Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, so today's video is serving you natural, hair, realness, I'm showing you guys how I style my naturally wavy hair and all the products I use and all of it. If you guys are new to my channel, please feel free to subscribe. I put out two videos a week, Mondays and Wednesdays and occasionally a bonus video Friday. So if you don't want to do so, make sure you subscribe to my channel, I feel like there are so many hair tutorials for people who have curlier than hair than me or people who have straighter hair than me. So I wanted to do a video on my hair texture. It'S pretty longest time. I had no idea how to do my hair, no ideal whatsoever, and I just kind of like would brush my hair on the shower, and I thought my hair was naturally like way. Straighter than it is because I didn't know how to achieve the optimum natural wave that I have, but I had finally finally finally gotten the hang of it and I wanted to share it with you guys. So the first thing that I do is obviously shower. My shower everyday, but I wash my hair every two to three days depending on like, what's going to one, I use dry, shampoo, a loss. I love the teeth, dry, shampoo, it's my favorite and yeah. I use dry shampoo, a lot when you're in the shower. I don't use any kind of special shampoo or conditioner. You definitely could I don't. The only thing I like using once or twice a month is a clarifying shampoo. I really like the red kin clarifying shampoo. I used it today and I just feel like it helps to get rid of any excess product or like products filled up, because, especially when you have wavy or curly, hair products builds up wave your hair down, and it just makes it like not you. So I like doing that about once or twice a month. I always use a mask in the shower. I like the Aussie 3 minute miracle, or lately I've been using this other one. I don't even know the name of it is method good. Once I get out of the shower is when all of the magic begins, so I usually get out of the shower on my hair is in wet a little low bun. Why are you barking and I just like to kind of dry, my hair with a towel? I don't like putting it up in the towel, because it's bad boy I put like scrunch it out and then once the hair is about 15 minutes drive just the last area that it is. I like to go in with my product. Okay, so I'm like halfway done with my makeup, but my hair is at the perfect dryness to start putting in my product, so I do not want to waste any time. The first part that I like to use is this Shea Moisture, coconut and viscous curl in style milk. This is a vine through people with thick and curly hair, but if your hair is not thick and curly, if it's more like finish and wavy like mine, it still works. So I just like to about this much in my entire head, really not that much. My hair gets weighed down so easily, so I have to be careful, so I'm just going to scrunch this product - and I hope I said this before, but I like to scrunch all of my products. Then I really feel like it helps with texture. So I'm just doing that on one side, I'm gon na do it on the other side, so just a little bit about this product. This is a coconut oil-based product and I love coconut oil for my hair. I just feel like it really helps to moisture and keep my hair and nice like curls, instead of being like really frizzy, my hair gets weighed down that very very easily. I have finer hair so when I use things like mousses or gels, my hair can just kind of get like crunchy and almost flatter and like just like sticks to the sides of my head, and it's really not cute. So if you have that similar problem with like a lot of curl defining products, I highly suggest trying out some sort of hair milk or hair cream that is supposed to enhance curls, because it's a lot more moisturizing and lighten waist. I just feel like my hair is able to stay bouncy and curly a lot easier, and I like it. I like it a little what I'm just going to go ahead and let the top half of my hair completely well, not completely almost all the way dry. Before I go in with my next product, I'm going to be using Moroccan oil. Now you can use a Moroccan oil, you can use argan oil, you can use coconut oil. Like I said about five million times, I have fine hair and my hair gets way down really easily by oils, and I find I'm dropping it. I find that this was the lightest oil I've ever used, and I just feel like my hair, my hair likes it. So I took about a pea-sized. I should have showed you. What I forgot didn't want a pea-sized amount and I'm just going to scrunch that in my hair, like I do everything else and you can see the top line, my hair gets frizzy. I think it's because it's nice and damaged, but what I will do with that is I'll, just take whatever is left over on my hand and kind of Pat it down, so that I'm combating frizz but still enhancing of the curl and that stuff just makes like Such a difference, I don't know why, but it really really does and now I'm just going to go ahead and let it dry all the way. If I was rushing, I might diffuse it. But honestly I, like my hair better when it don't diffuse it. If you don't know what a diffuser and it's just like a little catchment for your blow-dryer, that is good. If you clearly here, so you can use a diffuser if you're short on time, but I'm just going to let mine air dry girl. So who knows when I'll be back, it could be an hour where it could be like a half an hour. So since we last saw each other, I have been through some things. Let me tell you: I was shaking my sriracha bottle to try to you, know, get the product inside the food too soft even and it's sprayed all over my robe and all over my hair, you guys so it sprayed like right down here. So this is a little wet and like not true to what it looks like when it's dry. So please don't mind that. But this is basically what my hair looks like when it is dry now the top part is a little bit wet still, so it will get like a little bit fluffier and a little bit more voluminous once it's dried completely, but literally it's going to get dark Outside completely dry, sometimes, if I'm like, really feeling it or this top part, my hair is just not looking cute, I'm going with my nume one-inch curling iron, and I will just kind of give myself a little leap a little something usually, this top part is way. Frizzy, or that is today today like kind of put itself in check, so what I'll do with those pieces when they're too frizzy is I'll, just curl them away from my face, and I take really skinny sections like this much hair and I'll just curl it around The barrel and that will give me like a little bit more volume and texture, just two pieces that didn't work, but today everything is working out pretty good, so I'm just going to leave it. How it is, I will show you guys what it looks like all over my head and then okay. So this is what my hair looks like up close. That is what my hair looks like when it's completely dried all natural with all these products. I haven't put a little bit of heat on it at all and if I did, it would probably be a little bit more voluminous, but I can just pull dry shampoo in at the end to make it even fluffier, because I, like fluffy hair. This is the end result. It'S just like a wavy sort of curly situation, some days, it's curly or some days, it's straighter to keep your hair nice. When you go to sleep, here's what you do you put it in, what's called a pineapple, so you just take your hair and you're just going to want to scrunch it and pile it on top of your head. So usually I just like literally pile it. On top of my head and then you can use a hair tie, you can use a jaw flip, but just pile it up. There go to sleep and the next morning your curls will be definitely a little bit less cute, but way better than if you just like roll around in bed and like let your hair just be wild. Thank you guys so much for watching this video. I hope you try it out and let me know what works for you if you have a similar hair texture to mine, because I'm always interested in finding new products - and I will see you my next video bye - Oh

