Hey everyone kaley your friendly neighborhood hair stylist here and today i'm going to be trying out some viral hair hacks, let's see if they work all right guys. Today we have another analora produced video. She hello has scoured tick tock to find hair hacks to both surprise, entice and scare me. It'S really hard work guys spend a lot of hours on tick tock, oh my god, so hard. My job is so hard. No, i'm super excited for the hair hacks that i found. I am excited for you to try them out and for you to. Let us know whether they are as good as they seem to be all right. So anna laura's living the wavy hair life and has been practicing her plopping skills and we don't want to mess with that. No, i worked very hard on diffusing these waves today, so we're going to not disrupt them and i'm basically just going to tell kaley what to do honestly. I love that, because i've been trying to learn how to make iced coffee. I made it way too strong and i feel like i'm about to shoot off into the atmosphere, so i will try and contain the categories, but i also had the same very extremely strong coffee that we did learn from tic the theme of our lives right now. It'S true, so let's go on our caffeinated hair hacky journey alrighty. So to start off our tic tac journey, all right, you ready for the first one. Yes, today we are faking it till. We make it because i'm going to show you two semi-difficult hairstyles, that you could fake and make them so much easier. Okay, the first one is a french braid which is like this. That looks pretty. This is the walmart version of a french braid. I'M going to show you how to do it on this side of my head. First step. Take a section of hair about this big you're, going to split it in two and cross the front piece over the back piece and grab it and let go of the front piece. Then you're going to grab some more hair and do the same thing. Huh back up between the front grab more hair twist it that's a twist. Let go should look like this and now you're gon na just take your hair and put it into three sections, adding this to one of the sections and then you're just gon na braid. As you normally would oh, okay and go all the way down, i totally left out a piece of hair, but we all know my life. Let'S pull this apart, oh yeah, i see that the shape is similar, so i'm really interested to see if it could pass as a french braid right yeah. She also doesn't look to the side right so, like okay criteria, we're gon na look for. First of all, does it look like a french braid yeah? Is it easier than a french braid? I understand that a lot of people have a hard time with french braids and sometimes they'll just come completely like. I can't do this hairstyle because i can't do a french braid, and so i can understand that this one doesn't have any actual french braiding to it. So i guess just assess the skill level required to do it first and then we'll just see if it can actually look anything like a french braid. Okay, all right parting, my hair down the back, i'm gon na clip one side out of the way i'll just watch from the side. Okay, take a section like this split it into two: you wrap it around drop the front piece, but then you pick up more hair and you wrap it around again. So you could also just pick up hair and add it to this section, but i'm gon na do what she said. I mean this is very easy. Oh you have a cute little piggy tail. It'S cute all right. She said to fluff it, which is good because it looks a little funny. Let me just do this because i have to be able to survive okay so so far, this is the one side. I i don't dislike it, i'm realizing i've really been missing out by not wearing my hair in braided pigtails. This is adorable. I don't know if i love how it looks from the front. I could probably do it better if i did it again but uh i don't know it was easy. It was fine. Let'S do a real french braid on this side, just to see how that looks. So i'm gon na pick up a similarly sized section and i'm gon na try to take similar sized sections. When i pick up new pieces, oh hair, i mean the whole dropping a piece of hair thing and then picking up more including that hair, it does make a fridge braid easier. Just like drop. It pick up a bunch of hair braid it over. Instead of trying to hold all three sections just hold the two go pick up a chunk. The hair that you're braiding with will be in the chunk and braid it over there's a nugget. Well, i am not immune to bumpies apparently got him on this one too. Okay, so where this is getting me is, i feel, like a french braid like it's claimed to fame is that it's pretty flush and then this version of it is giving me more dutch braid vibes if any kind of braid, because it's poking out, i mean okay, You'Re right, i think the 3dness of this one is different. Like nobody's going to look at this and go oh, you, french, braided your hair and looks like they don't know braids, which is fine right, but, like i'm, a braid purist, you guys know this. If anybody's gon na be a stickler, it's me that being said. This is cute, and i would wear this for my personal preference over this yeah, because i, like the