Hello love welcome back to my channel okay, so some of you may have noticed that I reapplied at this video, and that was because the previous video had a glitch in the beginning, and I saw that I was like why just why I got a glitch at This time I'm trying to teach people, but it's okay, because I wasn't going to let a glitch set me back. I decided to do the intro over again and now the video is back up and I'm really excited to share with you all. So, first of all, just want to say: welcome to all that are new to my channel and please subscribe if you are into beauty fashion, art and fun, and just all types of randomness, because I'm going to have a lot of things to show on this channel. But today I will be teaching you all how to draw hair from scratch in depth. So the video is a little bit long, but I promise you, I'm sure, it'll help you and I hope it will help you and we'll be going over some techniques of how to draw hair and the ways that I simplify here and then you'll see that drawing Hair is not as hard as it seems, so I really hope that you guys enjoy this video and yeah. Let'S get started okay guys so before we start, I'm going to have a little mini haul, and these are just a few of my art supplies that I got from Michael's recently. I got some erasers. This is generals magic, black erasers, which are really good erasers. I'M pretty sure they how about use these or when even remember, I'm pretty sure I had, though cuz I mean I did bottom right. Okay and the next I have the copic multiliner set, which are really good. I really like these and I decided to get sepia. Doesn'T wanted to try different color and I have tried that view before, but I wanted to you know a little something different. You know I'm saying, and maybe if I did some ink drawings, you know match it up with the color of this book cuz. You know yeah, you know saying that a little matchy-matchy I don't know so yeah I got that then I got me some just regular mechanical pencils that I love just make regular mechanical pencils. You know - and this is by the brand art mind - I don't say the size on here - I usually prefer 0.5 LED, but I think this is good enough. I haven't tried them alia, but I will be trying them out today. So, yes, I'm excited for that, and then I got the sketch markers by artist log, which I heard were new, and these were $ 20. There was another I was going to get the uh. What is that brand fabric, a style? How do I not know that? I mean I'm always talking about Barbour guys go and they had their little markers too, but that was like 20 25 or something or $ 27. So I'm like that. I don't know, but I thought this was just more reasonable and I like the fact that it was thicker too so yeah I got B's and we said, use those and my sketchbooks, of course like this, is so exciting, like I love new sketchbooks by getting a New sketchbook is just so awesome. This actually had a little little tie in it, but I didn't want the times. That'S just too much like that's just so much you don't having to open up the Rope and everything like nobody got time for that. So there's a little sketchbook and and then I got this regular Strathmore sketch sketch book that I will be. This is what we'll be doing tutorial and today - and I got this really awesome sketchbook with the globe on it like this, is so freakin awesome. Like I love this is dope. I love this so much it give me like Harry Potter, vibes a little bit or you know that Smithsonian type vibe - I don't know it's just I love it so dope. Well, there's anything on the back forget again: okay, oh that's by RT gloss Wow! Well, there you go if you want to find the sketchbook, it's my artist on dope, okay, cool! So yo are you guys that was just a little mini art hall that I wanted to show you guys before we started this video and yeah? Let'S get started! My love - I really like this really guys I this is so cute: okay, anyways, I'm so distracted, but yeah, okay. So in today's tutorial of how to draw hair, what we're going to be focusing on it's, basically the technique of how to draw hair more than like different hairstyles and self-will travel to different videos on so stay tuned. For those because we will definitely be going over different hairstyles, but today we are going to be focusing on techniques of drawing hair, and this will just give you the basic, the basic and basically the base for you know being able to draw any kind of hair. You want, like you, know the important parts of it. You know what I'm saying just like, there's like the basics of drawing a face or whatever and whatnot. So this is the reference pic that we are using today and I'm using a reference pic because I feel, like you know you should, you know, be able to know how to approach real life references, and you know this is definitely going to help you like especially, Has a lot of people draw from reference, so this is going to be able to help you to look at a reference photo and to look at it in the artistic perspective of it. So you can be able to replicate this on paper. So, let's get started. My love okay, so I did not draw the face. Yes, I was going to do that, but I would like you know what I think I'm going to just wait and draw the face with you guys, so you all can see. Basically, you know the processes like how I go about you know drawing here. So you know, so we can't, because you know we draw unreal here. So I'm going to show you guys, you know from scratch. So let's do this? Okay, so I'm going to zoom in a little bit of actually on we're just going to zoom it about that. Much now, I'm gon na zoom out and like no show you got to represent I'm going along