S like organic. Shea butter, jamaican black, castor oil, there's. Never any sulfates parabens violates you know. The list goes on and on so all of their line is natural. This Cantu line, you know it's sulfate free. It'S just something to use in between. You can use a lot of it. It'S relatively inexpensive things. I think this was like about three bucks at Walmart, so I use this like. I said on the weeks that I actually wash their hair and it doesn't need their hair doesn't need to be clarified and I just like I say, try to keep a temple at one point. I was a product junkie, but I told myself I'm not gon na buy any more products. Until I finish what I have after I wash their hair once or twice with the Cantu I wash with this co-wash condensed conditioned conditioning cleaner. I really love this stuff. You can see we use most of it, love it because it acts the moisture back in the hair and cleanses it as well did. Most of you probably already know what this smells like they this scent. They have in like soap and no body scrubs and everything else. This smells really good and I really really like it for their hair so because I do the conditioning typically the deep conditioning before I wash their hair. I have to add something back in there to put the conditioning back in there, because it's hard to get my kids to you know for me to wash their hair and then we I let them down. I put the conditioner on and for them to go back under the sink, it's just too much. So that's why I find my you know. I keep conditioned beforehand. Ok, so I took the towel in her shirt so her that her shirt doesn't get wet. Then I fold it up like this, the other half and then she lays down lay down baby. They don't go ahead all the way down. So that way, her shirt doesn't get wet. Ok, so I just finished washing her hair and I bought this from the Dollar Tree. It'S terry cloth. This is what i like to use to dry her hair because it doesn't strip all of the natural oils. Out of it and like I said it's at the Dollar Tree, it doesn't fit my head because my I have too much hair, but it does fit her hair. So I let that dry for a minute, and this is what it looks like. So this is what her hair looks like, and so now I'm going to use this stuff right here is literally like magic when it comes to detangling, it's very rare for me to find a product that works on all three of our hair types of our hair. All three of us and me and my two daughters - we all have different types of hair, so this product works wonders on all three of us, and so that is like, where, like I said so, I'm gon na use this to detangle and then braid it up And add our beads, I also like to use. I also like to use this on her hair. I'Ll, add a little bit of this. You know and put this on as I'm getting ready to braid and last but not least, I will add this to her scalp and on the ends of her hair, because I just like to keep her scalp moisturized so and that's it. I have my parting comb. My favorite parting comb and another small tooth comb, so let's get started, don't massage hair, it's just a simple style: I'm not the best breeder and I don't care if it's not if it gets fuzzy and stuff. I just don't want to pull on her edges or anything like that, but look anything, but is this the simple style for school he was here needs to be done. I'M just pooped it's hard for me to do both of their hand. The same day, you see the lint that gets caught after a week of this style, but this stuff really holds up well for her for her hair. So I'm gon na redo it like this, but tomorrow. So that's it guys. Thank you guys so much for watching. Like I said it's hard for me to do both of their hair in one day, so I try to split it up and do one on Friday and one on Sunday, and I try to fit myself somewhere in between there, but give me a thumbs up. If you like this type of video, thank you guys so much for watching if you haven't hit that subscribe button, yet tap my picture up above, and you can also check out my previous video right there on the screen and all my social media platforms all listed Down below and I'll see you in the next video

DioneN: Your girls are so adorable and so patient and calm while you do their hair! I'm white so my hair is pretty easy but I'm fascinated by the complexities of caring for natural African hair. One evening I got sucked into watching a bunch of videos on it and I don't even know why but it was so interesting!

Britney Grey: I would love to see an updated curly hair routine with tips and tricks!

MiMi Gardner: I enjoyed watching this! I have 4 daughters...3 have 4c, very thick hair and 1 has 4b very thick hair. it took me 5 hours Saturday to take down, detangle and section their hair to wash, it took me equally as long to wash their hair in the shower yesterday. After the wash I moisturized their hair and put them in four big braids to dry. I will NOT be styling all of their hair in the same day! I will style each of their hair on different days. Their hair is getting so thick and long that I will NEVER wash all of their heads in one day again!!! Everyone gets a day! LOL!

Ecola Jackson-Knox: Hi Jia, thank you for the video. I have two daughters. Definitely will try a few of your suggested products. Can you do a natural hair video for us mommies?

Keme B: Thanks for sharing. I know hair wash days are the pit lol. I remember when my babies were that little it was stressful cos my youngest is so tender headed. Not much easier now they are older (11 and 15). Still stressful lol. Your babies are so adorable

Mama With A Fro: Awesome! Would love to see your hair routine, installs etc. I ended up just cutting all mine off as a busy mom. Would love to keep it in protective styles but haven't found nice looking affordable units...