volume right and even like the way, that switching to a three strand, braid kind of like makes this sit, yeah versus how this one sits. I agree with you. I don't think it's a french braid whatsoever. I don't think you're fooling anybody with that, but i think it's a very cool hairstyle. It'S a cool hairstyle. It is easier than a french braid. If you can do a three strand braid, you can definitely do this. Yeah, like i'm gon na, say i don't love the title of it, but the hairstyle itself really easy, really cute. I'M gon na give it a check. Mark yay, the first one worked alright on to hack number two: okay wait: i might have the best hair hack. We all know that the worst part about putting your hair into these clear elastics is taking them out because they rip the heck out of your hair. Well, i was tagged on instagram and other places that, if you use this lemon essential oil it'll take off these elastics. So i'm here to see if it's true, okay, so i'm gon na. Take this. I put all these rubber bands in my hair on purpose, which i'm not excited to get out and what you're supposed to do is you're supposed to put the essential oil. Oh did you see that? Oh, is this about to change my life, the coolest thing. I'Ve ever seen in my life go try this! Yes ma'am! We got you, i have for you lemon essential oil, all right girl. If this works, i'm stoked, i'm so excited. Do you know how many hairs i've sacrificed to clear elastics. It'S been a lot, especially in the hardest, braids videos i feel like i lost so many hairs to those dang elastic, i'm so sorry she did get the oil all over her hair. Do you think there's something we could do to make it like less all over the place yeah? I guess your only avenue from where she was was to shower for sure yeah. How can we do less? Hmm put it on a finger, maybe q-tip. Oh i like q-tip. This will be interesting to see how much lemon oil it takes. She looks like she dunked that thing she really did. Oh my gosh, your hair is fine there, oil. In that i can't feel any oh look. We we took the tick tock hack and we took it another level. Oh my gosh, i'm so excited about this nice all right, yeah. Let me try on the other side, that's insane! What is this? What is this science? You don't even have like that. Much! No! I'M not getting it am i on it. Yeah, it's definitely a thicker, it did it. It didn't! Oh nice, it's not! On my hair, i lost zero hair. Our whole second season of the hardest braids ever i'm like looking forward to it way more now. Also, all of you guys who have toddlers - oh my gosh or dance teachers. That told me that you use seam rippers great idea too seam rippers are smart, but wow life-changing go get you some lemon essential oil wow. Also, your child will smell pretty good. All right. Big check marks. Can i get a few check marks on that, i'm doing so good in this one wow. This is amazing. Now we're getting into a little hot tools. Oh yeah, i left my hair natural today. So what do i get to do to it? How to achieve voluminous hair with just a straightener straighten your hair section off? Oh that's fast twist the straightener as you pull it away from your face and let go whilst moving it down. Fluff up with your fingers and volume. I'Ve done similar ideas. I did a faux blowout with a straightener one time where i talked about, like bending the hair, just in the middle, to get a more full look and then get a more full look at the roots. Okay, that might work. Okay, that's so funny! I really looked at this and i was like there's no way this one works, i'm a sucker for, like so many tick tocks, but this one i was like hair straightener only makes my hair flat. So i was thinking that this one was gon na get busted. It'S the curve. Okay, we'll see all right heat protectant. This is my favorite 1-800 hold me from igk, it's a heat, protectant and hairspray, and has little shimmers in it to give your hair like a cosmetic shine, it's so good, but we don't want to give too much extra help to the hack. So i'm not gon na use that one and laura, which one am i gon na use, i'm looking. I'M just gon na get some water to counteract the effects of the coffee. You guys want a sticker shore of my water bottle. I'Ve got a potato. I'Ve got a sorry, i was napping which is uh very fair little teletize peace sign little, not pot sticker um. This says wonder you're so golden make today a good day. This is one of my favorites um. Chaos knows no sides, i don't know if you guys follow ben brainard on tiktok, but i love him. I did slightly over commit with all the puppies. What is going on. Are you giving them a sticker toy? I made too much coffee, oh my god, all righty! Here you go. You know you know i had to find her. Ah bb glow. We love bumble and bumble. We love our bb glow line, all right, i'm gon na start it here all right. So i put it in, i immediately rotate and pull and let it go. Oh that might be more than i needed to do. Let'S, let's do a little bit less say less say less wow. I think she's curving it away. Oh yeah yeah and then let's go as it's going out there, that's what it is whoa. This is working. I hope you guys are enjoying caffeinated