okay. So I'm going to go ahead and start off with a circle. I'M really excited for this tutorial. You all you know. All of you have been a lot of. You have been asking like a lot of. You have been asking for this and thank you all for my Instagram family, for responding to my post of when I asked you guys what um Tuerto should do next. So, yes, this is what we're doing so. Basically, after doing what I you know do when I started drawing with a Jenelle all the basics for that um yeah, I'm going to usually usually I do not draw the safe like out sometimes like I'll, draw the face out in the air, but because, like there's, Like this little part in here, I don't really feel the need to draw the face. So I'm going to do that anyway. Just so you guys. Can you not see everything somewhere go ahead and just draw her face out for you all and there you have it? Okay, I'm not going to draw eyes - and everything is we're focusing London here today and I want all the attention to go to the hair okay. So when you are drawing hair, my love remember the song. Remember the skull is there and that this is not where the hair is gon na lie like this right here. This is not how you draw hair like you not draw hair flat on the skull like that is, I know like don't do that. Why don't I just make a little star like that? Is enough, so don't make the hair directly on the surface on the scroll. That'S one thing you do not want to do when drawing hair. You want to make sure that the hair is at least an inch or two or an inch and a half away from the skull or even more than that, and as you see in this picture, it's like all the way like up there. So when you're drawing hair, you want to make sure that you have that room so when we're drawing so what we're drawing here, you want to think of everything as shapes. Just like I mentioned in my high drop a reference photo everything it's like just picture and imagine everything in shape. So this is how we can break this down, don't focus on the little strands, a little line like all of that will come after we get the base down okay. So I'm going to go ahead and focus on this part right here. So I like to actually I'm going to actually start with little pompadour part, not pompadour. I don't know you call this. I don't know a little arch part or whatever cowlick whatever, and I'm going to just go ahead and kind of make the outline shape for that right there, and then you know, look at this. You see this just here. I can make outline I'm gon na. Do it right now, basically, just outlining this shape that I see you see this. This is we're going to make this one shape. One big shape right here. You can even break it down into another shape right here. Another shape right here. These are all shapes. You see and really I wanted this to be in black and white, so you guys could see the values all know what my printer was doing today, but this is going to have to work so all right, let's continue going on with the shape here now. Usually, I wouldn't do it this way, but I'm trying to make make a way. That'S easy for you all. So I really hope that this can help you also I'm going to continue on creating that shape of the hair that I see, and it doesn't have to be exactly the same. It'S all about the flow of how my hair is going. You know and be very like fluid with it like it doesn't have to be perfect lines. It doesn't have to be the exact same so see we have one big shape now. One big shape just like that, and then here's another shape right over here go ahead and make that and make sure it's not flat on her head about right. There is good and I'd like to exaggerate mine a little bit when I'm doing my portraits, because I do like to serve eye realistic style anyway, so we're cartooning, keeping it simple, simple shapes. I want to go ahead and draw her neck nekkid and because those are strands is going to leave that like that, but um okay. So this is what we have so far: there's a most little bit, okay and now, for all of this, don't worry about all that craziness going on there, because we're going to simplify this we're going to simplify all of that. So I'm going to just show you guys my way of simplifying this part of my organs of the hair, because, like how much hair is a little bit more like harder to explain, but basically I'm just. This is how I go about go about drawing it and then I'm looking at that shape right there and here doesn't have to be exact. And yes, it looks messy when we first start out, but don't worry. This is just the base the base for the hair. So then we got like this like that. I'M basically looking at how the hair is flowing, so just really pay attention to the way that it flows and pay attention to those big chunks as you're just taking sections. You want to focus on section of the hair. You know and because this is like that, I'm going to do it like this and I'm just going to bring it over here like this. You want to do it like this and then just call from there, I'm just going to figure it out from there. Basically, by me putting these little shapes and or whatnot we're not going to draw our hand, that's right. There we're just kind of leave that part out and we're just gon na we're going to do this thing like this: okay, okay, so there we have it. We have these little shapes here and now we're going to focus on these darker parts, so we're going to focus on those parts, but basically next I'm just going to be showing you all how I approached the details and everything right here. Normally, when the hair is over here near the neck, it will be darker and then repeat something like this. So when you're drawing here, you strokes, strokes