Hi I'm T Cooper, I'm in New York, City, makeup artist, hair stylist and co-founder of beauty and grooming company Metro. Look a question. One of you recently asked was: how do I make my shaggy straight hair, less poofy, and it's a misconception a lot of times that people think just because people's hair tends to be more on the straight side. It doesn't like poof up and whatever, because look right here. My model she's got straight hair, but at the bottoms it kind of like poof's up just a little bit and her hair isn't necessarily shaggy, but it's straight and it tends to get I'll call it frizzy. We won't call it instead of poofy, we'll say it gets a little frizzy, so one of the best things to do is to straighten it with a flat iron. But before I straighten up the hair, I like to put a little bit of product on it. First, so I'm gon na grab my argan oil. If you guys have seen me before, you know, I'm an argan oil addict and just rub it together and then run it through the hair and concentrate on the tips, because you want to make sure that you get those tips because they tend to be more on The dry side, and if you're gon na put heat on the hair, you want to have some kind of moisture in there or else your hair, it's gon na, be fried. So you see it's a little bit poofy right here, so we're just gon na brush through it, I'm gon na go in with my flat iron and just smooth it, and I like to go over it twice, just to make sure the straightening has happened, and you Can immediately tell the difference between the straightened hair and the unstraight in hair, even though her hair is still straight naturally, but it tends to pouf up a little bit at the ends. I give it a final brush and then you've got a nice sleek hair. Look at that nice sleek hair right there, I'm Dee Cooper and thank you for watching.
