You'Re sitting on the couch watching TV and your hair is really dry. You keep procrastinating over and over. Maybe I'll do my hair tomorrow, maybe next week. No do it right now, you're in quarantine. You spend all day at home anyhow my channel and today, I'm sure I'll leave an Amazon link for all the products that I'm using in my description, so you can order them and start defining your curls ASAP, alright, so boom I'm starting on a freshly washed head. I wash my hair in four sections because it's just easier that way and it's easier to detangle that way so for this video, I'm gon na show you guys the last section that I was doing. But what you see me doing here is what I do for all my sections with the wide toothed comb. I focus on detangling the ends of my hair. You see it. The ends are detangled and to get that hair out of the way, I'm just gon na. Add a clip just to hold it back. First things: first after I wash my hair, I have to part an oil, my scalp, because a dry itchy, flaky scalp, is not cute, so I use jojoba oil or I use Cantu tea tree with jojoba oil. After every part, I add a second oil, so I use the Shea Moisture strength and restore hair serum or I use the wild growth oil. So I continue to part and oil that whole section of hair. I normally hold my head upside down for this next part, but I'm just massaging my scalp, but just to simulate growth. Then I take the wild growth oil put a couple of drops in my hand and just run it through the section of hair just to stretch out the hair and just to elongate it okay. So I know I just wash my hair but after sprayed with water, you need a sprayers with water too, because for this next part you need it to be wet. With the little can there's nothing. You can't do copyright that, because, with this leave-in conditioner, I use the Cantu argan oil leave-in conditioner and I just use a little bit because honestly, I feel like leave-in conditioners flake. I haven't seen a leave-in conditioner that doesn't really flake with this. So I just use a little and there's no need to use a lot. So here I just realized. I had a pimple, that's kind of embarrassing, but it's okay. We still move this curl enhancing smoothie right here this right here. I'Ve been looking for a curl cream that actually works. I found too, but right now, I'm gon na be using the Shea Moisture one do not use a lot. A detangling brush is the first secret. You need a detangling brush. If you want to define your curls, you can't use a comb. You can't use a bristle brush, you have to have to have to use a detangling brush and to top it all off. This is what brings those products together? The clear one doesn't work, the one with the flax seed, black, castor oil doesn't work, the gold one doesn't work, the pink one doesn't work, it has to be the green one if you have thick hair like it. Just has to be when I first found out about this. I was like no there's no way, I'm putting gel on my hair that I just washed and no, but let me tell you, let me tell you got no, let me show you guys, I don't put the gel all the way to my roots, only because, like If I do that, it's gon na get really like messy, so, as you can see, it's focused mainly on the end part hair and that secret brush. I'M telling you about look at that look at that. It will just scrunch right up. This is why you don't want to put too much product in it, because you don't want it to turn white, but if it does, I'm gon na show you how to take that out. If it turns white, you want to grab the section of hair, put it in between your hands and you're gon na pull it tight, but not too tight, but tight enough that the products are gon na squeeze through your fingers. I didn't really have to do it here, because my hair was fine, but I just wanted to show you guys what to do after you finished brushing and taking out all the excess product out. Your hair you're gon na take a little gel on your fingers and you're gon na go over each curl clusters, so the hair is gon na start clumping and curling together, you're, basically just reinforcing each curl, but to do it for your whole head. It'S kind of tedious, so I just do it for mainly the bigger ones and the other ones will just kind of be there. Remember that clip I put in the back of my head yeah, I'm going to take that out, but it kind of you know tangled in my hair. So I normally let my hair air dry. But if I'm in a rush to go somewhere, then I just blow-dry it. I don't use a diffuser. I don't have one so the regular blow-dryer does the job once the hair is dry to get it a little bigger. You want to take a pic and you want to go at just the roots. Don'T pick out the curls. Don'T pick out your hair just pick out the roots just to make it a little bigger just to make it have more volume. I hope I helped you guys bye

C: Another option for 4C is do 2 strands twists, let it air dry (or hooded dryer) and then untwist it… I do that with my clients and turns out perfect ❤️

PerkyTomato: I love how some people have this beautiful curly hair and some have stick straight hair, we're all beautiful and I love all the different types!

Iysatu Kargbo: finally someone who actually oils their scalp

Ava Abbey: Okay so I have been meaning to comment for so long. When I tell you nothing works to define my natural curls I mean it! I have spent a fortune trying to find something that works. THIS ACTUALLY WORKED! I was so shocked and cried! The only thing that I do different is for some reason if I blow dry, it destroys the curls. Girl thank you so much . I feel so confident and get compliments all the time. Thank you so much

aurcraz: I have short hair but I’m willing to try this method I feel like it’ll help my hair grow and also give me a look I’m going for/want. Thank you for this video I’ll be trying this out very soon.

Katherine I: this has been so useful, my hair is wild! and its super difficult to control so i normally just have it in cornrow 24/7 but that was damaging it and i didnt know what else to do! this has totally changed my hair routine. thank you so much!

Princess Alexander: THANK YOUUU GIRL, I BE SOO JEALOUS OF THE GIRLS THAT ARE JUST BORN WITH THE LOOSE HANGING CURLS! But I love my hair too!

Ya'Nese Music Official: Lmao sis there’s not enough appreciation for that intro ad

morgan erkard: FINALLY a video that EXPLAINS to a caring husband like me that wants to see my thick, kinky haired wife happy to show off her natural curls!!! Thank you so much for this post!!

Karissa Marcano: During quarantine earlier this year I wanted to define my curls because that's something I never do at all and I searched up some videos and I used the green eco gel and I was so proud of my self my curls were on fleek that was only a one td thing or a few times...