like this, just like this practice, the flick of the wrist flick of the wrist. That'S what you want to practice! That'S like this is how I go about drawing here and I use long quick strokes. You don't want to do this, that's not what you want. You want to make sure that your lines are going from six to see. You see how the lines go from six to things, because I'm using a long, quick strokes, that's what you want and pay attention to where the lines are darker and where they're lighter. Like that's what you really want to do so like this, you kind of see where I'm going, I'm heading in true this basically hair is a lot more harder for me to explain, but it's definitely just something you just have to practice every day, I'm going to Do a lot more tutorials all hair, because here is a very in-depth type thing, but it's not as hard as it seems you all room using you just have to practice. So so here is you see the dark spot? Go ahead, adjust just shade that in say that in pretty lightly, not darkly, don't forget darkly, not too dark, because you want to start off light before anything and then gradually make things darker so and not. Everything has to be the same. Just focus on the flow of it how this hair is flowing, that's what we want to focus on how the hair is flowing. You don't think so. That is what I was paying attention to, how the hair is flowing. I'M not trying to make this look exactly the same are the movies. I mean the recording, stop the movie. Oh I'm going to go ahead and just continue to sketch and you guys and just observe, because I can't really explain much more but like houses going about it and you to watch it's a process. You know you just have to be very patient with it, but practice. The flicking motion that is so important want to practice is motion. You want to practice this sorry, I'm getting off camera, but you want to practice that so we're going to continue building. This is all about building hair is all about building right here so right here, I'm going to go ahead and make some darker lines here, even though it's not dark here. We'Re not focusing on making this picture look exactly like the drawing we just want to. You know get the flow of hair. We want to get me, you know the illusion of hair there we go because drawing is an illusion, so you trying to make it look like the real thing. So um, just you know continuing to do the flicking motion which is so important. Then we go ahead and create another section I'll go ahead and create a section like this right there, I'm just connected to that one. Actually, I don't really like that. So I'm going to separate that because they're, not you know that can exist, I'm going to just let that fade out like that, and you know make sure that your strokes and the thin to thickness ratio is different practice and practice with your thin to thickness. That is so important like how big your lines and helping they get. That is really the key to you know, making an illusion of something with value. You know you really want to pay attention to how thick and thin your lines are and practicing loosening up your hand and the weight of your hands or you're able to get too sick to thinness type thing, and you know darkening these lines and making them lighter. What I'm explaining this okay? So that's! Basically what I'm doing with the air and basically just observing and experimenting as I go along too, and if I don't like something I'll, just erase it and we're just going with the flow literally just going with the flow. Make sure you pay attention to these curb they arms the shape of the outside shape of the hair and make sure your lines are following those curves, because if they're not then it'll. Look weird like this. That doesn't look right that that's not going along with the natural flow of the hair. So if your hair is going like this make sure, and what is it going like that, you show me and usually when it's by the face I like to make it a little darker over here, just show that you know give that illusion of volume of depth. Really because the hair is in front of the face right here, so really I'm going to make this actually come in front of the face a little bit more. So I can really show, even though you can tell you, can tell us going in front of the face, but we're going to exaggerate that a little bit okay and if you want um, if you do, have trouble with your you know, making sure. So I this is sketch paper, so it is going to get smudge it up a little bit because it's sketch paper well any papers, don't get too much about really. What am I talking about, but on this sketch paper usually gets as much of a lot fine, but I'm going to get a little piece of paper, so I can under my man. So what? Oh? I don't remember saying oh yeah, if you have trouble with your thickness like with the weight of your hand like you, have trouble like you have a heavy hand or - and you have you know, shovel like making your lines alight, then I suggest you use an HB Pencil 2h pencil use a light pencil for the lighter and then go ahead and switch to your B pencils. So you can get a darker darker stroke. If you have, you know problems with a heavy hands, so that's a little tip for you. If you need help with the darkness and lightness of your lines, just go ahead and switch up pencils, but if you're just using one pencil this practice with that the heaviness of how you put pressure on the Baker, like your pressure practice, your pressure, okay, so yeah. This is a long process, but I really want to show you guys, so you can kind of get the flow of how things go, get the flow. How things go I didn't even trying to