Now, here's another great technique for naturally curly hair. Remember it's all about the integrity. You don't want to create frizz with natural curl when you want to create a sense of volume on the top. This technique is great. It'S called spacing simply take a section or where you desire to create the volume. So, let's work on the top comb through your section now we're going to create this section, this technique with the number three once I have, the number three your hand slides in the scissor, comes in now, depending upon the density, the wider, I open, the more hair. I'M going to take out the less I open, the less I take out now. It'S simple to do don't be concerned about cutting yourself because you're going to touch and close on the way out. If you close on the way in, you may cut yourself just tap and close on the way out, so I'm going to open slightly notice. As I cut, I move the scissor from left to right right to left and I slide my hand up. This is what's giving me erratic links inside of the natural curl. This is what's going to achieve a sense of volume for that naturally curly client, that wants to maintain the length the wants, a small sense of volume up in the top area. My hair looked wonderful for a couple of months, I did not have to use a lot of products, there was no freeze. It was just perfect . A good hair cut makes a huge difference. So sorry I can not have a hair cut now because of lockdown .

Us: Everyone remembering horror stories of being "cut like this" with naturally curly hair....he says DONT slice bc it will frizz, which is true. . My guess is you had someone slice your locks instead. I've watched razors be taken to naturally textured hair and not frizz bc the stylist knew how to actually use a razor and not shred the poor girls hair. Just a thought

ibkristykat: you don't want frizz yet you're dry combing the curly hair you expect not to be frizzy. take it from someone whose hair HATES being brushed... WET comb with a WIDE tooth comb. can't handle listening to this if you're gonna dry comb or brush curly hair, which WILL frizz the more you brush it while dry. it just WILL. SMH