kaylee's. Apparently, a one to two ratio on the coffee for cold brew is incorrect, but google told me it was right. I'M ready for the 90s, so yeah she is right. You definitely do have to go away from the face and not down, but it helps with the little. But oh, this is going to be volume. This is going to be volume and she did take it. The curve - and she just goes straight back with it - she doesn't over correct it forward. Okay, when you were just doing it just now, you, oh yeah. I was doing it like this forward, yeah all right, so i was doing it wrong. I got ta go straight back and curve a little bit and let it go, i mean, there's a little lift there. Let me just do the section next to it doing it my way where i take it forward and bend a little bit. I feel like it gets a little bit more lift i mean, there's lift there. I don't know that, there's more than there was before yeah i mean i like this little. Oh yeah, that's happening. That'S cute he's cute all right. Okay, so i could see how this would be helpful if you had like, if you really were going for that sleek straight all over situation, but you didn't want it to look flat at the roots. Oh yeah yeah, because when i straighten my hair completely, it just goes like down on my head, so this would be a nice touch at the end. To make it look more like a blown out, i could see that i mean yeah. That was a cute. Little touch up for sure. I don't know that it gets you like the volume, but i think you're right in a laura like if you fully like pinstripe your hair, but you want some lift, that's a good way to do it. Yeah, like the thing is, i i feel like she was advertising that this was a volume trick and i think it's more of like a take on a straight hairstyle like a root movement yeah, so yeah, it's like not as advertised but not bad, to try yeah That makes sense so yeah i like it uh. I don't think that this is like if you want big poofy volume, the trick for you, but i think it's good for a little bit of style and a little bit of movement, but because it didn't do the volume right, which is the hack. It was advertised to do. I guess i'm gon na give it. I would still say to try it just not as a hack to get more volume, necessarily how to keep your ponytail super high bend. A hairpin into this shape push the pin into your rubber band and you make high ponytail goals. Okay, let's find out my hair can almost really truly do a high ponytail. Now let me show you that's right. I didn't even think about that. You have like shorter hair. Hairpins are nice to have, but if you ever do buy the little like french hair pins, where it's a u-shape, you need the thick ones, they're, skinny ones and there's sick ones. The skinny ones are a joke. These ones. That are a little thicker. These are good. I haven't done a high ponytail in so long. Your ponytail is already so perky what the heck there's not much uh weight to it, because it's little oh, she, you really fooled me. Well, here's the yellow, like you, have to pull it down. It'S gon na fall down, so you just got ta go ahead and make it do the thing i'm gon na twist it a couple times and then i grab some hair from next to it. Pin up grab some hair from this side, pin up and um pin this little guy like it never even happened. Oh my gosh. Look how cute you are she's! So little all right! Well, she's, not super flat! So, let's see if we can get any perkier yeah. So we go like this get on focus and boop like this yeah, so it's gon na go right here in the back push it in. Oh, that's, nice and easy! You go over! Oh! I bet you could also bend this to like different shapes. I think that's perkier, i bet i could do it more hold on hold on i'm gon na change the bend just a little bit because of the shape of my hair, i'm going to make these like little arches. This is like a little wing. Let me be an all old school youtuber with the hand behind the product, so a little bit more like an iud, okay, yeah, that's definitely perkier yeah, because you look look how much you can see over my head now, yeah all right! I'M gon na give that a check mark. I think if you have really thick heavy hair, maybe double it up just for safety, but that feels yeah she's still there she didn't move at all. We love it all right. I almost feel like i want to put in a ponytail piece and see if that would still do just as good i kind of want to do it. Okay, let me see if i can find one real quick excuse me going into the hair closet, can't find my ponytail pieces right now, because we haven't unpacked them. How long ago, did we move? I'M gon na take my little friend out. I just bought some halo hair extensions, so i'm gon na see if i can wrap these around the base of the ponytail all right yeah. That kind of that looks pretty good. Actually, if i was to wrap that up, it would look decent yeah bet. You didn't know you could do that with a halo piece. There you go, i'm learning, i love finding new ways to use my hair all right. Let'S see if the little things can do anything with this because she's heavy so crazy yeah, i don't know if she can get much perkier but we'll try. I mean if we can get it like this