rhyme but yeah. I kind of just I want to get today in one section and I just kind of like move from section to section and I just yeah go with the flow and then there's a shock for me. Oh my gosh, you guys, I don't understand why my fall. Okay and then you know you can erase, if you think it's too much, you know, that's the beauty of an eraser go back and make lines with your eraser I'm going to go into that in a minute. Basically, I really love drawing here so much fun. Very satisfying to see it come together and make sure you pay attention to the values of the hair. This feature doesn't have much darkness in it, but you know, as you can see here, there's some darkness here. You know Beauvoir, I'm going to show you guys what what I mean so like see this curve right here, for example, if there was like a curve like into the curve right here, so I'm going to just start up right there and keep it keep this space Open for highlight you see that you see how it gives that illusion of highlight there. Basically, is your that cool right and make sure you make some lines like a little darker kicking someone's light go back in and erase it you can eat it too. Much. Add more lines: is this about just erasing and adding, so it's really like adding and subtracting that's what that's how hair is to me like drawing here and adding and subtracting, and it's so much fun to get it, and you just take your time with it. No rush - and you see that does not look like that right there, but I just went along with how I felt you know. I wanted it to look, you know, but I'm gon na. I just did this for an example really, but I will go along with more how that one looks just because that isn't what how that hair goes right there, so I'm going to just erase that part I'll show you guys how I would draw it. Hair just takes a lot of practice, so be patient. You know, Rome was not built in aight, so just be patient practice use all types of references. References are such a beautiful thing, go ahead and follow me on my Pinterest. If you do not, I have a lot of references there or just go ahead and make your own pinchers, for which I suggest you do because Pinterest is so helpful. It gives me inspiration and I get most of my references from interests so much fun. People go ahead and light in that area of so we can show that the depth of the back part of this hair right here and because this is all lighter in the floor, I'm gon na go ahead and make that lighter anyways about basically, I'm just showing You guys techniques not how to draw this. We'Re not I'm not to show you how to draw this exactly I'm just really giving the techniques and how you would all go about drawing from reference if you're not trying to get it exactly, but because you really do not have to get it exactly like. That'S the fun part of heart light. You can modify it and it's a beautiful thing, so just keep going, keep making strokes from different different pressure, and I go back over here work on it um this light good for you all. I hope this is good lighting and then who are following this card? Okay, so you see there's a car that goes this way and encourage that goes that way. Now, when there's something like this, what you want to do you want to make sure as you're going inward, it does straighten up a little bit, but, as you straighten up within this area, they're going in this direction over here and when you're getting in the middle Go ahead and start making your curve a little bit straighter and then going towards this direction like this see what I did there. So if it's going this way, you go along with this curve and when you're going towards the middle, just go ahead and start straightening. That line that curves up, so it will be like this and just a little disclaimer you guys, I am no professional, I'm getting there. I cannot wait till unprofessional and I just am I'm still practicing these. We have a lot to learn myself and I just really want to help others, and I really hope that this tutorial can help you all, and I have so much more to teach you all and I'm really excited. So that's what that would look like right there and then you can keep this space for the highlight. If you want, you can add, so you don't have to keep it completely. White just add like light lines and gives you that beautiful, realistic, hair look so make sure it's all about following these curves, you know just follow the curves when you're making the line it's just about. Following always, look like see that it's kind of like the recycle, recycle bin. So what what are you talking about us? Being, I don't even know but like yeah, just follow the curve and like as you go on, you can make your old like just make up. Curves and just go along with it, it'll look right. You know like this actually looks kind of awkward right there, but hey you know we can fix that. We can fix that if we don't want it to go like that, we can fix it. It'S all about playing with everything cuz. You know I honestly just play with it until I like what I see and it's not about making it picture-perfect like the reference, because that's where many people mess up and try to make. It look exactly like that, unless you want to, because you might want to do that so yeah, you see why I'm gon na kind of going with that and just see right here kind of got a little a little choppy right there and it ended up going Into like this kind of shape like that, which is more for like braids like how braids start like that, and then they go from like that, and of course I'll do a tutorial on how to draw braids. Don'T worry, we'll do other different hairstyles it'll just be in segments