Easy Hairstyles For Shoulder Length Hair

Today, i'm going to be sharing with you, four easy hairstyles that you can do for short to shoulder length hair. So, as you know, i cut my hair over a year ago, and now i don't think you can really classify it as short hair anymore. I think it definitely falls under the shoulder length to medium length, hair category - it's just sitting just a little past my shoulders, but i thought now that my hair's gone to this length. I should do a hair, styling video, just sharing you some easy hairstyles that you can do for shoulder length, hair and even with shorter length hair. You can do these hairstyles. So let's just get into this video of these four easy hairstyles for short to shoulder length. Hair so for hairstyle number one. What you're going to do is you're going to divide your hair into two sections, and so i've already done that, because i have a center part and what you're going to do is you're, going to take a section of hair ending at around the ear leaving the Bottom hairs and what you're going to do is you're just going to gather it upwards and then you're going to take like a little clear, elastic like this and you're, basically just going to tie this into a little ponytail and then we're going to do the same Thing on the other side, so just grabbing a section of hair ending at the ear about this, much gather it upwards and then take a little elastic and just tie it. So there you go, you've got that and if your hair was layered like that, had some shorter layers up at the top. This would probably look really good like this, because, unlike my hair, which is not layered, the ponytail is just falling down. But if your hair was layered having just the little ponytails up at the top like this short would actually look really good, but it doesn't look good with my hair length, because these bits are just way too long for that. So, instead, what we're going to do is we're going to take the ponytails and i'm just going to twist them around like this and obviously the more hair you have the bigger this will look. It'S just gon na form. A little bun like this, so just gon na take some bobby pins to secure it down. So i'll do the same on the other side, just twisting the hair and then take bobby pins and secure our buns down, and you may need quite a few bobby pins. Depending on how stubborn your hair is and there you go once you've done, that you've got this hairstyle, i don't really know what you call them. Yes, maybe it's a little girl hairstyle, but who cares whether you're, older or you're, not even a girl? This hairstyle is perfectly fine, no matter what age or gender you are so there you go, that is it for hairstyle number one so for hairstyle number, two. What you're going to do is you're going to take a section from the front of your hair. This hairstyle would work better if you didn't have like a fringe, because it would make it very hard, but it still is achievable, you're going to take this front section and then a tiny little section here this much and then what you're going to do is just Gather it we're basically going to be doing the same thing that we did with the last hairstyle, except that we're only using one section of hair and then, depending on how thick your hair is, it would probably be better to use a regular hair type rather than Those rubber elastic ones. So i'm going to take that and we're just going to secure this ponytail with the hair tie and if you do have a fringe. You'Ll, probably just want to pin it back and then maybe grab a bigger section from the sides so secured it like this and then what we're going to do is we're just going to twist it around like we did with the first hairstyle and then we're just Going to bobby pin it down and then you've got that little bun there, but you can clearly see my line from my center part. We just want to try and have some hair covering that at least so yeah. That'S! Basically, this hairstyle, you just got a little bun at the top to just get your hair out of your face, but you still want to show off your locks. If you know what i mean, so that is it for hairstyle number, two. So for hairstyle number three again, it would be ideal if you didn't have like a short fringe, but you can probably make it work. If you add some of your hair from the side, but basically what you're gon na do is you're going to take this front section and just flip the hair back as these are the only hairs that we're working with. So what you're going to do is make a center part. If you don't already have one and you're just going to take one section - and you know sort of twist it like this and just flip it over like this, and so we're just going to secure that with some bobby pins and then with that other section. You'Re going to do the same thing again, just twisting it back a little bit, but instead flipping it over the other way like a cross and then we're just going to take some bobby pins to secure that, and then that's basically, this hairstyle. I know it's quite hard to see because of how dark my hair is. This would look a lot better if you had lighter hair, but this can still work and even if it doesn't look that good, it's still a pretty practical way to get the hair out of your face just with a bit more style. So that is it for hairstyle number three and so for hairstyle number, four, this final hairstyle, what you're gon na do is you're gon na take all of your hair and you're just gon na gather it like this into a ponytail and then you're going to take A hair tie and you're just going to secure the ponytail. So it's just like this and then what you're going to do is you're going to take the ponytail, and you want to twist it around like this until it forms a bun so similar to the twisting that we did in the first two hairstyles. And then you know just take some bobby pins to secure it, and if you have thick hair like me, you might need quite a few to really help secure this bun. So, as you can see, we've made a bun. This is a perfect way to make a bun if your hair isn't quite at that stage where you can just put it in a bun without everything falling out. My hair is long enough to do that, but i thought i'll just show you anyway for this fourth hairstyle, so that is it for these four easy hairstyles that you can do for short to shoulder length hair.