that'd be pretty cool, making one more i'm making this one with the frenchie. You guys know. I love my frenchies, then i'm gon na put this guy with it. Just gon na find something to stick this into. Oh god, it's not gon na work, because it's got this whole lace thing in here. Oh here we go got it, i don't know. Is it any taller yeah? I think so. These things have disappeared into it. They'Re in there somewhere, oh yeah, no they're. Definitely holding it up, i'm gon na try to pull them up a little bit. Rearrange! Oh yeah. I mean that definitely did something. I don't know that this is the easiest bestest way to figure this out, but i tried, i think it would work on heavy hair. This is really heavy i'll give it a check mark my hair's already hurting okay, so you said for the next one: i need to uh, let my ponytail be a little messier. Yeah we're just gon na go like that and call it a day. Awesome. Okay, all right, this is our last one. All right here we go. Oh, it's janakin hairspray i'll go through. Oh, this is one of her signature tricks and i've never tried it. I think so, oh really, can you believe fun new hair and fly? I guess you could have your hair down if you wanted to, if she hasn't done that, but i think i wanted to see it like this. This is the true test i know. Jen does the whole like spoolie and gel thing right typically for the sleek yeah yeah, that's true! This would be more of like taming it, but not sleeking it right all right! Well, you have a blush brush and a hairspray yeah here, and here i feel like i should direct it at least a little bit: oh yeah, whoa, okay, okay, okay, okay, i'm gon na like slightly direct it wow wow, so it holds it up and it keeps Like a really natural, looking ponytail yeah, i'm gon na finish this side and then i'll show you what it looks like when i just use my hands, because it's not as cute. This is good for like an everyday moment, and this would be good for the little when you're wearing your hair down in the sprouts. It'S also be good if you wanted to leave this part down, but smooth this part back ooh all right. Let me compare it to like using your hand or something yeah, so i feel like this looks a lot like sleeker and kind of crunchier yeah on this side versus this side, and this was with me going a little bit hard yeah and also when you feel It this has a more like hairy, natural texture, whereas this feels a lot more healthy. I like it. I like that too. Okay, we try this on uh your hair down, i mean you, don't actually have too many. Let me get them generally going the same like it's not going to work. If you have one hair like this, and then all that, like you, have to get the hair going, the right dirt right - oh wow, yeah! So good! I really like that. Yeah me too. Let me try it on these little baby hairs. Oh my gosh, the stubborn babies i'm giving it a little twist so that it goes with the rest of the family. Oh she's, an artist wow. I don't want to do too much because i don't want to like yeah. I move my hair out. A lot. Don'T commit me to this part. That looks good though. Well, that's a win. Yeah wow look at whoa and you don't feel crunchy. It doesn't feel like you're, my gosh, it doesn't at all. I went a little hard with this, but that it looks tamed wow, i would say, that's a big old big check mark run out, get you an elf blush brush for three dollars: tame those baby hairs. So i mean that's all that i have it's so crazy. I thought there was gon na be a lot more busted. I guess i just showed some really good ones. Yeah. You did a good job, the ones that i thought were not gon na go well. Were the little bobby pin curvy one didn't really think that was gon na do much. I wasn't sure about this blush brush one, and i definitely thought that the the straightener one was gon na do better. Oh so i i didn't get what i expected at all, but i have a whole lot of new fun stuff in my arsenal. Yeah, that's fine! I'M so glad that so many of them work me too. I love a good hair hack. Yes and i love testing them so that you guys kind of know what does work, because i don't know about you, but i feel like i get scammed by tick tock constantly, not necessarily in the hair category, but i like bought a bottle score because i thought I was gon na start, making vases and stuff out of my wine bottles, and i full on cut my finger and like i have no wine bottles to show for it. Just a bunch of shattered glass. Also, there was that that trick about, like pouring boiling water into a candle to get rid of the wax and, like that really didn't work with like a soup of waxy water. There'S a lot of hacks we've tried that are not hair related that have fooled us. So we just want to make sure that you guys are not fooled on tick-tock. Yes, so i hope that you guys did enjoy this if you have any more requests for future videos leave them in the comments down below we'd love to hear, because it always gives us fun ideas. It first take oh, that was a decent high five that wasn't. This is like half the hand also. I had like a little sassy alter ego that came out. Oh, oh, my, the ponytail is doing things to her. I got ta go hydrate.

