How to cut curly hair in layers for more volume at home.
Today I will show you how I trim my curly hair in 5 minutes! It might even take less if you have short or straight hair! This is the easiest and safest way i have found to trim my hair and you won't lose any length so the hair can look grow longer.
I will be cutting my hair dry and wet
Be careful though, Curly hair springs back so it looks A LOT shorter when it dries! Disclaimer: I am NOT a professional, so please bear that in mind if you choose to follow this video.

Hi welcome back to my channel. My name is Phoebe in this video. I'M going to show you how I'm gon na cut my hair to create layers. This is not a tutorial. This is just simply to show you how I cut my hair. The first area that I will be cutting will be my bangs and, as you can see, I have cut a lot of hair from here, because I want my layers to be very short at the top. I want to create a lot of volume. As I continue to cut the hair, I will be bringing the hair forward to cut it. An angle I like to come here when the hair is dry, so I can see how much I'm cutting because for curly hair you want to see where the hair is going to land once it's right. So what better way to cut it when the hair is dry, if you want to cut your hair due to the hair damage, the areas that you need to cut are those areas of the hair that are thinner, as you can see on this piece of hair Right here you see, the healthy hair will look thicker and then at the bottom. It will look, thinner and thinner. That'S the area that you want to cut, but I also like to cut it when is wet so after I finish cutting it, I will wash my hair and trim to make sure that everything is even, and I trimming a lot just a little bit, and I Also trimmed the end of my bottom section of the hair, and that section I will cut very little of it because I want to retain the length of my hair.