and I'm gon na try to make this a little wider there. But you see it's just all about only back fixing stuff that you don't think it doesn't look like just erasing. You know you can get an even smaller eraser, so you can get those nice detailed, strokes, go ahead and like something like this over here. So it's not just like a big piece like of the glob, so I just real get it broken up a little bit Bobby another piece: it's just going over in this direction. Here such a such a beautiful fun thing to draw it's fun, you know it's fun to experiment and you know to try anything so I'm having a lot of fun right now. You know just modifying the reference I mean the drawing from the reference just modifying it to how I would go about it and sorry, I'm doing so much amazing, but that's what it is: subtracting, adding and subtracting and patient. You must have patience now, go ahead and draw this section over here and when you're drawing hair make sure you do make different directions. You know the oldest type of hair to strengthen to the story, but how to do this hair stuff and much straight me and kind of girls at the same time, but I'm going to do without make this curve C go in this direction. So don't go in the same direction. Of that I mean I could, but this is it more of a dynamic look. I guess so you can. You know, be more realistic too you. This is so much fun. I'M having a blast Ernestine see how our kind of ads is added a little extra extra line that little extra little something right there just to give that little extra realistic touch to it. So much fun like oh, my gosh, I'm having so much fun a little story, and I hope you guys love it too, because I'm having so much fun. Let me know what kind of hairstyles you guys want to see me. Do I'm going to do braids, I'm going to do curly, hair, afro, hair straight hair, everything you know thing and I'm super super duper exciting, because with this channel, which is what I have fun all types of videos, art, videos, fashion, videos, every kind of video that You would want, because I'm a very random person, as you guys should know already so yeah, I'm just you know. You know taking my time going back, adding more details. You know just it's just such a fun process, so you see how I'm just lightly. You know stroking, so I can get that gradient. You know that greeting effect, how goes dark to light? That'S such a beautiful thing to me and then I'm going to give you guys more of an example of I mean by adding it subtracting even odd to show you get them all. Let me show you and just see how, like I'm racing, that kind of light. It gave it some old to it. You know gave that loop that won't want to have that loop in those days. I, like that word. I just how that strain kind of flows into this down here hair is an art itself like and so much fun. How in-depth you go here, I'm going to go ahead kind of erase here so give his best by pulling it to the front when I, when I erase it when you should, when you're subtracting you pull right, so subtracting holds it to the front and adding pulls It to the back I know that's like so opposite is what I actually just made that quick little quick little technique up right now, adding to the back subtracting to the side. Okay, sorry guys it's pretty things stops recording that is so annoying every time I see the movie and stop recording like that literally just makes me so sad like why, but what I was saying was I made that just made that little technique up just now, I'll Just you know: subtracting close to the front, adding to the back, which is so backwards, but it makes total sense when it comes to art. You see how that this isn't like this is like in the front, and this is in the back, because the value change and then I will not make this too dark right here up here in the front of the hair. I want to give her some baby hair, even though she doesn't have baby cuz. You know baby is on fleek. You know I love baby airs and we're going to give her busy. Here too, you know there isn't any in the photo. I love baby hairs, baby hairs on my feet. Really, yes, I love baby hairs. Okay, so when you're like working in the front of the hair, you can add like a little thicker line and a line to really show that was coming out of the scalp up. Here to really show the different sections of hair, then don't look too much at the reference. Don'T try to make everything exactly the same. We want to start, you know, making muscle memory and they in your own way and how you go about making here, but still understanding the realistic concept of it. You know my gosh, I was probably not in the frame the whole time. So sorry, this is what I was doing today. He is a picker, some thicker lines here to show the different sections. This is all a process and so much fun. You know or wise to collide like this. You don't want that. Make sure that doesn't happen. All the hairs call their own path, whether they're following the path of a one section of the year or another, adding and subtracting, and I have anything using this the whole time, so the paper has been getting so much. So forgive me for that totally forgot. It is currently raining and it is beautiful. I love the sound of rain. You guys rain is so beautiful, like oh, my gosh, like the best and the most perfect sleeping weather, with a little bit of lights on there like I love it, but I mostly like you want to just rain hard. You know too many dark lines going on up here. We don't want too much summary, because you know this is more and not every part of the hair has to have strands. You know, as you notice, in this picture. You know I put a lot more