Kayley Melissa: I missed you all last week!! Thanks for being so supportive about me taking a week off! It's so important to listen to your body and take time for yourself ❤️ Love you all and hope you enjoy this video, we had so much fun making it!!

Dajana Darling: Don't feel obliged to upload every week or on a certain day. I'll watch your videos whenever the notification bell rings :D Also, I'm so excited to follow along to AnnaLaura's hair journey :)) Best regards from Berlin, Germany <3

Kalie W: Glad you guys used the Qtip with the lemon essential oil. It’s really not good for skin (especially undiluted and if you go out in the sun at all). Probably also not great to get excess amounts on hair either, it can also bleach hair if exposed to the sun.

abby yates: Where was that perky ponytail hack when I was in competitive cheer trying to do a posh pony without the hair piece?? Also I’d love if you brought back the “3 days of hair” videos where you went through 3 actual days of your hair and how you styled them. And fashion videos!! You’re clothing style is so cute

Kallie Judge: We need an Asian hair hacks. My hair is stiff and is on the heavier side. My roots are flat by day 2 and messy buns aren’t an easier option. I would love for you to do a video on this.

Hannah Marie: Anna Laura should experiment with only detangling in the shower. Personally, I get way more curls when I don't detangle once I'm done showering. Also the squish to condish method works very well for me, I would highly recommend trying it. Overall, it does take a good amount of trail and error to find what works best when first starting to wear your hair naturally wavy/curly.

Kennedy Figueroa: I love this video so much!!!! Can’t wait for more updates on her wavy hair journey!! Also I think that’s what the straightener one was suppose to be. I took the instructions as straighten your whole head then at the end pick our parts you want a little more volume too.

Kirsten Sowell: “Kaffeinated Kayley” should be a series lol

Ron Mallery: Essential oils are what are used to sent shampoo, conditioners, body washes, soaps, and lotions. They disovle the elastic because it's plastic based. It won't disovle the protein you hair is made of. And you can pick your scent. Lemon, peppermint, cupcakes, etc...

Holly JB: Sharing this with my sister for the oil hack. My niece has a VERY sensitive head (she has psoriatic arthritis) and hates having her hair done. Her hair is also very fine. Being able to get the elastics out without having to pull will be a lifesaver! Also, I bought some Frenchie pins, and a lot of the fuzzy cover has actually come off on most of them :(.

Donna Layne: I like to use my round brush when straightening my hair. I will run my straightener through and then immediately put that piece on my round brush and let it cool for a few seconds. Works great if you want straight hair and volume it’s the same look as a blowout without your hands having to get tired.

Julia Zackary: The whole dutch braid thing used to be really hard for me. It's now my favorite, but when I was younger I used to do a lace braid, because it was basically a half french braid and I could french braid. It was awesome and it totally looked like a dutch braid even though it was fake!

Rox: Another win for the sisters! I don't have a tiktok so i really like that you bring these hacks into this platform :D

Tayler Nickerson: I love you so much Kayley! Your positivity and kindness is so contagious and awesome!! Keep doing what you’re doing!!

hannahbear327: I love that hairpin hack since it doesn't put any pressure on your scalp! The older hack of pushing a bobby pin down into your hair tie (so it pointed downwards but hooked your hair tie) always hurt my head

Kailey Landis: The first one literally just changed my life, it works pretty well! I wanted to learn to french braid because i love braids but i've never been able to

Charlotte Hackett: I came up with that twist-to-braid method one day and I always get compliments on it. I'm quick with all types of braiding but love that this is only grabbing hair on one side so I don't have to section/have greater control on the final width without a mirror. Also my hair is super fine so love the volume and 2 wider strands vs 3 tiny sad ones with a dutch or other style. Could blend into a fishtail as well I suppose but I don't have enough hair to try it haha

Katie Evans: I love you guys and so glad you are back this week! I would love a video about how to moisturize the hair without weighing it down or causing oil build up! I’ve tried everything

Tiffany Carter: OMG, the tip about dropping a section of hair and picking it up with more hair during the first hack just changed my life! I've NEVER been able to do a french braid, I just couldn't juggle it, but I used that tip and was ACTUALLY about to french braid my hair a little bit!

Olivia L: I love this channel! I cut my hair to shoulder length a month ago and it used to be to my elbows. I haven't been able to find a cute hairstyle to do beside just normal curls or straight. Thanks for the such good videos! Love ya! And if you read all this hope you have a great day!