Neya B: An item that helps me when washing my daughter's hair in the sink is using a bath pillow. She can lay back comfortably while I'm washing her hair. I use Aunt Jackies kids line of products for my daughter's hair and it leaves it feeling soft and moisturized. I also spray her hair daily with a mixture of water, leave in conditioner, and some type of oil. Thanks for sharing ☺

Jeunnesse: Love their curl pattern! Do you use a protein treatment as well? I did the jbco masque from shea moisture on my 3 year olds hair yesterday and her hair so much more bouncy and thick. I'm thinking about incorporating a protein treatment in her regimen once a month.

NaturalbeautyJ: Great video and my daughter and I use the shea moisture products as well. I shampoo my daughter on the counter top as well and she is 12 (lol) and she still likes it that way and it is still just easier to just do it that way even though she is a big girl now and will be 13 next month. Also you may try folding a towel and placing that under their neck for comfort as well and also a friend also suggested getting one of the pool toys you can get from the dollar tree that is a long tube and using that for support of the neck but I haven't tried that yet.

Wendy Shoniregun: Soo happy I have 2 boys. Doing my own natural hair is enough for me. lol. Great job! Will try the products. Thanks for sharing!

Jenita Lovingit GROCERIES EVERY WEEK : Hi, Jia and family !!! Enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing it. Enjoy your week. Hugs to you.

Chelsea Leilani: What beautiful hair! Ah, love it.

Wilmatine Harris: Hello Jia, I love the way you do there hair. I have four girls in the house and all of them have different types of hair. So I am going to buy those products that I seen on your channel. Thanks and keep the shows coming.

Steel Magnolia33: Ah...washing the hair in the kitchen sink! Brings back memories - and, that's how I wash my two daughters' hair! :-) Great video!

Missy Cutie: Love your videos! Just wanted to let you know that tea tree oil took my edges out! I know everyone's hair is different so it may be great for your girls! just wanted to let you know just in case

Veri Keri: Loved this video. Ahhh hair wash day...lol. You are sooooo blessed not to have tender headed children. Of all the tasks that I have to do as a mom washing Reagan's hair is by far the worse!! She is super tender headed...if you look at her hair she cries...lol. Rae is 15 and she still climbs on the sink and I wash her hair the same way you do with your girls :) I always alternated weeks with my two girls for washing their hair because it is a bit much to try and takedown, wash and rebraid both their heads in the same day.

Dominique L: Yayyy thank you!! **saves video to watch later** heading to work but I will watch this on break

moNATUREnique: I use the manauka honey for my and my daughters hair. I think you could put on a processing cap for a more deep condition. The heat from them running around would be great. I love their little curls.

PerksLife Uncensored: Oh man ...wash day is coming up for me too and we have 3 girls. I totally wish I knew how to braid like you! Your girls are super cuteee

Velveeta Mercado: You have a very very beautiful and blessed family. I love your videos. Very informative and much needed. Thank you. God bless you

Erika A: Thanks for sharing! Not sure how much counter space you have, but maybe you'd be interested in a Shampoo Mate. It's a foam support for your girls' neck and head. It kinda turns your sink into a salon style shampoo bowl. It makes wash day with my niece sooo much easier!

Nonnie Webb: I definitely remember the days of laying on the kitchen counter to get my hair washed lol

Elodie Jones: cutest videoshe has beautiful hair x

Donna Simon: Yeeessss!!! Washing hair in the sink. I still wash my hair and my daughter's hair in the sink some times. Something I grew up doing. I have tried many of these products but not the detangling slip Beautiful results your girls are adorable.

curlykiki: feeling extra grateful for one girl twin and one boy twin.

sweetiepop01: I still wash my 10 year old's hair in the kitchen sink. Get a shampoo mate. It is a life saver! Your girls can lay comfortably with their heads supported without you having hold the the head.

Precious J: Love it!

Shanekqua Denise: I have two girls (5 and 3) and I wash their hair the same way except I wash then deep condition and put them back in the sink. you are right it is hard. I'm going to try deep conditioning first

Lisa McKoy: Your girls are beautiful Jia!

Jeunnesse: Oh and I shampoo and deep condition at the same time. I do the shampoo only on her scalp and then spritz with water and massage. Then I put deep conditioner in her hair and let it sit. After an hour I wash everything out of her hair. This has been a time saver and her hair doesn't get dry because of shampooing after deep conditioner.

Chrisoula Lakkas: "I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have" -Thomas Jefferson

Christa Mims: I wish I knew how to braid. How did you learn?

82seeker: Your girls are beautiful!

Wendy Valencia: I am sharing this video with a girlfriend of mine!!! She adopted a little girl with a similar hair texture and she has NO CLUE what to do.

Rebecca Doyle: Such good girls to let you wash their hair like that! Their hairstyles are adorable!x

IAmHeleneMarie: If your interested, They sale a salon size of the Soultanicals Products on their website.
