Hi guys welcome back to my channel for today's video, i'm going to be showing you guys some quick and easy hairstyles that you can do on curly hair. I'M actually going to be doing a different hairstyle over the course of a couple days. Just so that it's a little more realistic in regards to the state of my hair. For that day i just washed my hair. I do have some wash day videos on my youtube channel if you'd like to check those out so to kick off the hairstyles, i'm going to start with two french braids. This will only be the third time that i've ever french braided my hair. I really just looked up a tutorial on youtube. I will link it down below for you guys to watch, because i don't know if i'm gon na be able to teach how to actually french braid. You don't have to be like great at this, because it's harder to tell on curly hair if you mess something up. So i have my little comb. I'M just gon na do like a part down the middle, put one half to the side and then just start. I'M not very good at like parting, my hair, i watch videos and people just like all right. All that you will need for any of these hairstyles is full combed. Apart honestly, you don't even need a comb. I just got this the two other times that i french braided, my hair. I didn't use a comb to part my hair. I actually used scissors, that's so bad. They weren't open. Obviously, but like i didn't, have a comb, so i just parted it that way, but yeah, maybe you need a comb a little spray bottle, just because at least with this hairstyle you want to do it while your hair is wet, it's just easier. Why is this piece so much longer, so i'm just going to wet my hair. This is a combination of water and hair product. There'S not a ton of hair product in it not enough to like be sufficient for this, but i do have hair product so spray bottle comb hair product. That'S all you need i'm using the uh shea moisture, curl enhancing smoothie. This is my go-to, always just gon na get my normal amount, the reason i'm putting product, even though i'm like braiding. It is because well one i want the braids to hold and like still look good, but then also also sorry about this, like lighting, it's dark, but that's because my mirror just happens to be over here. I'M gon na just kind of brush it out make sure your hair is wet when you brush it, i'm not doing a lot just kind of doing it to make sure i'm able to braid it kind of like parting a little bit just so that you're, starting With like a cute little chunk, i just got my hair done too, so i have like some more blonde in my hair, which is a lot of fun but yeah, i'm basically going to start with, like a normal braid. Do you see that i just did like one normal braid and then you just do the french braid all the way back and the only way i really know how to describe french braiding is like you just grab more hair. Okay, i had some technical difficulties because i thought i knew how to french braid and i don't so i'm actually watching a tutorial as i do this. It'S fine, because with curly hair you hopefully won't be able to tell i'm just gon na stop talking and speed. This up, for you guys all right. I did one side if, i'm being completely honest, it was probably the worst french braiding i've ever done. So let me show you the back. I don't know if you can see anyways on to the next side. Hopefully, this side is a little bit easier, but honestly that's the beauty of curly hair. You might not be able to tell grab my product put it through, because i want this to last brush it through a little bit, even though, for some reason it gets extremely tangled, as i braid it. So it's like, i do kind of feel like i'm brushing it for nothing. Do it anyway, just because who knows if it's making a difference right all right! Folks, let's see if this side's any better, i'm gon na do my little corner piece here. You got ta start with something put it into three pieces because that's what a braid is gon na do a normal braid first and then we begin grab a piece hold those two, so they don't get in the mix right grab a piece put it over um. Okay, next side, we grab a piece, see guys we're learning together tbh at this point and i'm not gon na lie. I lost my piece where's my piece, i have my two. I lost. My third is this her? I don't know if this is her, but guess what i'm putting it over grab a piece lose a piece but put it over anyway, because why not i messed up, i messed up and i've lost all my pieces and now it's just like hair. So guess what i'm going to create my own pieces? Because who said i can't i'm going to create my own brush out our little tail here, do a little uh, this side's already drying. So it's like getting shorter than this side, but we did it. We did it guys here are my french, french braids anyway, because i know that this doesn't look great. You can spice it up with a scarf she's large. So i just like put her in a triangle like so and then i kind of roll it just to make it a little smaller. So then it's kind of like that. We go like this and then you got yourself a cute little do or if you don't have a huge scarf like so this is okay to take on and off my head, because it's silky always get one. That'S like a good material like that. If you have curly hair, this one is like already made it's from target. It was eight