Olivia Zimmermann: I’ve been doing that twisted braid forever...I love it!!

Julia Zackary: Anna Laura: "Go get you some lemon essential oil. Also, your child will smell pretty good." Thanks Anna Laura for the advice.

Lauryn Nakamura: I think I might cry after seeing how well the lemon essential oil works I just might have to buy some now!

HilBG: re: putting boiling water in candles to get rid of the wax: you have to pour the boiling water in, let it sit until completely cool, and then you can just scoop out the wax because it has hardened and clumped together at the top :) I do it to literally every candle ever, but you really do have to wait until the water is cold before you can clean it out

Karena Bennett: I love watching your videos! I would love to see some hairstyles to keep hair back and out of your face like for exercising or going to the beach etc. ❤️

Kell Doe: I love doing French and Dutch braids on my hair. Before I had my daugther I liked to recreate vikingish hairstyles. Most rocked is 2 Dutch braids. Like you recreacted sorta in the first part of the video.

haleygirl55: Omg, the hair elastic hack!! I watched the video yesterday, bought some Lemon essential oil last night, tried it myself this morning and . Total game-changer for getting them out of my 2-year-old daughter's hair!!

Nutella: hi kayley ! i need a recommendation , back when your hair was long you used to wear a wig to demonstrate short hairstyless & it looks so natural & great quality , i'd love to know where it's from & if you have any tips for wig shopping ? thank you so much you're one of my all time favorite youtubers!

Sarah Szelong: I did the straightener hack on my side swept bangs back in the day! And I blow dried my hairline starting from my ears like that too! I loved the way it made my hair looked

nicky5078: The boiling water in the finished candle works great. You just have to let it cool for the wax to reharden at the top and it pops right out. I’ve done it so many times with finished bath and body works candles

Emily Baik: pls try swavy curly Courtney’s hair routine on Anna’s hair! She loves hair science just like you and I would love to see Anna’s hair without raking and brushing!

RayneWaterMelonFluff: So the first one I didn’t know was a hairstyle. I used to just mess around with it but I could never get the actual braid part to combine with the twist nicely so I gave up. Maybe I’ll give it another go haha. Thanks for the honest reviews on these hairstyles!

Morgan Bonadiman: FYI: this doesn’t work with black elastics, only clear.

Libby Yee: I decided to actually learn how to braid, and all thanks to you I have learned !

Laura Estrada: So the first hack you did is what I do for heartless curls! Literally the best for going out with wet hair and letting it down once dry, two hair styles in one night baby!

Ánh Nguyễn Ngọc: i love this! thank you so much for making this and you need to make more Kayley

Valeska Piano: I NEVER thought that essential oils could destroy these hairties

Tonya S: The elastics I bought for my daughter's hair came with an elastic cutter it's amazing.

Jenna Anderson: Yessss I love these sm especially the pony one!! I have really long and flat hair so this was a life saver for me thanks Kayley

Sydney Mitrecic: You guys both look great and love the wavy hair Anna Laura! This was fun but I'm still confused on how the lemon essential oil hack worked

Nicole Lavigne: I am SHOOK that the lemon essential oils thing worked AND worked off a qtip instead of dousing your hair in oil. The "faux french braid" may not fool anyone into thinking it's a french braid, but it looks like it might still check some of the boxes of a french braid in terms of how it integrates and grabs the hair instead of just pulling your hair back and starting a braid (layers that mean only half your hair is in the braid) and it has a similar effect, not the same, but similar enough to be an alternative choice to the french braids. My issue is I can do a half decent single centred french braid on myself but two of them (not centred and arms get tired). I also learned recently that though I fully know how to do a french braid my hands do not know what to do with themselves to french braid on someone else cause I am so used to how I scoop and hold the hair on myself and never do it on other people (plus for added challenge I was trying to brain very fine sleek hair that kept slipping around, which mine is not). When I straighten my hair I always straighten the crown of my head up with a little curve front to back *without* parting it. Like that trick it does give VVVvolume but makes it less flat at the root/part and gives a touch of lift/flow.

Kylie Sims: Pro tip, if you have oily hair; the clear elastics dissolve whether you you want them to or not. I can’t use them because I keep my hair oiled and they never last more than a few minutes.