Jade Smith: My hair is exactly like yours!!! I spent years straightening my hair because i never knew how nice it could look when properly cared for.. I'm 23 now and just figuring out what products work best for my hair. so happy to slow down on the heat damage. Videos like this really help :)

olivia z: your hair is just like mine except my roots are more straight and i really needed this because i struggle with volume and keeping my delicate waves/curls intact throughout the day and overnight, so i will definitely be trying these products out, thanks!!

Lithostoic: Thanks for this! My hair is in between straight and wavy and it's such a pain in the ass. Maybe if I start treating it like wavy hair it'll behave better!

Madison Stone: Omg I have weird wavy/straight/curly hair texture that I never know how to style I'll definitely try this thanks!

ness_ness87: soooooo glad i found this.. I've looked up so many "natural wavy hair routines" but most of them were too complicated using a lot of products, heat and harsh chemicals. your hair story is very similar to mine and your routine is so simple. definitely trying out this method. cant wait to buy/try that hair milk. Great video

Sage Srna: thank the lord someone with my hair type has made a video like this, in almost every other wavy or curly hair video the person has like super thick super curly or uniformly wavy beautiful hair so thank you for making one for others with kind of like awkwardly thin/wavy/curly hair <3 and i hope i can get mine to look like yours

lilly clouse: Thank you SO MUCH for this video! my hair is so extremely wavy, that it looks almost curly, but it wouldn't be considered curly. I can never follow curly hair or straight hair routines, so this is very helpful! My hair is about the same waviness as yours, Appreciate this video!