CRYSTAL MONAI: Thanks sis i was trying to find a simple way to define my curls , ran across your video first , this is Cute <3 I'm definitely going to try this out !

Candacy Lindie: Try adding more gel to get rid of the frizz for smoother, more defined curls. Yes it will get hard and crunchy but you can scrunch out the crunch once it dries (assuming the gel doesn't flake).

its_breezzey: finally someone with MY HAIR TYPE

Sonics world: I know it’s a year later that I’m seeing this but I’m glad I did! I never thought of just putting the product on my stands and not the roots as well! Great tips

Theyluv.Nyriah: Finally a video that actually was on 4c type hair and actually worked. This is a lot better hairstyle than me always wearing weave braids that damaged my hair.

annie: I have 1a hair but I like to watch these because I love learning about other hair types :) your hair is so beautiful

Tina Omotoyosi: I’ve been looking for a video like this. Thank you!! & your curls look great :)

MixedRaceGirl AndProud: You look so pretty and your hair is stunning I never know type 4 hair could do this I have 4C hair nothing ever works I would love to do what you did thanks for sharing I enjoyed the video

lamiahjr: Cute asf, thanks for the vid. I got a lot a hair and it’s time for me to start learning how to do my own hair.

Michelle Joy: Love this! Thanks for the tips

Sophia Zem: I just bought all the products in your description, I have been struggling soo much with my hair recently and this video has really helped so thank you soo much! Also does it make a difference if you don’t use the growth oil? x

Celebrity Island: Thank you so much, I have 4 type hair so it’s gets really poofy and hard and this helped

scorpionattitude: That specific leave in conditioner most definitely flakes and leaves a ton of product build up, there are a bunch that don’t leave product build up like that. I swore off Cantu leave in because of their weird flaking issue. Now I use it with a mix of deep conditioner simply because it feels nice, but needs to be washed out

Barrington Ratliff: A couple months ago, I used the gel with flaxseed. And I was salty as hell. Did work. Made my hair all crunchy. My hair shrunk. It was horrible. It might take some time for me to work up the courage to try this method

Sax and Relax: Im mixed race and i have 3b all over my head with one patch of type 4. really needed this

Net: I'm slowly learning how to take care of my own hair and this is honestly the most helpful resource I've seen Thank you

Artual Pseu: Hey!! Love your video. I see that these methods work for you. I used to do my hair like this but over time I found different methods that made my hair flourish. For example, the denman brush isn’t a Detangling brush, rather a styler that is good for defining curls. . I used to try using it on my hair and noooo buenooo I used to lose hair. I’m like why thooo. But people with looser textures than mine can maybe use it but it still is pretty harsh on the hair. My fav detangling brush is the ultimate tangle teezer. It’s super gentle. I don’t even define my curls anymore I just wear it in an Afro.

Abouk Koul: I tried this and my hair is perfect the curls are so defined I love it. how can I sleep in this hairstyle without ruining it ?

pamyla’s world 🪐: loveeee the intro! you're editing style is dope and you're so pretty!! curls look great sis

lovelyvvroses: Finally I can wear my hair down without it looking like a literal freaking just abomination .

Anitakins: Extremely helpful thank you Queen

Candy Girl: The coconut oil gel works for me ☺️

princessmichelle_: Finally I've found my hair type❤.....over a year new. I've been experiencing breakage like crazy and I'm fed up but finalllllly❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Kathy Flemmings: Great demonstration

cj_cheesy: I've been struggling with my hair for so long and I want to try this and see if it will help! I have a 4B/4C mix of hair, and my curls get so uneven lol... But after the style is completed, how do you keep it while sleeping? Bonnet or scarf?

Samia Segero: finally i’ve been looking for someone with the same hair type as me you are very beautiful by the way ❤️

LOVE THE AJs: So true only the green works I’ve tried them all

Jay: I like all versions of our hair honestly(trying something new is just more fun)

Deidre Paez: I agree I went back to the green after trying the Argan Oil eco styler for awhile not the same results at all! Maybe that is my problem too, I’m wetting my hair like crazy!!

Steph JLO: IT WORKED THANKS SOOOO MUCH

Paraiso Haris: I can’t use Cantu it makes my scalp itch but I did use to use it b4 my scalp got use to it. Now I use creme of natural or shea moister. And the red cap eco style gel works perfect for me it’s crazy how different our hair really is from eachother yet everyone thinks it’s the same

Karlia Boyer: I’ve learned that you can use the green and the brown coconut gel.

Kwami Otoo: I've been wondering that exact question. Which eco styling gel works the best? Thank you so much! I'm so glad God brought me to this video before I decided to spend my money on every EXISTING Eco Styling gel lol.

unknown weeb: Hi! Not sure If you'll see this but still worth a try, I'm assuming you use a bonnet at night but what do you do in the morning? You said you blow dry it but does it stay in the curls during night? I'm just curious cus I want to start to do this for my hair :)

Tanu Sharma: Me who has absolutely straight hair watching this cause of fun

Melinda Burnside: YOU DID A GOOD JOB

Someone: When I wash my hair it gets really curly

Cloudy.t: Your the first person to have the same hair type , hair texture and length as me

MechaLovee: you’re so pretty i wasnt even paying attention, and your voice is so soothing

AUG ED: Question I have type 3c/4a hair. But I inherited straight hair from my dad so I have a few just purely straight strands among my curls making it look really frizzy and I don’t know what to do Especially because the straight strands don’t curl. Any tips/advice? What do I do?

Ito: How long did your hair stay this way?

Mariam Kodhek: Love this!!

Myah Garrett: yea that's why I had to stop using the shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie because no matter what products I used with it, it left my hair looking white then it would be flaky