Dana S: I do the first hairstyle all the time with damp hair. It creates pretty waves when taken out after it dries!

Marieke: I absolutely love Anna Laura's wavy hair <3

monica monsebais: Kayley Melissa taught me how to twist my hair and fake a french braid back in 2015. xD

Paint Pink: So, thank you for your channel. I have watched/been subscribed for years but I really needed you yesterday. My daughter (15) went in for a hair cut and highlights. Her hair was really long, she had worked to grow it out. I took her in while she told the hairdresser what she wanted. She wanted her cut trimmed. She needed at least a good two to four inches off. It had been six months since her last trim. So I leave her there. I went to get her back and the stylist cut about 13 inches off. I was in shock. The stylist told her that her ends were too dead and "gross". Why the heck didn't she call me? Who does that? My daughter was devastated. DEVASTATED. Sobbing. When we got home I told her about your videos and that you cut your hair. That you have cute styles for shorter hair. Her hair is almost exactly like yours, except with a darker base hair color. Between watching videos and copious compliments from her friends she is finally ok. Just ok though. :-( I think the stylist was out of line but regardless you can't reattach hair, she'll just have to live with it. I think I have learned not to trust hairdressers with super short hair. :-(

kyoszk: I’m obsessed with her videos! She literally inspires me with my channel

Christina S: You can use most oils to take away the elastics, I found that out when I put on coconut oil, it degrades the plastic

ellimusicqueen: The faked french braid helped me to learn a real one. It is perfect to teach your hands to add strands.

Avery McDowell: “Hope you are enjoying caffeinated Kayley”....yes, yes we are

Mark Amsinger: The first tik tok: I totally left out a piece of hair. Kayley: MY LIFE Me: I AGREE

Erin McCleary: I think the braid hack works better on dark hair that lacks dimension in color. When I put a French braid in my black hair, you can’t see the details at all so you wouldn’t know the different on my hair. Where your hair has more dimension to it, the difference is way more noticeable.

Maja Åström: Love Kayley high on caffeine Also NEED to try the lemon essential oil one!!!

Vica Tóth: I did the first hairstyle a lot as a twisted hairstyle, but I did the twist al the way. It's good because looks good and easy to do.

Brittany: Anything tips for SUPER thick hair would be appreciated! A lot of styles seemed aimed at girls with thin-medium hair, and it's just a completely different ball game when you are trying to bun/braid/etc with hair that's an inch or so thicker.

spring sweet tart: You don't need essential oil in order to break the elastics. Any regular oil will do.

Connie H: I love the chaos has no sided sticker so much!! I look forward to those videos each week they are hilarious

Jessica Boone: I’ve been straightening my hair like homegirl there for ever!! If I didn’t it’d be sooo flat. Mostly my pieces in the front is where I focus but ya it’s helpful if you don’t want flat hair after you straighten.

itswoozles: my trick for straight hair with a little volume is to overdirect in the opposite direction while straightening to get a little volume. no need to do a little curve though that might be easier for some people but i have bad joints so twisting is a no

Amanda Remon: You have to let your hair cool in the position you want it in order to set it. Same goes with curls. Can't straighten back then immediately pull it forward

Frankie White: Eeeek I love your tik tok hair hack videos! I'm so here for it *Love* your content girl

Kaitlin Faulkner: Anna Laura, how do you refresh your waves each day? I've been trying to figure that out, because it looks fantastic on day one for me but not so great when I wake up on day two, also what do you do with it when you sleep?? I love your videos!

FriendofHobo: I did the first hairstyle all the time when I was little, and I knew how to French braid. I just would do twist into a braid for fun.

Jaime Brooke30: I love the video. Please film a part two. The braid is going to become my new favorite braid.

hammyschubbycheeks: I actually do the first hack all the time and I love it, because 1) I can’t French braid and 2 it looks very very similar to a French braid

Briana Morgan: I want to see Anna Laura's hair routine! We have the same texture!

Bella Ordaz: Wait... I didn’t know that literally anyone else in the world did that straightener on the roots thing. This might be tmi and gross but lowk I love it on day 3/4 hair when it’s DIRTY and greasy cuz it makes it appear less gross lol

Danielle JoHanna: I would love it if you did hairstyles for food service worker. My hair has been in a ponytail for 10 months.

