Get ahead of being late by curling your hair at night using your favorite method (i.e. braids, soft curlers, wrapping around something fabric like a headband, scarf, leggings, tights, etc.). Then simply wake up, remove the curling method of choice, brush if you want to, and run out the door when you're ready. I wouldn't recommend small, individual curlers for this, as it would take a while to get out, and defeats the purpose of being quick, but it's up to preferences. The headband method has saved me so much time in the morning, and if I felt like it I could just fix up any loose pieces, pin it in place, and head out with it in! May not work for everyone, but it's the best way for me, because how my hair dries is how it stays till it gets wet again.

It's not that it's super long (although it is long enough to come down a little past my butt) it's just SO THICK and curly/frizzy. People tell me all the time I look like Merida from Brave (I wish I did, that character is great!) probably just because they don't have anything else to compare it to. I have tried to put my hair up in these and MAAANY other styles before and failed miserably. It either looks ridiculous, doesn't stay in or is extremely painful. For example, if I were to just "wrap my hair around my finger once or twice" (it's too thick to do it once but so long I'd need to wrap it 3 times) and then just "clip it up" it would be the biggest heaviest mass of hair on the back of my head not only would it look a bit silly, a regular clip like the one this girl used would not be big enough to secure it to my head, and if I got a bigger clip and succeeded in securing it, it would feel SO heavy and give me an instant headache. I would immediately want to take it out. I love my hair but I sometimes get jealous of girls who can do certain hairstyles successfully.