Nineveh Barriga: I like you and your hair. Your routine feels so much simpler and easier to execute so it's really helpful, thank you

Christie J: This is so helpful!! Thank you!♡

i can: Your literally my hair twin but my hair is black. What you said actually makes sense because whenever I put product in my hair gets weighed down.

Dog LoverXOX: I'm so glad I found this video when I look for wAvy hair routines or products I can't just choose the same ones as curly haired girls because usually I don't need a heavy strength product etc

Rebecca Engel: I can really relate to hair being weighed down, as I also have fine wavy/curly hair and struggle to find the right products that won't weigh it down. It's encouraging to see someone with my hair type, and it helps me stop comparing my hair to girls with super coil-y hair! One question: How do you detangle your hair? Before showering, in the shower, with a brush, wide-toothed comb or your fingers?

A R: Hello! Thanks for this video, informative and I needed a laugh!! I noticed my wavy hair becomes really defined after it's been partially wet by the rain or a spray bottle with water, compared to my hair being just soaked out of the shower.

Ellen Lopez: I felt like you were directing it at me when curl potential was mentioned. Given I'm only fourteen, I have never really experimented enough to know how curly my hair can become. I previously brushed my hair after showering. The only conclusion I could come to for my hair being so damn fluffy and only slightly textured is that I had been brushing out any natural waves and clumps my hair formed into. I haven't finished the video but I feel like I'm going to be inspired to fix my waves.

Michelle Marie: good someone with wavy hair and not just curly

annmarie: This helped a lot!! I have no idea what to do with my hair it’s always frizzy and has no definition what so ever the front pieces are like pin straight, the side is really wavy, and the back is curly

Madeleine H: I'm so glad I found this video. I always had really soft hair with a tiny bit of wave to it but I couldn't figure out what to do with it so I'd just straighten it. Then I had a major surgery and lost a lot of hair, and when it was growing back it grew back sooooo wavy, like some days it makes ringlets, it's wild. BUT I still had no idea how to make it look nice naturally. I hate putting heat on my hair so I usually let it air dry, then put it up in a bun because it looks so meh. I think my worst habit that I need to work on breaking is not brushing it out. I'm so used to my old straight hair days when brushing it was integral to making sure it looked nice that I can't help but feel like I need to brush it when it dries, but obviously that kicks any cute wave it was attempting out immediately. I'm excited to start trying this kind of routine, I want to love my natural hair.

Annika Block: Wow! I am just like you! I would brush my hair out of the shower and I thought it was straight with a little wave! Until I was 14 and just walked out of the shower and saw some waves in my hair and decided to treat it like it was wavy from there in out! I love it now!

Luna: Your hair is gorgeous girl! I'm so happy I found this video because just today I was thinking like, "damn I hate how my hair looks! I wish I could find the right way to style my frizzy, lifeless waves!". The thing is I have fine, oily, blonde hair so I'm so scared to put any product on it because I dont want to weigh it down, but since you also have fine hair I'm hoping the products you mentioned will also work for me!

Kate Haines: Finally some days what I’ve been saying for years! My hair is exactly like yours! I thought I had straight hair forever!!!

Basic Stuff: Thank you! I've always seen either curly or straight hair routines! JUST SUBBED

Grace Anastasia: Loved watching your hair routine babe!!

Brittany Meyer: This vid has me saying "YAS" every 20 seconds <3

may: You hair looks so soft and beautiful!

Mariajosé Vigo: I literally have your type of her but on you looks so much better this video really helped thank you

Nicolette Devitt: Ik I’m late but I finally realized I need to stop brushing my hair so much because it makes it really poofy but I thought I just had to live with it so I’m excited to try this

methodmaya: Thank you! Finally someone who has the same hair type as me! did you brush your hair after washing? Or just use your fingers? Mine goes so frizzy an puffy but I don’t know how to that!

mcsimx: Your hairs are amazing!! I'm jealous

Ziggy Z: I just recently subbed and I kept going back to this video since i'm also trying to find the best routine for my wavy hair. Do you shampoo and condition every time you wash it?