dollars. Look at how cute that is. Are you kidding, so guess what you don't have to be good at breeding underneath does not look good. I'M not gon na give you a close-up cheese, final product, i put on a teeny bit of makeup, just to really feel complete the braids like really they look fine and there you have it. That is hairstyle number one. Whenever i do french braid my hair, i say whenever, as if i do it all the time, this is only the third time. I'Ve done it, but i love doing it. I don't actually like the act of doing it, as you saw. I actually hate it, but i really like how it looks and once you do it, you can have it for like a day or two. Maybe three three is kind of a stretch. Normally, when i do it, i leave it for one or two days and then, when you take the braids out, you have a whole new hairstyle, so the next hairstyle is going to be that okay hi. It is a couple days later. It'S two days later i have kept my braids in the whole time so now the next hairstyle is literally just going to be just having your hair down, but because of the braids there's now a different curl pattern. So you have different curl pattern for a day. That'S fun. The trick is, though, is to make sure that when you do the braids you put enough product so that when you take them out, you can actually leave your hair down without it getting insane. So we're gon na see how this looks, because if you recall, i had a hard time with these braids and these were definitely the worst ones. I'Ve done so far. So let's just give it a whirl. I almost forgot argan oil or any oil. I already started. That'S awkward, but i just want to have this on my fingers on my hands. While i do this so that i minimize the amount of frizz and friction that i cause while i am taking them out all right, one side down, i'm so excited - i haven't done this with my new like blonde highlights yet so that looks that looks fun and Fresh okay, other side make sure i still have nice oily hands, just kind of shake them out a little bit, get them to come down a little, be gentle when you're like pulling them apart. Just because you don't want to create more frizz than you need to. I'M gon na just take a little bit more oil just because i did dye my hair and so because of the blonde and the bleach and stuff just my hair in general. After dyeing, it is probably going to be drier than normal, but that's just what happens when you dye your hair, so add a little bit more oil. I did pick apart this little piece a little too much, but you can just hide it and that's it. That'S hairstyle number two: it's just leaving your hair down, but you have a different curl pattern for a day: okay, hello. It is the next day today i'm going to do two little buns. My hair is in a pineapple while i shake her out. If i wanted to, i could take my spray bottle and refresh a little bit and honestly leave it down again, but i don't want to i'm going to part it a little bit. I'M not going to use a comb for this parting just because i'm lazy, and i also want you guys to see that all these hairstyles are like super easy and you don't really need any sort of tools or anything, i'm just gon na part. Honestly, i've done my two buns without a spray bottle. I'Ve just done it normal, i'm gon na add just a little bit just to like make it a little bit neater. So i've got two hair ties. I like to do these towards the back, because i know my hair and i know it's still gon na come forward. I don't like to do it like right on the side, because it just like feels like too much for me, so i'm just gon na go backwards and i'm gon na do two little buns simple. As that one and there you go. That'S literally the next hairstyle. Also, just like a little random tip, accessorizing makes everything better, especially when my hair is like in a bun or just like away from my face, i like to wear earrings and like jewelry, just to make me feel more put together. I just feel like it does. So much i don't know so, there's that hairstyle, okay just kidding, i decided to add a scarf just because i wanted to feel fun. Um and i like to have the little ties come out. I don't know that might be like personal preference, all right guys. Last hairstyle of this video and this hairstyle is literally the easiest thing, my absolute go-to all the time and it's literally just a slicked back bun. I used to be like not against these, but i didn't love the slicked back. Look i used to never like put anything in my hair when i did this and i recently started just kind of wetting it and it really like it just helps it stay all day, because i have found that when i just feel like that, it looks good For like the first hour and then like it starts to get a little frizzy, but when i spray it it does a little better, so little low bun. Here we come and literally that's it like that's the whole hairstyle, it's just a bun. Of course, i did not forget my little hoops makes everything better. Jewelry just makes you look ten times more put together. That is hairstyle number four and that's the last one. So i really hope that you guys enjoyed this video if you did don't forget to like it subscribe. Do all the things check out my older curly hairstyles video, if you have shorter hair, because my hair was much shorter, when i filmed that one than this go watch that one?