strands, but I kind of wanted to show you that I go about you know adding because of hair like you know how to really draw that with detailed hair, and this you see you can like leave parts a lot of The lines output, but it's up to you how much you want to simplify it. For me, this is how I was all about drawing with a because I love details with hair like here. Is this spot site? Sometimes I want to simplify it. Sometimes I want to make it real, detailed and I just get really addicted to making these strokes I'm going to turn it. This way, you know make sure like you can even turn your paper. It is easier for you to draw in a certain way. You know try turning your paper around if that makes it easier for you to go about for, like you know how you make these strokes you're, usually going in a downward motion, so it'll be a little bit harder if you're like trying to go up like or Something like that, is it easier for you to do it that way and turn it around and then you know, go and do the strokes from this way. You fill me draw all this pencil, I'm screwing, so it's easier for you to do like that and do it from a different position. You know look at it in a different perspective, so we okay. So, let's continue, I'm so excited for this tutorial, like I'm so happy that I'm doing this, for you guys cuz, I love you all and I love to spread love by teaching others art. You know, I believe you know my gave me this talent to be able to inspire others and to teach others too. Also, while you know at the same time spreading a love and I'm so happy that you know I was born, it was like to do this. Not everything like I said, has to have so many strings, but just call you around with it. You know cuz in white, like it's a weight like that. You know it's all about just playing around. You know seeing if you want, you know that many strands or whatnot you know go ahead and draw like, maybe just like a little line in this right here. You just whipping something very subtle right there, there's so much fun. Oh my gosh, and you know sometimes when there is hair like the light, for example. Maybe there is a strand that kind of goes across the hair and it'll be like, like yeah, see what I'm saying like. That is absolutely beautiful, like how you can just add in here like that, like just a piece of hair, that's just excited to just blow into the other side of it. Just like that super simple, you see them saying, adding and subtracting, and in this cases it's okay when, like the hair collides, what is like that you know so I kind of like how that looks cute we're just playing with it. You know experimenting, and I'm cloud even really fun to draw Mike even smaller, smaller little pieces of hair, that extra detail that just stands out a lot unlike when it comes to this, like how I chose you when it's like that, like it looks even better like When you, for example, you kind of cross make across each other, like this, like from when you put a line, that's coming from the bottom, and a line is coming from the top and kind of keeping that little section in the middle of those two. It looks really really cool, like you see like this, alternating all side, the quitting stopped again, but you see how it's like alternating and how my aligned hair is like going into each other, like that. That is super super super cute to me actually like that. A lot better than just doing it kind of like that, and it gives that realistic, feel to it too so much fun right, hello here I was like if you see areas that just are like a little bit too much too dark or whatever's at you know, So I mean subtract go ahead. This is shot look at that you see how much of a difference that makes we subtract so much fun. It is thundering out here. You guys, I think it smells below, but I'm loving how this is coming out. Like I didn't know, I would have this much fun drawing here now. I see like a lot of people who just draw hair all the time like I see why this is so much fun, I'm having a very splendid time right now, drawing this now, you see this whole time. I'Ve just been subtracting and adding making sure I'm using those using my pressure, a different pressure following the flow of the hairline. It'S so much fun guys. Oh, my gosh, and it's very relaxing like hair, is so more likely to do something like if you need to relax like like. I love orchids, and I guess I guess right now. I guess now I'm going to say, like my favorite thing, to draw like just a journalist like here and I like like, I would draw eyes all the time like eyes were my favorite thing to do and now, like I'm, loving, just love. Drawing here I mean, like I've always loved drawing here, but like that, like we're going to be like a part of my little, do very that changes drawing like you see how, like okay, I'm going to go to the side. Show you guys about how links I'm going off to the side and just kind of going like this and then like up like that and then in like this and I'm alternating, and it's giving me this really beautiful effect. If you don't like it, continue to subtract and add until you get it right until you see something that you like, you see the pain, it's not the best example of what I'm trying to explain yeah. This is real. This really isn't the best example of what I'm trying fine. But if you look right here, you see how it's going like in and like it's kind of like almost crossing paths with each other in that very nice way. Like that's what I mean, I really love that okay, so I'm going to go ahead and turn this way and just continue dressed drawing so much fun, see that look at this highlight pop. It is hopping okay, kind of like they're