Kmmc2011: Thanks for the tips abt the curling iron and dry shampoo. Could you show us what to do when your urls have dried but it's flat on top. That's always my issue

PSYCHTUBE: your hair is like exactly like mine, but longer. It also took me years to figure out how to make it look good. I shampoo with deva curl no poo right now (though I've found that shampoo really doesn't matter for me) then I condition with a hair mask for curly hair. I get out of the shower with sopping wet hair and scrunch it a little. Then I add a lot of gel to my hands and work it through my hair while scrunching. Next I plop my hair in a t shirt and leave it for about 10 minutes then blow dry with a diffuser.

SOPHIE: THAAAANKS FOR DOING THIS

Alayna: girl yesss this was so helpful

MG: Lovely!♡

Alina :D: Id love having my hair like yours

Lucy Grayson: My hair would be so much easier to handle the day after washing if I was able to plop it and sleep on it, but its slightly too short for it to get on top of my head and I can't sleep if I feel something on my head when I sleep.

icymellymel: will you do a second day curly hair video? or do you already have one?

Margs Marie: GIRL my hair was such a similar texture when it was long and gels and mousses made it crunchy and tbh kinda gross.. I'm growing my hair out now and 100% gonna buy that hair milk and hope for the best! you da bomb for the recommendation!!

Cristiana Pinho: YOUR HAIR IS EXACLY LIKE MINE. AND I WASH MY HAIR EVERY 3 DAYS. I'm here because now I have a LOB * long bob* and my hair is even more frizzy than before and I don't know what to do ..

Jess Elle: Your hair is gorgeous

Azahely Carrizales: How often do you add the curl milk? and what do you do to refresh your curls the next day?

Pelsin Dmg: Hello do you use the curl style milk yet?? Does it works yet? I did read some reviews that people say that the product isn’t good like it was before! What do you think . Please answer

Jackie Guerrero1315: Starts at 2:29

WGames girl: i finally found!! omg , i listen another country video (and i could understand 80% of it but ok) to know how to styling my hair, looks like there's no youtube hair girls with this hair, thank u a lot!

Vivian Salazar: Quick tip~ use a t-shirt for scrunching your hair instead of a towel because towels cause friction to hair so then it makes your hair frizzy

cupcakexlindsay: What batiste dry shampoo do you use? Whenever I've tried batiste their is a white residue on my dark hair :/

MakeupsOut: love it

savi ydv: I'm from India and i have wavy hair and not that much thick hair.. should I use shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie or shea moisture coconut and hibiscus curl & style milk? Please reply..

kelly andersen: We have the SAME EXACT HAIR OMG

Jess: i tried the curl and style milk and the TINIEST amount made my hair so greasy and weighed down. it's definetly more for ethnic hair curls. i found that out in a hurry

Dalia Jaimes: Have you tried putting your products in your hair when it's soaking wet? I do this and I notice my hair gets way wavier almost curly and I have 2b hair.

Dania Hamdan: Love your hair I have a question, do you brush your hair?

Bella Chance: She reminds me of Drew Barrymore.

Amy Muir: Your hair is very similar to mine. Have you heard of the curly girl method? There is a book called The Curly Girl Handbook and you should join the fb group "Curly Girl Experiment, No or low shampoo, silicone and sulfate free". It includes avoiding products with sulfates and silicones to keep your naturally curly hair healthy. You should try "squish to condish" which is a great technique to encourage curl formation.

Caitlyn Kreklewich: you're stunning

casualviewer: OMG you look like Kate Hudson!!

ShopaholicAddict Laura: So pretty I want wavy curly hair lol my hair is naturally straight :( so boring lol any idea how to get naturally wavy curly to last longer I just don't want 1 day hairstyle lol new subscriber here :)

Ariana Watts: my hair is wavy and EXTREMELY thick which makes it 10x worse

Sharanjot Soora: I really liked the way how you talk ❤️loved your video

luckyDancer100: Do you brush your hair while wet?