Smaugette: I used that French braid hack a few years ago and it did work but it didn't stay in place very well. I suppose a few pins might help.

amy: When the best YouTuber is back!!! ❤ we missed you

SusanIvanova2257: Hey Kayley, if you need some new iced coffee tricks I urge you to check out James Hoffman's video on doing Japanese iced coffee. Essentially it's the same as doing a pour over coffee except you pour it on ice. It's super tasty and doesn't require any crazy equipment, just a filter!

Amelia Black: Comment on the first hack - I have seen and done and liked a hack on a French fishbone braid that reminds me of that. French braid the top, then switch to a fishbone braid at the bottom. It transitions well, holds well, and saves your arms.

Martina Skalova: And that's why essential oils don't belong anywhere near skin!

Maggie Marfilius: I love caffeine Kayley and Anna Laura! What about summer camp hairstyles?? Easy, quick and cute hairstyles for summer camps or vacations! Love ya Kayley!

BAShipper01: unrelated to hair, the candle wax boiling water hack does work. you just have to be patient and let it sit until the wax cools and solidifies on the top of the water. I use this one all the time.

Rachel Stirling: Ummm....Anna Laura's natural hair is saying "Blake Lively who?"

meowzer3: ohh i loved this so much!!! i learned so much!!! part 2 please!!!! (and 3,4,5.... )

Cillian OConnell: The essential oil trick may work with any essential oil. I just tried it with peppermint essential oil, as that’s what I have on hand, and it worked.

Elsa Kasapoglou: I have been doing the "trick" of the first tik tok for some years now when I am in a hurry, instead of dutch braids. I think it looks a tiny bit like a dutch braid, but not at all as a french braid.

MaJenta DiMauro: i always use the end of a foiling comb to take out little elastics and i never lose hair but like lemon oil just kinda seems more boujie

Adryanna Peguero: omg I tried the elastic and lemon essential oil and it worked I'm so shocked

AndreaRenata Gomez: The amount of times I rewind Kayley saying "potato" on the sticker tour is unhealthy. 9:18

Roberta Dyck: To clean your candles warm the outside with a hairdryer and wipe away melted wax with paper towel!

Anita Thiessen: I'm so excited to try the lemon essential oil on my toddler! (Now I just have to get some essential oils)

Lara: Do more TikTok hacks, not just specifically for hair

Valerie Comeau: I tried the lemon essential oil on my daughter when we remove her clear elastics....no more screaming! You are a god send

Amanda: I have a toddler and can’t wait to use the elastic hairband essential oil hack! Also, random high five hack. When you high five someone, if you look at their elbow when you high five them- you won’t miss. Look at each other’s elbows. Try it! It’s weird but works! Lol

Barbara Pinna: Instead of using a brush, try with a toothbrush with some hair spray for the baby hair. The result is way more sleek than with the brush you used in this video

Haiku Hiaku: You can also use a wrapping paper slitter on clear elastics!

Caitlyn Lima: When you did the high pony, you look like Kelsea Ballerini ❤️

Kabree Bates: You guys should make a vlog channel! That way we can see all of your failed tictoks.

Cheshire Cat: I really felt AL's "I move my hair a lot, don't commit me to this part!"

JoAnna Wheaton: I've got a "This Might Be Vodka" sticker on my sticker covered water bottle. Spoiler alert: it's only water :(

Rebecca Jankowski: My hair is a little bit shorter than Anna Laura’s, but a little bit curlier. I do pigtail twists as a protective style to help keep my curl extra days. It’s definitely been helpful on days where I don’t have time to do a full wash, but the curls need a bit of a reset.

Carolina Campos: lemon essential oil works because it destroys the plastic molecules. It works great for removing the goop left over from labels or other sticky residue

jlammetje: The brush+hairspray is a really old trick, but it used to be with a (clean) toothbrush, which is even cheaper

Vanessa Boil Musumeci: I’ve been doing the faux french braid since I was 12 because french braiding always took to much time.

Katlynn Stalheim: I use a curling wand to break the elastics. This is cool because you don’t have to heat something up!

Randi Lynn Mullins: I mean this in the best way, your laugh is like a child’s, it’s so cute. Like idk how to explain it but I love it lol

Valentine Gueny: I just love Anna Laura’s hair!!! ❤️