kind of McChesney shape. That'S what I'm talking about that is giving me life when I found this picture out like this. Is the perfect weapons pictures in the tutorial? Oh, my gosh, my powers is about to go out like no. We cannot have stopped wearing this tutorial. What the power go out, I guess adding and subtracting so much fine like I can do this all day like I honestly could do this all day. What'S calling me, okay, isn't this fun, I'm having fun you guys like I'm right now, I'm just like in the zone like I'm mesmerized with it. Okay and adding and subtracting is just so much fun and not the mass of that I mean I'd like adding subtracting art you son, but man look. Actually. I really did like math without only one. I, like all we like math when I do good in it and that's what I'm just like yes, but if I'm having a struggle, no forgiveness but anyway, yes, I love, adding and subtracting a lot of fun. You don't have to do all of that. You can just do the strokes, but if you want that extra s boo lose some adding and subtracting a promise you, you will not be disappointed aunty, but I'm having just way too much fun right now, you guys, like honestly, I am like having a blast right Now now, okay guys so my card was full and I don't remember the last thing I was saying, but anyway yeah back to business, I'm gon na just say zoomed out, since I think you guys get the idea right. It'S just all about patience when it comes to this patient and confident with your stroke, you have to have confidence in your shoes, you know and understanding values and you'll get the idea what you practice more, you observe more and you know, understand your lights and your Darks everything will just be like a piece of cake, but you can do anything that you set your Monti's. Do all things: aggression shrinking you, as I say all the time, so white oak leaf. Okay, me percolating, always like Spanish beauties out there, boys and girls Nino's anemia. I am definitely trying to learn Spanish guys. I really want to learn it, and hopefully I will be from winning it on day. I would love to speak Finnish and be able to talk to you know, must manage viewers. Okay, well, yeah! You guys hear it it's beautiful! It'S fun, you shouldn't be afraid of it. It just it's a process. You know, like you, may look at this like Percy and be like wow. That looks so hard. But if you just start with the basic, you know start with those basic shapes, basic geometry and then focus on the details later and then you'll start to see that wow. This really is not that honored. You just have to practice. You know it's all about practice and it is raining beautifully hard like oh, my gosh, I'm ready to just sing Annette. I actually woke up from my nap because I had to take my dog out to the groomers today. So I'm actually glad that I woke up because I have energy now and it took a good at least about an hour nap, and I was ready and fueled up to do this video. So I'm so happy that I'm doing this, for you guys it's just fun. Like I think, I'm just like going into all these details now, but I just really hope you guys. You know you guys get the idea of these. You know at least right now. I know you guys probably get the idea already them explained it already so much. You know adding and subtracting just you know going back in and looking at things you don't like it or if you want to add in something with and by add I don't mean darken it up, and I mean like adding in strands or whatever so yeah. This is super fun, he'll present Wow fun that it is super fun, easy and you'll want to do it all. The time trust me like this is addicting like here is addicting that it's so addicting. Oh my gosh. Oh yes, yes, hunty! Oh, yes, ability! I love! When I'm subtracting, because like I could just become together, like yes honey, I see working who are working today, you are giving you life get off. Look at. That is just back. That is fabulous, and I know you know we, my workout, like that we whole thing, but I like this, like the air, it's fine light, you can do it honey you go make. Some beautiful views of our y'all are going to do a great job. All the boys and girls watching this men and women everyone, you can do it, I believe in you and then you'll soon see that you can do it too, once you practice follow along with these techniques. I really hope this helped you guys. It'S just really cool. You know like how you know I used to watch a bunch of art tutorials on YouTube and now I'm making it like it's just a dream come true, so you know be able to turn what I love into something until career. You know just being able to do that. Just makes me so happy and so thankful blessed and grateful, and I think God every day for the blessing day given me, because I couldn't do it without God. On my side, like for real for real autopsying, Lord called the credit goes to his and yes honey. Look at that! Oh Papa! I'M going to go ahead, even though she doesn't have a lot / hammer just add a little bit more, but we'll just go along with how I perceive it yes, hop in sorry, if it's out of the frame, sometimes guys, I really need to pay attention to That make sure that I'm looking at that, while it's raining super hard, you guys, I really hope the lights I mean the power doesn't go. I could put a fish and I need the light walking see while there's so more than be adding over here too Wow. It is super windy outside. Oh my gosh. I have to show you on it like this is like a queen, not super big. I mean it's probably more windy outside okay, it's not super windy. All right! I love in the rain. No I'm loving it. I'M loving it practice the drawing sorry. I had just show you that, oh, oh, oh, punching, camera motion, yeah. Okay, where was I okay yeah, so Adam two more over here. Try to make sure this is sharp. Okay, cool yeah, okay, but it doesn't have to look perfect. You see how it's kind of messy and, as I start doesn't have to look perfect when you start, you know it supplies the process and the results are beautiful. As you see like you know, just take your time and just continue to add and subtract, you will get what you want. Okay, but all. I think that you guys understand and basically get the techniques right now. So I'm going to go ahead and finish this and put this in timeline, and I really hope that this video helps you guys and let me know if you like this video and if you try these techniques out. Please tag me on instagram at Ross's sheet and yeah. Let'S get into the time-lapse. I love you guys, you you, okay, you guys so um. Basically, this is how I draw here and I could do so much more with a buddy. I decide to stop here. I could just keep it on for hours with this, but I think this is enough for you guys to get the point of it. In also was a last touch that I like to add, is I like to add like little loose strands like just really lightly, and that really just kind of it's like the icing on top. It really gives you that realistic. Look. We just add those oh strands in those loose light strands. You see that I'm just you know taking light strokes not doing too many, but I'm using very light pressure with my pencil and just adding stray hairs, because stray hairs are really important when it comes to life. If you are realistic, look with my hair too and yeah like as it's just like the icing on top for that, but anyways, you guys hope you all enjoyed this video and I hope that this could help you drawing hair and yeah. You guys. I had a lot of fun doing this honestly, I'm really happy that I finally got the chance to make this video for you all like this was so much fun for me and I hope it helps to all, and I hope that hair is a little bit Easier for you guys or a lot easier for you guys to do, and I will have a lot more tutorials coming soon. Thank you all. So much for watching, and I can't wait for more tutorials like how exciting just so exciting you guys know who's like a little close up for like details and everything, but I had a lot of fun doing this. Normally I don't like. Sometimes I don't do this much detail like all the time but like for this video, I thought you guys can really see how to get in there. You know get in there and make that hair on sweet honey. I don't think I get that hair, oh sweet, so yeah you guys. I hope you all enjoyed this video. Thank you all so much for watching and I will see you guys next time, so peace, love and happiness and God bless

Christina Lorre': Hello loves! So I had to re-upload the video due to malfunctions but here it is I finally did the highly requested hair tutorial! I know that this video is super long, but you don't have to watch it in one sitting! I want you all to think of this as a class so it's long because I really want to help you all learn and I really do hope it helps! Drawing is a process and I wanted to keep it real by showing you every little part of it! Love you all and God bless! ♡

Bobbie Calvin: Who else hates it when they see someone that can draw so good then try it and it end up looking like a toddler did it

Iqra Ahmad: Christina: A lot of supplies Me: A pencil. Great video!

Max Stehle: Thank you so much for the tutorial! Also, it's weirdly comforting to know that it takes someone with much more experience this long to make it come out how it did and that it's totally normal to do a lot of revision and experimentation. I'm very new at trying to draw and tend to get impatient with myself. Also, loved the thunder in the background <3

autumn basso: Im 11 this vid really inspired me and changed the way i draw for the better. My mom walked in and said "wow your getting good"

salt: I’m glad I found your channel! It makes it easier to draw realistic! Amazing, thank you Christina ❤️❤️

swimming in the stars: I highly doubt you'll see this, but it's worth a shot. You should make more videos like this! I was drawing with you, and it felt really nice like I was talking to a friend, while you rambled about drawing. ur mom: This helped me soooo much! Thank you *subscribes*

Roasted Ketchup: Hey! Thank you so much for the tutorial! I didn’t have to watch the whole thing. I was 3 minutes or so into the video and saw the picture. So I screenshot the picture and went to drawing using the picture and not the tutorial! It ended up turning out really good. So I really am improving! I’m only 10 and have already mastered realistic eyes and lips! So I did very good drawing by reference! Thank you!

Rosey McCulley: If I wasn't already a subscriber to your channel, this video certainly would have made me subscribe. How satisfying this video is is scary. The soft music, your voice coupled with the sound of the rain and thunder is magical! And I just love how excited you are about this and how genuine you sound. Hands down the best hair video on YouTube, and I've watched A LOT! I'm sad I found you so late! Please come back and make more videos! I know life happens, but you have a gift for teaching! One thing that you should put into thought is that maybe you shouldn't put your signature in the beginning. Because if someone were to your credit card or something, then they could purchase stuff, and move money over to another back account since your signature is right there. I'm not saying that will happen, but it did catch my eye and I didn't want it to happen to you.
